Chapter 142: Met

In the end, Arren set out with Mr. Ivo. As for why the elder omega insisted on accompanying him.

"Mr. Ivo, you don’t really need to accompany me. I can get there myself." While walking, Arren held the hat in his head and followed the elder omega while convincing him not to bother sending him to the destination.

After all, he was already grateful enough that Mr. Ivo took him in for the night. He didn’t want to bother him too much.

The elder omega only nonchalantly waved his hand as he walked in front, he wore his hood once more. "Don’t worry, I insist. It’s also been a long time since I went out and explored the island. just take it as I’m touring the island with you."

Arren was speechless. If what Mr. Ivo said was true, that he had been staying on this island for months, he was like a local. So, did he really need to tour the island again? Well, that was possible, but he was aware the omega was doing it for his sake.

It all came to this; the elder omega was too persistent, so it wasn’t right to continue to refuse. Arren really didn’t know why Mr. Ivo was doing this. If it was because he resembled that friend of his, it was still a bit much to treat a stranger like this, right?

Perhaps, he was really that kind.

"Are we renting a car?" He walked beside Mr. Ivo, he didn’t have any qualms anymore that the elder omega was with him.

"We are, As I said, it’s quite far here," he answered, stopping midway and glancing at Arren at his side. "If you want to sightsee, we can walk from here and rent a car later," he suggested.

Arren pondered and was a bit interested, but he was hesitant since he wanted to return and see Spade immediately. He thought of it before agreeing; it was still early anyway. They could rent a car later, and they might encounter someone that was searching for him, and they could hop on there instead, which was the better scenario he could think of.

"It’s fine with me. I also want to look around." Arren was a bit excited as he saw the stalls that were beginning to open. There were still some attractions on this island that were similar to those on other beaches that tourists often wanted to try.

Arren was no better, that was one of his plans, which was to explore the bustling center of the island on their last day here. But the situation had gone awry because of him, if he met with Spade, he didn’t know if he would be allowed to play around again.

His eyes were bright, and he restrained himself from running straight to the stalls. He ignored the look from Mr. Ivo, stunned at how fast he changed his reaction. One minute he was eager to return, and after another distraction, he was now reluctant again.

No, he was just going to look for a few minutes. Truly.

Arren held his word since what was even more important than fooling around was his alpha. While passing by, he would look before going to another and then leaving. He wasn’t really in the mood to try them, but it was enough for his eyes to feast. He could have a henna tattoo some other time.

"Mr. Ivo, let’s just rent a car." Arren grew bored, and only half an hour later did he already decide to ride a car instead.

He thought that he could still focus on sightseeing, but his mind always wandered to Spade, and he was already becoming uneasy. Arren couldn’t enjoy the scenery or the surroundings; all he wanted was to return to his alpha.

Mr. Ivo seemed unsurprised by this.

"I’ll rent a car. Do you want to accompany me or wait here?" he asked, fixing his hoodie that was being swayed by the wind.

Arren shook his head, "It’s fine, I’ll wait for you here." He might be recognized if he joined the elder omega. Since for sure a lot of people were there.

"Wait for me here, then." After saying that, he left Arren.

Arren was on the side of the road, holding his hat, and he walked until he reached the shade of the coconut tree. He even looked at it, afraid that a coconut might fall on his head. However, he sighed in relief that they were still flowers at the moment.

He stood there, looking at the passersby. He was bored, so he was looking at them to pass the time, and only a few minutes later, two people passed by in front of him.

They were talking with each other, and the tall one held a coconut fruit with two straws in the shape of a heart.

"It’s cheap, so I bought it."

"It’s okay, I’m not thirsty."

"Come on, it’s good." persuaded by the other.

"I said, I don’t want—" His words were stopped as he and Arren’s eyes met, the man with white hair still had his mouth parted from being interrupted midsentence.

Even the one with him had already looked at Arren, who was leisurely standing under the shade of a young coconut tree.

Arren was the one who recovered first; he grinned and waved at them as though finally seeing his longtime friends after a long time.

"Yo, how are you?" he said, grinning. In fact, he was so happy that he saw them. He knew these two were here to search for him. After his teasing tone, the two also woke up and confirmed that the one in front of them was Arren.

The first to react was Rave, who pounced on Arren and caught him off guard as he made a step back, but the white-haired omega already got a hold of him.

"R-Rave? We can talk about this; we don’t need to use violence." Arren’s arm was in Rave’s hold, and he almost thought he would twist it like those criminals that were caught after escaping.

He wasn’t saying he was like an escaped criminal, but that he was really a lost omega that had wandered this far. He wouldn’t be surprised if the omega was annoyed because of his stupidity, which was an expected reaction from him.

However, contrary to his expectation, instead of twisting his arm, Rave actually embraced him tightly. Arren’s face was so surprised that he couldn’t react or respond as he made eye contact with Levin with a questioning gaze. Rave’s action really made him confused.

Levin only shrugged, still holding the coconut, and drank from it.

Arren couldn’t think of the reason for the omega’s abnormality when Rave spoke.

"Stupid. You’re always stupid; how can you be lost in the ocean?" He shouted, which made Arren surprised since this tone was completely unlike Rave’s, who had a soft yet almost monotonous voice. But at the moment, his voice was filled with agitated emotions as he called Arren stupid.

He wasn’t surprised for long, as his heart grew warmer, and responded to the hug. Arren chuckled and nodded, "Yes, I’m really stupid. You don’t need to rub it in, okay?"

Rave seemed to realize what he did but still didn’t withdraw from the hug. "No, you need to know how stupid you are."

Arren didn’t respond as he laughed with Rave’s tone, which came back to its natural voice, and yet there was a hint of embarrassment to it, which was extremely cute.

And as he saw Levin, he winked his eyes and tightened his embrace with Rave, and he smirked when the alpha glared at him because of his incitement.

He laughed; that’s what you get from being slow.
