Chapter 52 - 51 - Aleia is a Little Jealous

Chapter 52: Chapter 51 - Aleia is a Little Jealous

Aleia and Caliste stood side by side as they looked at Fleur, Luna, and Alder all side by side on the stage near the throne.

"Did you really have to cause such a commotion for something as little as this?" Alder asked with a sigh as he looked behind Aleia.

There were at least five guards who had been badly injured from this situation. And those were the ones that he could see right now. He had no doubt in his mind that there were bound to be many more outside of the castle.

Caliste watched his sister with a smirk. ’I never saw her fight in the past. But if she was able to enter the castle by force, then that must mean that she’s quite strong herself.’

Caliste remembered the sword training that he had received from his sister. Of course, because of his past experience, he was much better than her at sword techniques. The only reason he kept losing to her was because of the sheer difference in physical strength.

However, that advantage quickly ended after Caliste’s corrupted mana core was healed by the Demon King after quite the scene...

"L-Little!? You call imprisoning the son of the Demon King little? Are you crazy?"

Aleia was still the same as always.

An overprotective older sister who would do anything in her power for the greater good of her little brother.

Alder was annoyed by the words she kept using as he shook his head. "Well, you can see that he’s out now, so you can just leave."

"Leave after coming all the way here?! You really are crazy. Tsk, it’s been over a week since I last saw him. I think I deserve to spend some time with my little brother."

"He has to complete a quest from the Demonic Academy, though. After all, because of his recent actions, the professors of the Academy aren’t too keen on giving him points."

Aleia frowned. "They don’t want to give him points because he refused to become one of their disciples?" She shook her head. "He made the right choice. Those professors don’t know anything about the real world. They’re all cooped up inside the academy thinking that they’re better than anyone else."

Caliste was surprised that she approved of his decision in front of the king, and he liked it.

"Whatever, what’s this quest of his? It shouldn’t be too hard to complete, right?"

"It’s about getting rid of a group of heretic demons."

Aleia raised an eyebrow. "They’re giving quests like that to first-years? Isn’t that too dangerous for them?"

Caliste was the one who spoke up this time. He placed a hand on Aleia’s shoulder.

"We’re the ones who chose this quest since we were a little late when choosing a quest. I didn’t even know about this point system two days ago."

Aleia shook her head. "We? Who are you doing this quest with?"

Fleur, who was on the stage, blushed as she slowly raised her hand. "M-Me..."

Aleia frowned as she saw who raised her hand. "You’re the one who is dating my little brother, is that right?"

Caliste shook his head and sighed.

He had no idea how it was possible that what happened inside the academy had already spread all around the world. He would have understood if it was in the same regions as the Academy, but they were not close at all.

"How do you even know about this?"

"Mom and I know everything about you, stupid, ungrateful brother!" she said as she slapped the back of his head with a pout.

"W-We aren’t together..." Fleur muttered under her breath. "N-Not yet..."

Aleia, who heard that, didn’t tell her brother, but she hated those words. After all, she had never expected Caliste to get close to a woman in such a short time. He had never come out of the house, and the last time he had met Fleur was at his 18th birthday, where he ruined everything for everyone.

She believed that they would have hated each other once they got to the Academy, not gotten close to one another romantically!

That was the last thing she wanted.

Because while Aleia was only Caliste’s sister, she couldn’t help but have developed some feelings for him. She had never told her brother; she had tried her best to keep the relationship neutral, but as time passed and Caliste grew up, the inevitable happened.

Especially after that last day where both Aleia and Ava gave their "goodbyes" in quite the special manner, making Caliste lose his virginity.

Ever since that day, Aleia had struggled to keep her brother out of her mind. She had wanted to see him again, and that’s when she heard that he was locked up somewhere.

That’s when she decided to go to the Elven Kingdom, so that she could meet with her little brother again!

"Not together yet, huh?" she muttered with a frown. "Ah... whatever. Go complete your quest as fast as you can. I want to talk to you before I head back to the Demon King’s Castle."

Caliste nodded, as he also wanted to spend some time with his sister. It had been a long time since such a thing had happened.

"Sure."

Fleur then joined Caliste as they swiftly left the castle.

As they left the room they were in, Alder tried to have Aleia follow him to a room they had prepared as soon as they heard of her presence. However, when he did so, in the blink of an eye, she was nowhere to be seen.

While everyone wondered where she had gone, she had decided to follow her little brother to make sure that he would be alright.

She had definitely not made that decision to see how close Fleur and Caliste were... that was not the reason at all...

She just wanted to make sure that he would be safe from anything that would be thrown at him.

Heretics were known to be quite tough opponents overall.
