The teen gasped as if fire erupted in his wrist. "Hey man, what are you doing!?"

"Instill some gentlemanly manners. Your parents probably forgot to do that child raising course," Mingshen smiled. "Strange. Is it not free anymore that they would skip it?"

"Fuck off! Let go of my wrist!"

Mingshen sighed. "So they not only missed the course that would have taught you to treat a woman right but also how to talk to your elders? Such is the sad state of parenthood these days..."

The teen tried to break out from his grasp but he couldn’t. Mingshen’s grip wasn’t particularly tight, though it felt more loose shackles to him. Mingshen simply smiled at his futile attempts that erupted a sense of foreboding within the teen.

He suddenly got afraid of his smile. Any other adult would have rebuked the hell out of him or raised their voices. But Mingshen’s cool demeanor coupled with his lazy smile was akin to ticking all the alarm bells in his mind. His black eyes inside his mask looked even more evil and terrifying.

Jia sighed and put her hands on his wrist. "It’s fine. Let him go."

"I think I missed the part where he learned his lesson."

"W-what lesson is there to learn here? I was just doing some harmless flirting!"

Mingshen exerted slightly more pressure, making him wheeze in pain.

"Harmless flirting or just an excuse to feel my wife’s bare skin?"

Jia coughed.

"I was just trying to stop her!"

"And you should have gotten the signal ages ago to let her go. Do you know what is the most turn off for a woman? Desperate boys in heat," he sneered.

"Mingshen..."

The teen gritted his teeth. He was afraid but at the same time, Mingshen’s simple presence was driving him insane.

"I am not in heat, you moron! It’s your wife’s fault anyway! If she is going around wearing such a revealing dress and exposing her body, it is obvious that any man would be attracted to her! She is doing it on purpose precisely to seduce me!"

Jia, who was trying to be patient until now, went cold. "So is this the justification you are giving to yourself? Is that really what your parents have taught you?"

When he couldn’t get his hand out of Mingshen’s grasp, he lunged at him with his other hand balling it into a fist. He thought it would take Mingshen by surprise but it merely made him yawn.

He easily dodged it and twisted his arm the next moment. "Aaahhh!"

"Kid, you are still too wet in your pants to be able to even land a scratch on me," Mingshen said bored. "Don’t make me snap your ulna and radius."

He looked back, breathless and confused.

Mingshen smiled. "Elbow dislocation for a simpleton like you."

"Hey, what are you doing to my son!"

A man, seemingly in his early forties, ran towards them. He saw Mingshen twisting his son’s arm and bubbled into a fury. "What the hell are you doing!?"

"Completing the courses which you apparently missed to study."

"What?"

Jia said, "Mingshen, just let him go."

He shrugged and pushed him away harshly. The teen cried with relief but his eyes still burned with humiliation.

"Dad, this man is crazy! He hit me!"

"Aww, so cute complaining like a helpless baby like that," Mingshen laughed.

The teen’s father lashed out. "You are really a maniac! You don’t feel ashamed of acting so violently with a young child!?"

"Very similar to how your young child doesn’t feel ashamed of hitting on my wife and also going as far to feel her up," Mingshen tilted his head.

The teen cried. "He is lying! It was nothing that serious! I was just talking to her casually because she reminded me of Muna..."

"Who the hell is Muna?" Mingshen grimaced.

"She is my favorite game character! What does it have to do with you!" He looked back at his father. "Dad..."

His father glared at Mingshen. "Like he said, it was just harmless-"

Jia cut him off. "I am sorry but if he doesn’t change his ways, what he thinks is harmless won’t remain harmless for a long time. I understand the difference between harmless flirting and toxic behavior and unfortunately, your son falls into the second category."

He scoffed. "Don’t exaggerate so much. My son is only fifteen."

"And riding a rollercoaster with all the puberty hormones in his body. Yeah adolescence is a shitty phase," Mingshen commented. "So get your son under control before he deludes himself to be some horny alpha."

"You...Apologize to my son!"

He sneered. "He needs that pain to remember his limits. And my wife is off limits."

Mingshen then got a buzz on his phone and he narrowed his eyes. He pulled Jia’s arm and said, "Now if you idiotic duo will excuse us, my wife and I have some private stuff to do. Stuff that your horny son was dreaming to do."

Jia - "..."

He pulled her away while the teen’s father continued to scream. But he really didn’t have the guts to physically approach Mingshen. He was too dangerous for anybody sane to be in his vicinity.

The teen sniffled. "My whole arm hurts...!"

His father sighed. "I am sorry, son, that I couldn’t come sooner. Let’s get your arm treated-"

"No. It will be fine," he frowned. "I don’t want to get late to the gathering. It will be starting anytime soon."

"You were looking very happy to use the wife word," Jia arched her brow.

He grinned. "Aren’t we husband and wife?"

"Only for tonight."

"Does that include the bedroom part too~?"

Her lips twitched. "Was the message from your lab?"

He whistled. "See, I told you it wasn’t a biggie. The real location lies just on the other side of the corridor~ it’s a hall named Clover."

"How did the couple know?"

"Take out that invitation card."

Jia blinked for a moment. She took it out from her purse and handed it to him. Mingshen walked near to a wall mounted lamp and raised the card in its light. Jia came closer and narrowed her eyes, recognizing a string of very faint and small-sized alphabets etched on the card.

"It’s printed with a very special ink. You literally have to stick the card into the light to make out the letters," he smiled. "It’s time to get this party started."
