Chapter 346: Chapter 212: Crimson Moon_3
Twenty meters.
Fifteen meters.
Ten meters.
"Why haven’t I seen you before?" Diller slowly began, yet he did not look up, "A height of 6’10" is quite uncommon for a waiter; I should have remembered you."
He lifted his head and looked towards Lang Tai’s direction. The waiter had already lowered his head slightly, his face completely obscured, so Diller scoffed, "Just as I thought."
Then, with a small wave of his hand, a special machine gun with two square barrels popped out from the side of the lab.
"Rat-a-tat-tat—" The machine gun fired without hesitation, the bullets single-shot electric shock bullets, featuring a voltage that could instantaneously paralyze any enemy upon contact.
Diller was actually quite interested in finding out the origin of this guy, so his intention was to capture him alive.
However, when that waiter once again raised his head, Diller changed his mind.
It was the furry face of a wolf with two eyes emanating a sinister crimson light.
With just a flash step, the waiter avoided all the bullets, with even the rotating speed of the machine gun’s barrels unable to keep up with his movements.
His silhouette traced an arc through the lab, a ten-meter arc shadow.
The ten-meter distance Diller had prepared for his own safety vanished in the blink of an eye. His preparedness did not hinder the waiter in the slightest; the electric net from the shock bullets might as well have not existed.
The long shadow arc began to dissipate from its tail, rapidly contracting until it finally converged into the figure in front of Diller—in less than a second, that wolf face had appeared before Diller.
What followed was a massive metal claw.
The entirety of the metal claw was nearly as long as a person, consisting of five sharp triangular spike-like claw blades, with large barbs on the back of the finger joints that matched the claw blades.
In a flash, a specially made square shield popped up in front of Diller, while his body rapidly retreated under the reaction force.
"Crash—" The giant claw sank into the square shield, encountering little resistance.
Lang Tai couldn’t be bothered to pull back his strength and let the giant metal claw pierce through the control console following the momentum; he withdrew the metal claw and didn’t allow Diller, who was pushed back, any time to react, twisting his body to close in again.
When dealing with those of the Research Sequence, one absolutely couldn’t afford to give them breathing space.
Lang Tai’s mind was void of any distractions. He kept sprinting forward, swinging the metal claw in his hand towards Diller.
"Open! Open it all up!" Diller was startled, quickly activating a solid shield made of pure energy before him, but this shield, strong enough to withstand direct artillery fire, did not give him much sense of security.
In just an instant, his half prosthetic side stretched towards the rest of his body, gradually forming a metal close-fitting armor that covered his entire body, and then he raised a small metal shield before him.
The energy shield was his latest research achievement, capable of resisting much damage; the metal armor also helped to cushion the impact, and the small metal shield, made of Black Silver, was exceedingly sturdy—three layers of protection, definitely strong enough!
The giant claw descended.
The moment it touched the energy shield, a strange red light glimmered upon the claw.
The next second, the giant claw tore through the three defenses, sending Diller and his armor flying.
"Cough, cough." He sat up from the ground, constantly coughing up blood, and in shock, he looked at the tall man before him, enveloped in a red glow, exclaiming in astonishment,
"The Crimson Moon!"
