Chapter 1291 - Chapter 1291 Chapter 1390 Falling into the Demon Horde

Chapter 1291: Chapter 1390: Falling into the Demon Horde Chapter 1291: Chapter 1390: Falling into the Demon Horde When Fang Lin arrived here, he saw himself surrounded by a large group of Demon Beasts of all sizes and types–one big, one small, one tall, one strong–they encircled him tightly, pairs of eyes fixed on Fang Lin as if they would pounce and tear him apart at the slightest movement.

Fang Lin was initially startled, thinking to himself how treacherous the Array Eye was, depositing him directly into a lair of Demon Beasts.

But upon closer inspection, most of these Demon Beasts were not very powerful. Although there were some at the Four Transformations realm, there were even more at the Three and Two Formations levels.

And with Fang Lin’s current strength, even Demon Beasts of the Demon King tier were no match for him, let alone these that hadn’t even reached the Fifth Transformations realm of Demon Kings.

Fang Lin snorted coldly, releasing his own imposing aura, causing the expressions of these Demon Beasts to change dramatically as many of them displayed a look of panic.

Just as Fang Lin was about to take action, his heart suddenly tensed, and a sense of danger enveloped his mind.

“Be careful above,” the Old Dried Corpse immediately warned.

Fang Lin looked up sharply and saw perched atop a towering tree, a Five-colored Bird Demon Beast looking down at him from a high vantage point.

The bird had colorful feathers, stunningly beautiful and vibrant. Its wings were folded at its sides, and it had a golden beak, with what appeared to be a flower on top of its head.

That wasn’t a flower, but rather the feathers on top of the Five-colored Bird’s head which were uniquely shaped like a blooming flower.

In addition to the brilliant five-colored feathers, the most peculiar thing about this bird was the flame swirling at the end of its tail.

Fang Lin’s eyes were piercing. This Five-colored Bird had the aura of a Fifth Transformations Demon King and was exceptionally powerful, not one that common Demon Kings could compare with.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The ground suddenly began to tremble, and the sound of giant footsteps approached from afar.

Fang Lin’s expression changed again, and he became very alert, uncertain about what was happening next.

The surrounding Demon Beasts dispersed, each showing a look of reverence on their faces, when a tall White-haired Giant Bear appeared from a distance.

The White-haired Giant Bear was over five men tall with a bulky and imposing figure; its dense white fur seemed unruly, and its bear eyes were brimming with ferocity and violence.

Seeing this White-haired Giant Bear, Fang Lin’s heart jumped once more–this was yet another Demon King.

And it didn’t stop there. After the appearance of the White-haired Giant Bear, a bolt of lightning shot across from another direction.

Before Fang Lin could get a clear look, a creature resembling a giant rat appeared close by.

This Demon Beast, like the rat, was pulsing with fine purple lightning, its body pitch-black, and its eyes were as shrewd as a human’s.

Without a doubt, this Purple Lightning Giant Mouse was also a Demon King.

Three Demon Kings appearing together, each more extraordinary than the last, placed a great deal of pressure on Fang Lin.

And in a place Fang Lin hadn’t noticed, a spider, no bigger than a thumb and grey in color, silently descended along its web, hovering not far behind Fang Lin, as if ready to strike a fatal blow at any moment.

“Kid, there’s a spider behind you,” the Old Dried Corpse noticed the spider’s presence before Fang Lin did and alerted him.

Fang Lin didn’t turn around; his Heavenly Eye opened, and he immediately saw the spider hidden behind him, and he was inwardly shocked.

If it weren’t for the Old Dried Corpse alerting him, he might not have even noticed the spider. A bite from that creature could spell trouble.

The spider was completely gray. Although it was not large, it faintly radiated strands of gray air, looking very strange, and also possessed the mighty aura of a Demon King.

As such, Fang Lin was now surrounded by four Demon Kings. Each one was extremely powerful, outside they could rival several Martial Artists of the same realm who had undergone the Spirit Bone transformation.

With four Demon Kings surrounding him, who knew if there were any other Demon Kings present, or even more powerful Demon Beasts beyond the ranks of Demon Kings.

However, Fang Lin remained very calm, though a bit puzzled in his mind. According to the people who had escaped from The Forest of Mist in the past, they had not encountered any Demon Beasts within the forest, but why had he encountered so many all at once, and even bumped into Demon Kings?

At that moment, the Five-colored Bird perched on the tree spread its wings and let out a clear, resounding call that echoed in all directions.

Fang Lin immediately felt dizzy and nauseous, a wave of discomfort washing over his brain. He quickly activated the power of the Heavenly Eye to neutralize the sound from the Five-colored Bird.

At the same time, the White-haired Giant Bear and the Purple Lightning Giant Mouse took action, charging toward Fang Lin.

The Purple Lightning Giant Mouse was the fastest. Its body transformed into a flash of purple light, reaching Fang Lin in an instant, and immediately unleashed a bolt of lightning toward Fang Lin.

Fang Lin did not dodge or evade and absorbed the lightning strike without a scratch, feeling nothing at all.

Not only did it not hurt or itch, Fang Lin actually felt somewhat comfortable.

Fang Lin had been cultivating in the Thunder Pool previously and his body had absorbed a great deal of the power of thunder and lightning. He had long possessed a considerable resistance to lightning, so the Purple-haired Giant Rat, though capable of releasing lightning, couldn’t harm Fang Lin with such a minor display of power.

The White-haired Giant Bear approached, lifting a paw to stomp down on Fang Lin.

“Get lost!” Fang Lin punched out, fiercely hitting the underside of the bear’s paw.

The bear howled in pain, feeling a sharp pain in the sole of its paw. Its huge body suddenly became unsteady on its feet, nearly falling to the ground.

After throwing his punch, Fang Lin leapt into action, no longer concerning himself with the White-haired Giant Bear, instead, he went straight for the Five-colored Bird.

Because Fang Lin had realized that apart from the gray spider lurking in the shadows, the most troublesome among these Demon Kings was this Five-colored Bird.

As Fang Lin attacked, the Five-colored Bird was calm and collected, with a dazzling light radiating from its body. A fierce gust of wind rose and blew Fang Lin back.

The Purple Lightning Giant Mouse attacked again, appearing behind Fang Lin with sharp claws digging fiercely toward Fang Lin’s neck.

Fang Lin shifted his feet, narrowly avoiding the Purple Lightning Giant Mouse’s sneak attack, and turned around with a palm strike that sent the mouse flying.

Whoosh!

Just then, the gray spider moved as well, its tiny size making it extremely difficult to guard against. It precisely chose its moment to strike lethally at Fang Lin.

Unfortunately for it, Fang Lin had his Heavenly Eye open all the time, clearly noticing every movement around him, and he spotted the spider as soon as it moved.

Fang Lin did not flinch or dodge and with a point of his finger, his strong finger force instantly struck the gray spider.

But this strike didn’t seem to harm the gray spider much. It stopped attacking Fang Lin and once again hid in the shadows.
