The Emperor's Omega Is An Extra
Chapter 145: Reunion

Chapter 145: Reunion

Of course, even though the beach had a certain limit for its visitors every month, there were still a lot of people on the island, especially this morning.

Arren didn’t know what was going on on Levin’s side. Curt was hard to capture, but it should be easier this time, especially if he was alone; how could he hide here or even escape once everyone had locked onto him? His luck was already spent, hopefully.

Otherwise, Arren would definitely mock Levin for being incompetent if that undying fellow still managed to escape his grasp.

An enemy’s territory wasn’t necessarily always the safest place to hide, and it was like delivering yourself to the other’s mouth. That was Curt’s fate at the moment.

Even so, he didn’t have much time to think of others as he was chasing Rave, who was chasing Mr. Ivo. Until now, when he was running with them and almost out of breath, he still didn’t have any clue as to why they had a chasing game. Was it possible that Mr. Ivo and Rave knew each other?

Were they enemies? Since, if they had a good relationship, why would Mr. Ivo run upon seeing Rave and the Omega also chase after him?

Whatever, he didn’t know what was going on. But he knew one thing—he was screwed again. He left once more; his sins had now accumulated to the point, he didn’t even know how to make it up to the alpha for what he had done. Hopefully, he could come back when Spade still had to arrive. Which was unlikely to happen, looking at their situation.

As they were running, he almost lost Rave. Arren couldn’t match the other’s stamina since he wasn’t really athletic and couldn’t run fast either. When he caught up to Rave, who was looking around, he seemed to lose sight of Mr. Ivo.

The crowd had made it hard for them to look for the elder omega. Arren didn’t say anything, but he only followed him. Rave also seemed occupied and didn’t bother with Arren before he ran again; the omega’s persistence made Arren stare in awe.

This was like when he was reading the book, and he truly admired Rave for his skills, and now seeing a small extent of them made him amazed for some reason.

While Ivo really was running ahead of them, the elder was already old after all. His stamina already couldn’t keep up with Rave, who was determined to chase him until the very end; it was like the word tired was not in his dictionary as he chased the elder omega, leaving behind Arren, who was similarly unable to keep up with him.

So, only a few minutes later, Rave had already caught up with Ivo and grabbed his arm. The elder omega was still not turning around, and they couldn’t see his face, but Arren already knew it was really Mr. Ivo.

"R-Rave, I said..." He took a deep breath and stopped right behind them, he needed to catch his breath. "...wait for me." He continued, still panting from all that running.

Rave didn’t look for him; he was just holding the elder omega’s hand firmly. But as Arren looked at his face, he was astonished to see the white-haired omega’s expression!

Was this really Rave, who was always composed? His lips were trembling, his hands were the same, and even the corners of his eyes were extremely red, as though he was about to cry any moment.

Arren’s mouth parted, and he fell silent, not daring to make a sound. Fuck, something was really going on with Rave and Mr. Ivo? This made him speechless. What a small world, ah!

He chose to be silent and not say anything since he wasn’t really involved, but he still knew the two, so he let them be. As he was watching, ready to take in all the information that he could get from their interaction, Mr. Ivo moved. Arren thought he was about to escape Rave’s grip on his arm, and he prepared to run with them again.

However, Mr. Ivo didn’t run as he anticipated; instead, he sighed in defeat and finally turned his face around. Arren couldn’t help but cast a glance at Rave’s face to gawk at his reaction.

He already had a guess in his mind of their relationship, since other than those two people in the world, Arren couldn’t think of anyone else that could elicit that kind of reaction from the omega.

Still, it seemed he and Rave also needed that kind of confirmation. And the moment that Mr. Ivo turned around, the omega looked at him, his eyes didn’t blink for even a split second. He stared into the elder omega’s face.

And only a few seconds later, the tears that were beginning to pool in the corner of his eyes started to stream uncontrollably down his cheeks as he threw himself into Mr. Ivo’s embrace, sobbing like a child.

Arren also couldn’t help but be emotional on the side. He knew how much the omega wanted to see his parents, to the point of risking his life on the pitiful chance and hope that he had.

This was the confirmation that he needed. There was no question about it: Mr. Ivo was Rave’s omega father.

"P-Papa..." Rave called amidst his tears, and he hugged the elder omega so tightly that it seemed as though he was about to vanish again in front of him once he loosened his grip. His whole body was still trembling, and Mr. Ivo began to feel distressed and coaxed the crying Rave.

Arren looked at this heartwarming reunion, and suddenly, he also missed his father. Sigh. After he began living in the palace for the second time, he rarely saw his father as well.

He glanced to the side; this place wasn’t too crowded, but there were still people passing by and looking curiously at them. Arren coughed dryly; he hated to interrupt their moment, but sooner or later, they might draw a curious crowd with them.

Their identities were too sensitive, and there would be huge consequences if someone recognized them in public. He approached them and smiled, "Uhh... what do you all think of going to Mr. Ivo’s house?" he suggested.

Mr. Ivo looked at him and glanced at the crowd before nodding. Rave had no reaction and was still burying his face in the elder omega’s chest, not intending to let go.

In the end, they managed to make Rave agree, but he still would not let go of Mr. Ivo’s hand, who had a similar strong grip on his son. It wasn’t for long before they reached Mr. Ivo’s rented private villa. Perhaps it was already his, though.

Arren was silent throughout; he wanted the two to have their own world after all these years. He originally wanted to listen to some information, but looking at Rave’s state, it seemed they couldn’t have a serious conversation at the moment.

He was huddled up on the couch and watching the two having a hushed conversation. He could still hear it.

"It’s okay... Papa is sorry. Yes, I’m not going to leave... Don’t cry..." Mr. Ivo coaxed Rave like a child, while the latter had already calmed down from crying but still didn’t want to let go.

He sighed. Rave really went through so much and missed his parents so much that he wasn’t surprised that he was like this. For talking about the past, that could wait.
