Chapter 49: Chapter 48 - Information About Luther

The sun rose as the tension kept rising inside the dungeon cells.

"Y-You filmed me?!" Luna shouted, panicking. "B-But you told me that no one would find out about this!"

Luna could barely remember how many times she had said that Caliste was much better than her husband. If that information reached him, then her life was basically over; she was his wife... however, he was the one with the power. She wasn’t.

"Y-You have to promise me that you won’t show any of it to him."

Caliste smirked. "That only depends on you. Will you listen to everything I say?"

Luna gulped and nodded. "What do you want me to do?"

"I want to know where Luther Champlin and his wife are right now."

Luna frowned, surprised by such an easy question.

"Luther was called by the Demon King for an ’urgent meeting,’ as far as I remember. As for his wife, she is currently inside the castle, patiently waiting for his return."

Caliste’s eyes widened. "She’s inside the castle. Why didn’t I meet with her?"

Luna shook her head, almost embarrassed to say it. "Because she’s not allowed to leave her room while Luther is absent. You see, Luther, the great hero, is quite the possessive person, and he was scared that someone would try something on his wife while he was gone."

’He thought that far? That dumbass?’

Caliste could hardly believe it.

Luther was a real dumbass. However, it was true that he could become crazy when it came to women. He would often be very impulsive in the past whenever Liana was mentioned. After all, while he had never said it, everyone knew that he was in love with her.

It was quite pathetic... really.

Liana had never even given him the time of day, and he was still head over heels for her. Ridiculous.

There was even a chance that was the reason why he had decided to betray Caliste back then.

"I see. Can I know where she is residing inside the castle?"

"She’s right beside my room. Though, you’ll never be able to see her. On top of not being able to leave her room, there are at least five guards making sure that no one can sneak inside her room."

Caliste shook his head as he cursed Luther in his mind.

That guy was a maniac. A fucking maniac! There was no other explanation as to why he would go that far to protect his wife.

Still, five guards were nothing that would stop Caliste. He had already dealt with one down here; he doubted those five would manage to do anything against him.

"I can see what you’re thinking. The guards that are up there are not of the same caliber as the one down here. They are knights that Luther has personally trained and whom he trusts with his life. They are not like those down here who are complete trash."

The more words that came out of Luna’s mouth, the more complicated the situation seemed to become.

Those guards wouldn’t be easy to deal with, especially with Caliste’s current strength.

"Are you able to enter her room?"

She nodded. "Yes, women are allowed inside. But that’s it. All men are refused entry."

Caliste smirked. "Then that’s all I need. As long as you’re inside, this is easy."

After all, Caliste had created a spell in his past life for situations like this. It was called Switch Teleportation. He was about to switch his position with someone else as long as the two of them agreed. So if Luna could enter, then there was no problem.

"Right... before you go, do you know why Luther had to meet with the Demon King? Anything in particular?"

She shook her head. "I’m not privy to such details. However, Luther did seem on edge these past few days. I heard him being quite mad about a certain ’deal,’ but that’s all I know."

Caliste frowned. "Deal? What kind of deal exactly?"

"No clue. That’s all I know. Anyway, I have to go back to Alder’s room before he wakes up."

Caliste smiled as he realized that Luna had not called him her husband. She had called him by his name. This was already good progress.

"When we are alone, I want you to call me hubby. Understood?"

Luna nodded without hesitation. It’s not like she had a choice anyway, and it’s not like she minded. With the night she had just spent, Luna would never even try to have sex with Alder again. Nothing that he could do would ever compare to the pleasure she had felt tonight.

It was on a completely different level than before.

"I will tell you later when I want to meet with Luther’s wife."

Luna nodded as she went on her way.

She walked up the stairwell and noticed that the guard still hadn’t moved an inch, the look in his eyes completely void of thoughts.

"Are you okay?"

There was no answer.

"I only listen to my Master."

’Is he talking about Caliste?’ Luna thought.

Looking at the guard sent shivers down her spine. She realized that she had no idea who she was dealing with.

Caliste was a man full of surprises, and it seemed that he was trying to attack Luther...

Luna hadn’t said anything about it. But touching Luther’s wife was the last thing he wanted to do. If there was one way to enrage the great hero, it was to touch his woman. He would go ballistic if he ever heard of Caliste’s interest in her. He might even kill him because of it.

’Let’s hope that he doesn’t find out...’ she thought as she walked up to her room, her legs sore from the rough night she had gotten. ’Who knew that it was possible to feel that good from having sex? I never felt anything even close to that with my husband...’

Luna didn’t know it just yet, but she would be missing Caliste and his cock a lot in the next few days.
