The Emperor's Omega Is An Extra
Chapter 131: Contest

Chapter 131: Contest

Arrren didn’t take his eye off Spade, observing his reaction. However, Spade was only stunned for a moment before he nodded and complied without saying anything.

He blinked his eyes as the alpha scooted closer; both of his hands were holding the hem of his shirt, lifting it. Arren was slightly confused that his script seemed to be a little off from what he initially intended.

Spade put some lotion in his palm, raised his head, and said, "Don’t let go and lift your shirt steadily."

With his almost authoritative voice, Arren couldn’t help but instinctively nod his head obediently. Wait... something was not right? Was he the one in the upper hand, but why was it their situation was reversed?

The alpha then began and focused on applying the sunscreen to his chest, as he requested. Arren gaped, and he was in a daze, watching and waiting for something to happen like an idiot.

Spade’s fingers started to make contact with his abdomen, and the moment that he did, Arren held the hiss that was about to come out of his lips. His fingers encircled his stomach and spread the lotion, slowly tracing upwards. Both of the alpha’s hands moved on either side of his ribs until it was finally in his chest.

However, as Spade was about to touch his chest, he stopped. Arren was taken aback, and he almost cursed. What’s with this cliffhanger? He lifted his gaze and looked at the alpha, confused.

"I need to add some more," he casually said, but the corner of his lips curled upward.

Arren knew it was deliberate, but could he argue? If he did, he might truly come out thirsty to his touch! He was, but still, he didn’t want to admit defeat this time.

It was like they had some kind of competition in which the person who would surrender first to the other’s seduction was the loser. The fact that it started because of the battle over sunscreen was really hilarious thing.

His eyelids twitched, and he bit his lips. Spade was purposely making him crave. Full of resentment inside, he watched as the alpha enjoyed his gaze filled with an evil aura.

It didn’t take long, either, before Spade stopped fooling around and riling the omega; otherwise, it might backfire against him instead. He began to apply the sunscreen to Arren’s chest, purposely avoiding the eye-catching nipple and going around it.

Arren’s breath heaved as it slowed down from being teased for no reason by the alpha. Biting his lips, he controlled his own desire, and yet his hand that was raised trembled and almost let go of the shirt.

Spade’s brow amusingly moved, as he stopped. "Hold it still," he whispered.

He swallowed and licked his lips. "I know... Just get it done." He blurted somewhat impatient in his tone but his slow breaths revealed his condition.

If he continued to play around his chest, Arren might already admit defeat, having been killed by his own antics. Fortunately, or maybe because Spade was also affected by their little game, the alpha finished applying the sunscreen. Truthfully, it wasn’t necessary for his nipples to have this kind of lotion.

"Done," the alpha smiled, holding the bottle, "do you want me to help you some more?" It was obvious what he was trying to say; the teasing tone was obvious.

Arren, who thought that he was suddenly exhausted, let go of his shirt and was speechless at this question. He was aware that Spade was challenging him again.

He gritted his teeth and, without saying anything, snatched the bottle from Spade’s hand. Like hell, he wanted him to help! With grievances in his heart, he could only take this loss for now. However, he was silently writing this in his heart; he would take his revenge sooner or later.

Spade watched as Arren became busy and put some sunscreen on his legs and arms before his face and neck. The omega was silent, and yet there was some kind of fire that was ignited in his eyes; it seemed like he was plotting something in his mind to get even with him.

Holding back his laughter, he sat in the blanket. He didn’t want to tease Arren further. Spade was aware that the omega was truly capable of any sort of idea in his mind. Who knew what Arren would use next to test his limits?

He stayed and silently waited for Arren; Spade had already put on the sunscreen earlier, and he was ready to play under the sun.

Arren set aside the bottle, pursing his lips, and looked into the distance. It was still the time when the sun was a little painful to the skin. Himayana Island was in the part of the world where it was summer all year long, a perfect location indeed for a beach paradise.

"Do you want to eat some watermelon?" Spade’s voice rang, coaxing Arren.

He shot a glance at the alpha, and while he was still annoyed at having shot himself in the foot and being defeated in his area of expertise, Arren was the kind of person who knew how to shelve grievances at the right time.

Arren would still take his revenge, but he wouldn’t ignore his alpha about it. He nodded, feeling hot, both from the temperature and the atmosphere from earlier.

"Okay! I want one... no, two!" He even made a peace sign and grinned. After all, it was not like he could play in the sea immediately since he needed to wait a few minutes after applying the sunscreen.

Spade pinched his chin and smiled, stood up, and got some watermelon for them.

They stayed under the shade of the umbrella and ate watermelon while talking about anything. It was like what happened earlier didn’t happen at all, and they were still harmonious.

The two of them did look like a normal couple that was there for some beach outing. Well, given that they completely own the land under their feet and no one would disturb them.

"Let’s go. I want to swim!" Arren stood up and was excited to finally play on the beach. Spade also didn’t discourage him and let him go.

He removed his shirt, exposing his bare upper body, and ran through the sea without looking back. Only after the water reached his knees did he turn around, waving enthusiastically to Spade.

"Spade! Come here, let’s swim!" He yelled and laughed.

He then turned around and continued, becoming distant from the shore.

Spade watched Arren from the distance, his expression was calm, but his eyes were bright and he was enjoying the omega’s reaction to the sea. He would never get tired of seeing him like this. It was like the satisfaction in his heart made him forget everything in his mind.

"It’s worth it... seeing him smile like that," he mumbled amidst the soft smile that appeared on his lips, and he also stood up, following Arren to the sea.

His footsteps weren’t fast, but his eyes were still focusing on Arren, where the water had already reached his chest. He could still clearly see him, watching over him.

Arren turned around again, laughed, and waved again. His smile reached his eyes as he urged Spade even more.

"Spade! You’re so slow, come fast!" He shouted, and this time, Arren remained facing him, waiting for him to approach where he was.

However, at this moment, Spade stopped in his tracks. It was as though he was frozen where he stood and became in a daze as he looked at the omega in the distance waiting for him.

Arren stopped waving his hand and tilted his head, confused. He didn’t know why the alpha stopped and continued looking at him.

Spade blinked, recovering from his momentary confusion. This wasn’t the first time it happened. The first two times, it was a triggering image that he wanted to forget but couldn’t.

However, this time, it was somehow a normal yet happy memory.

Arren stood exactly where he was, waving at him and shouting his name to come faster. Their images overlapped with each other in his eyes. Even the emerald water was the same, with some difference in that his hair was not blue but pink.

"Spade, hurry up!"

"Spade Remmington, hurry up!"

The two voices overlapped in his ears with the same voice and tone.
