Chapter 62: Chapter 62: Krazun power recover
Rose, still giggling after watching Nyssa and Grace’s interaction, turned her head and spotted Edith standing in front of Clair.
With a bright smile, she walked over."Well, yes~ our sword-freak sister is married now."
Edith blinked in surprise, then smiled with interest."Oh? Rose, who managed to beat her? I’ve got to meet this person."
Grinning mischievously, Rose leaned in and whispered,"Guess who? It’s Lilith’s lover. Probably her wife now, too."
Edith’s eyes widened as she adjusted her glasses with a knowing smirk."Wow... what is this, a romantic novel twist? Hehehe."
Lucy, overhearing them whisper again, groaned and turned to Clair."Clair, they’re at it again, talking like they’re in a romance drama. Isn’t real life enough? I don’t get you guys."
Clair chuckled softly, saying nothing.
Suddenly, a faint voice grumbled nearby.
"Tch. I didn’t expect her to lose," Thalia muttered under her breath.
Noticing her sulking, Clair stood up and walked over, sitting down beside her."Well, what can you do now? Honestly, Grace looked kind of happy after she lost... from her expression, anyway."
Thalia puffed her cheeks but nodded begrudgingly.
Clair glanced back toward her sisters and raised her voice."Alright, everyone—head to your rooms. We’ve got that meeting tomorrow."
Without waiting for protests, she stood and walked off into the hallway.
Meanwhile, on Earth – Las Vegas
On a dim rooftop bathed in neon glow, two figures stood near an unconscious man lying sprawled on the concrete.
One of them, wearing a knight’s uniform, looked down grimly at the body. He then turned to his companion, another knight standing silently with a gleaming dagger.
"Bro, what do we do now? Is it too late to sever his connection with the demon?"
The second knight crouched, his golden eyes glowing faintly as he examined the unconscious man. He pressed two fingers against the man’s neck, his face solemn.
After a tense moment, the light in his eyes faded. He let out a sigh."It’s too late... the bond is permanent. If we leave him alive, the demon will drive him insane. He’ll become a serial killer under its whispers."
The first knight clenched his jaw and crossed his arms tightly."Why can’t those damned demons stay in their own realm? Always hiding, always manipulating people like puppets..."
The second knight stood, his voice quiet but resolute."We still don’t understand why they do it. But what we do know—what’s written in every Knight’s Manual—is clear: either we cleanse them... or they’ll take over Earth. One person at a time."
The knight gave a solemn nod.
"Alright. I’ll handle it."
He knelt beside the unconscious man and, without hesitation, drew the dagger across his throat. Blood seeped out quickly, some splattering onto the knight’s face. He stood calmly, wiped the crimson drops off with a tissue, and stared down in silence for a moment.
"I’ll report it as a car accident," he muttered.
Outside a Private Manor
A heavily-armored black car pulled up in front of a grand estate. The guards at the gate sprang into motion, rushing to open the doors.
A man stepped out—tall, sharp-eyed, wearing a tailored black suit. He picked up his coat from the seat beside him and slung it over his shoulder.
Without a word, he strode toward the manor’s entrance.
Inside, a maid approached and bowed politely.
Jack gave her a brief glance and said,"I’m heading to the basement. Don’t disturb me."
"Yes, Minister," she replied softly.
Jack continued his way down the dim hallway, descending the stone steps into the underground facility below.
As his figure disappeared into the shadows, the maid straightened slowly.
For a brief second—just a flicker—her eyes glowed gold.
She closed them again, her face expressionless.
She slipped a hand into her pocket and pulled out a sleek black phone, dialing a number with practiced ease.
Bringing it to her ear, she spoke in a low voice,"Reporting. The minister is heading to the basement again—meeting them. Should I eliminate him now?"
A calm, authoritative voice replied from the other end,"Not yet. Let him be for now. If he dares to act against the Church or the Knights, then you take care of him."
"Understood, Miss."
She ended the call and slipped the phone back into her pocket. Her gaze shifted toward the basement door.
Her eyes, once a deep black, shimmered—then turned a glowing gold.
In the basement, Jack descended the stairs and entered a dimly lit room filled with glowing screens. He took a seat at a console and pressed a blue button on the table. The monitors flickered to life, displaying shadowy black figures.
Jack stared at the screens and said,"Friends, the Church is growing stronger by the day. We need to take action before it’s too late."
One figure on a screen nodded and responded,"I’m with you, Jack. Something has to be done."
Another figure chimed in,"Luke, don’t spout nonsense. We’re no match for them right now. We’ve wanted to put the Church in its place, but we lack the power."
A third voice agreed,"Yeah, I agree. We just don’t have the strength yet."
Jack frowned but said nothing — the truth stung. Then his eyes brightened as he asked,"Luke, how’s the medicine coming along? Can we use it yet?"
In a dark room, a man with black hair and a white coat sat thoughtfully, resting his chin on his hand."Jack, the medicine isn’t ready. It’s still unstable."
Jack clenched his fists, anger boiling within him.

Elarion World – Demon Continent
Inside the towering black spires of the Demon Castle, Krazun stood by a window, feeling the dark energy coursing through his veins. His power, once fractured, was nearly whole again. A smirk crept across his face.
Turning to the figure beside him, he said confidently,"Abyrion, most of my power has returned. The time has come — we can finally conquer this world and merge it with the Demon Realm."
Abyrion, tall and cloaked in shadows, gave a slow nod, a wicked smile playing on his lips."Good. We may not yet be able to challenge the Pantheons... but this world? It’s ripe for the taking."
As the two spoke, a demon soldier stepped into the hall and dropped to one knee.
"My lords, Lady Bellamy has requested an audience with Lord Abyrion."
Abyrion’s smile vanished, replaced with a scowl of annoyance.Krazun chuckled darkly, eyes gleaming with amusement."Oh? Your wife has arrived. Go on, Abyrion — don’t keep her waiting."
Abyrion’s jaw tightened as he shot Krazun a glare, his irritation barely contained.
