Chapter 81: Chapter 80 - Lost Fight

"Are you sure that you want to fight me?" his brother asked with a smirk on his face.

He knew the position he was in. He knew that he could completely destroy Caliste if he wanted. But the reason Caliste was refusing wasn’t because of ego or anything like that.

It was because he did not want to see the Demon King, not after meeting with Liana. There was a chance that he might feel her presence, and that would make things very hard for him in the future. Aleia panicked as she also stood up and walked up to her mother. "Calm down, mother. It’s nothing bad; Caliste can do what he wants, right?"

"No. Not when it comes to other women who disrespected us!" Ava shook her head. "I need to have a talk with him. Where was that last place he was spotted?"

Ava was lying through her teeth. The only reason she was saying that was because she wanted an excuse to see her son again. It had been weeks since she had seen him, and she was really starting to miss him.

"Let’s go right away!" Ava said with a big smile on her face as the face of her son flashed inside her mind. "How long should it take to reach their territory?"

Aleia frowned as she began to think. "Since we’re quite near it, I think we should get there in the next hour at most."

Ava was smiling brightly. She almost looked like a kid right now. She was brimming with energy, knowing that she would finally see her son again. It had been so long, and she had missed him so much... she couldn’t wait to give him a tight hug.
