The Emperor's Omega Is An Extra
Chapter 199: Trap (1)

Chapter 199: Trap (1)

Actually, Arren wasn’t really satisfied yet, and he wanted to vent his anger at once and kick his face until Ramir’s face was barely unrecognizable. It wasn’t only about what he did but that this alpha ruined this trip for them, Arren already had a hunch that this incident would be reported or had been reported in Spade’s ears already.

He didn’t know if they could continue again after this or had no choice but to go home afterward.

There was really a great risk for Arren if he was recognized outside, even though he wanted to downplay it for his own sanity. His life was in danger at all times, and he was aware of that.

Arren looked down at Ramir, who was still on the ground and holding his stomach and even his shin after what he did. He was about to give another kick, but someone had already held his hand. As he turned, he instantly made eye contact with Rave, who shook his head.

He frowned, but he didn’t argue anymore and stood beside the other omega while watching Ramir in pain. He clenched his teeth, and the itchiness of his palm to slap that face came back, but he controlled himself this time.

In any case, Ramir was indeed part of the upper nobility, and Duke Merphen’s grandson at that. although he wasn’t that worried since the one at his back was far bigger and more powerful than they could imagine!

"You fucking bitch, I’ll kill you!" Amidst his painful gut, Ramir lifted his head and stared viciously at Arren as though he was about to grind his teeth and eat Arren down to his bones with his anger.

"Heh, I’ll wait to see you try," Arren mocked, fueling the anger of the other as it was so satisfying to see that furious face. Don’t you just love when perverts are in a disadvantageous position? Hah, Arren wanted to kick him again!

So he averted his eyes and decided not to look at Ramir’s face. There was quite a commotion as the three men and his bodyguards were escorted outside. Even if there was something fishy about this, since the restaurant seemed not afraid to offend the big noble Ramir over the omegas, who didn’t seem to have any background, they only talked about how an omega kicked Ramir and shared it with their friends that were not there to witness it.

Arren and Rave now stood in one of the rooms of the building, just one floor below where the restaurant was located. He was looking outside through the window, having calmed down his emotions.

"Rave, do you think this is the end and we need to go home?" Arren pouted, and there was some kind of sadness in his tone. Just when he thought everything was going well and he was having a good time with Rave, something like this happened!

He didn’t ask the one who stopped Ramir earlier, but he was aware that this wasn’t the end of it and that alpha would make a big deal out of it until he was forced to shut up, and then his identity would be revealed if his father or Spade intervened.

His father... didn’t have a good temper either when it came to people disrespecting him. And as for Spade, there was no need to think of his reactions; he couldn’t even imagine the extent of Spade’s reaction to this incident after he found out.

Or at this moment, as the guards were not answering his questions at all and they only let them stay in this room.

"I don’t know," Rave answered, his mood was more or less the same as Arren’s. This started well and was about to end early because of some imbeciles who thought of them as superiors and couldn’t keep their lust in check.

Arren’s eyes glowed as he turned around and sat in one of the seats inside. The room was simple, with one big round table and seats on it; it looked like a conference room at a glance.

He squinted his eyes and stared at the men with them who were guarding the door. They had only been like that since earlier, and they evaded his eyes once Arren looked at them and was about to ask questions. For real, they pissed him off so much.

He knew it was hard to keep him safe, and they needed a lot of careful consideration while also receiving orders, but could they just answer him and not act as if he didn’t exist?

"Don’t be too hard on them," Rave’s graceful voice rang as he sat beside Arren, "they’re only doing their job. This situation is a bit tricky." Rave’s eyes flickered with light, "But it’s not for us... it’s for him... for them."

Arren turned his head to the side and glanced at Rave. While he thought it was reasonable and that Rave looked so cool, he still couldn’t help but bitterly smile.

"It’s not necessarily so..." he mumbled, thinking of Spade; the alpha wouldn’t really lock him in the palace this time, right? He sighed. Why did trouble always find him each time he went outside? Was he really destined to be a shut-in otaku?

Oh, this cruel life.

As Arren was having problems with his destined life as a shut-in otaku, what he predicted was coming true after all. The incident that happened in the restaurant reached Spade’s ears in the palace.

He was busy having a meeting with the higher-ranking members of Black Intel; some were there in person, while others could only afford to do it virtually as their identities were very sensitive and the places they were in charge were far away or confidential.

They had an in-depth plan on what to do with the accumulated data and evidence for those involved in the organization. Wide operations were not possible or might cause unrest as the individuals on their list were influential, and there was a possibility of them fighting back, so they had to be cautious of that as well.

In fact, the moment they detonated the bomb themselves and started capturing these spies, they couldn’t turn back anymore as it was the beginning of their war against the organization, so the timing needed to be right and the advantage was on their side.

Spade flipped through the documents while skimming them; he had already read them once earlier, but he was checking them again while one spoke, giving a report on the situation on his side.

At this time, someone came in.

"Your Majesty," said the man who came in, he seemed to be anxious since the way he stood lacked confidence and held some fear.

He raised his head, arching his brow at the one who came in, before recognizing him as part of the one monitoring Arrne’s route via monitors and the central communication of the guards outside.

Spade went all out; he didn’t want to risk anything and gave chances to the organization to sneak in during this period. Although what he wanted was for Arren to enjoy his time outside, that didn’t mean he would be idle either, as he really made sure all the routes were monitored and tightly guarded.

He didn’t want anything to go wrong on this trip. But as soon as Spade saw this man and noticed the urgency in his face, he immediately had the hunch that something might have happened.

Spade’s brow furrowed and he frowned; his expression became dark, and he motioned for the person to approach him. The man went immediately and leaned forward to whisper to Spade. As he listened, his expression grew increasingly dark, and his pheromones became thicker, almost stumbling the guard that was reporting to him.

The crease between his brows deepened before he clenched his jaw, having a hard time controlling himself. It was hard enough for him to keep his overprotectiveness and possessiveness at bay from Arren when he let him hang out with Rave outside, especially at this crucial time, and now something like this happened.

The man finished and stood beside Spade; however, he couldn’t help but step back a few steps as it was suffocating to be around the raging alpha.

Everyone in the room fell silent; even those who were not around and were only listening from miles away could feel the shift in the air inside the conference room.

Spade clicked his tongue, and his amber pupils darkened as he loosened his cuffs. The documents he was holding were now crumpled before he settled them on his desk.

"Who is the person, again?" he asked his tone almost like a growl but at the same time holding an eerie calmness that sent shivers down the spines of everyone present.

"It’s..." The person who was being pressured the most was the man reporting to him on what happened. As his words stumbled, almost shaking from inside, he swallowed and tried to answer the monarch. "It’s... R-Ramir Merphen, the grandson of Duke Merphen, Your Majesty."

His gaze lingered on the guard, who was having a hard time bare the pressure that he emitted. Spade’s eyes flickered menacingly, and at the same time, a cold smile curled on his lips.

"Ramir... Merphen..." he mumbled this name clearly, but to those listening to him, it was as though he was giving a death sentence to the one that held this name.

Spade’s cold gaze landed on the crumpled documents and the name that had happened to be at the front. His eyes flashed with a dangerous glint.

"Just as I thought of dealing with you last, Duke Merphen," he whispered, emphasizing the name dangerously.

And so, just like that, the trap was set for these rats.
