Chapter 167. Is your life unbearable?
Chapter 167: 167. Is your life unbearable?
"What could you be scheming so early in the morning?" His voice and his hand that snaked around her body jolted her. "Indeed, you were thinking of something bad again, weren’t you?" He said and. Her eyes widened as she wondered if she had been caught.
"I_ I was just—"
"You were ogling me and thinking, oh my barbaric husband looks remarkable when he’s naked." He chipped in and Neriah’s body flushed a bright crimson. It was crazy how she had gotten used to him teasing her and yet every time he teased her she still found herself flustered and flushed like a little child.
"You are vulgar and you will never change." She hissed but with a soft smile on her lips.
"And you like this vulgar barbaric man, no?" Like? Yeah, like was not such a strong word. It was a simple word that was used to describe a feeling for something that a person enjoys, that a person gains pleasure from, something that pleases a person.
Yes, like wasn’t a strong word, in fact it was the perfect word. She enjoyed being with him indeed, she gained much pleasure from him, that was not a disputed fact. And he pleased her greatly. So yes, she could say she liked him. She never knew she could, but indeed... "Aye, I do."
His eyes, she had never seen them widen so much. He was the one who asked, so why did he seem so shocked by her response? But then again, it was nice to see that he was so surprised. She liked the look as if he had just received an unexpected gift.
His lips were open but no word was coming out so she leaned closer to him and placed a quick sharp kiss there. Like a punch, but with her lips. She stared into his eyes and they were still open wide. Was it really that surprising? That she liked him? She really thought he knew and that was the reason he asked. So why the face? Yet it was really nice to see.
"Neriah," He suddenly said her name causing her to giggle for no reason in particular other than he said her name while still wearing that look on his face.
"Hm?" She hummed.
"If I ask you a question, would you give me a sincere answer?" He asked and she hummed and nodded.
"You once said your life with me was unbearable, Life in Trago is unbearable." Ah, Neriah’s lashes fluttered at the sudden direction the conversation had turned to. Indeed she had said those words at one time. But then, she had no idea she would come to need him the way she did. "Do you still feel the same way now? Do you still think that life with me is unbearable?"
Desperation... That was what she could see on her husband’s face. He was desperate for an answer. He looked like he would die if she did not give him the answer he wanted to hear. And Neriah wondered if it was alright to pour out her heart like this. But the look in his eyes made her open her mouth and the words so true came out.
"By the goddess no." She confessed. His parents were nicer than she would have ever imagined, his brothers were sweet and his sister although they had their issues, they were learning to get along with each other. The second prince who had just returned, she had not had any time to indulge in a deep conversation with him, but he seemed okay too.
The people in the palace treated her well, albeit there were whispers and gossiping, it was only normal. Trago had embraced her and she had embraced Trago.
And more importantly, she had embraced him. And although he could be unbearable sometimes, her life with him in Trago was not an unbearable one. On the contrary, it was one she looked forward to now.
"No, it is not."
"Truth?" He asked.
Her smile brightened, illuminating her face, matching the morning sun that was already high up in the sky, "I do not lie all the time, Your Highness. I also know how to tell the truth." She climbed atop his body and brought herself to a sitting position atop him, straddling his waist, no longer ashamed of the sun exposing her naked body to the eyes of the man.
She slid herself down till her hips met his own and when her fingers found what she searched for, he flinched with a much more surprised look. She had been seeing that look more lately. Maybe because she had been acting rather strangely too.
"Riah what are you—" His voice strained as her fingers grazed the tip of his hardened member.
"Showing you how bearable my life is. I do want you to believe me." She said and she saw his eyes close and his bottom lip go in between his teeth as she lifted her hips and pushed his member into her core. A strained groan escaped his throat at the joining of their bodies.
"Look at me, Barak." She said as she leaned in and kissed his chest, she brought out her tongue and she locked his manly nipple, sucking on it in a manner that he had always sucked hers. When she bit him there, his hand reached up and sank into her hair.
Only the gods know where her boldness came from that morning. But she was unashamed and just wanted to please him somehow.
His eyes opened and golden fire met with green passion, as he yanked at her hair forcing her to lift her head from his chest. She sat up straight and the look in her eyes was that of a pervert.
"Are you—" His words were cut short again as her hand suddenly went behind her, reached for his sac and held gently squeezed, drawing a loud moan from within his lips.
"Do I look like my life is unbearable?"
And indeed, with her back and neck arched, her breasts slapping each other, her hips going up and down his member, taking in all of him and her eyes staring at him and only him, she looked like her life was everything but unbearable. She deeply enjoyed her life. And doing him that morning again was to prove just how sweet her life was.
