Eva’s words almost made everyone in the room sweat at how nonsensical it was. Likewise, Mineah almost wanted to just shake her head at how stupid it was to fight against the ruling despite all of the overwhelming evidence acting against the woman.

"Is... Is she for real?" Niran dubiously asked. "What more is there to question?"

"It’s desperation," Mineah sighed. "Let her talk. We don’t have to do anything except play our part for all of this to be finally over."

There was nothing Haman could do after all. Even his mother was powerless against the shifting mood around them. Even the most stubborn officials were starting to reason as evidence after evidence piled up against the accused. And the worst part for the defender was that it wasn’t even all there was that they had to throw against him.

"Now, for the most recent case of kidnapping the Queen, let’s call in the witnesses."

Hearing their cue, Mineah went and stood up first as she went to the center of the open courtroom floor. As the main victim, she was the first to state her testimony, and her words held a lot of weight as she gave off a serious air around her. Looking at Nikolai, she gave him an appreciative nod, before making her way to where she was supposed to sit.

"Your Majesty, I understand that you were recently kidnapped," Abel began, his lines obviously rehearsed despite the clear amount of fun the man was having at Haman’s expense. "Would you care to share your witness testimony?"

"Of course," Mineah stated.

She then went ahead and did what she was told. Around her, both officials and the public that went to watch the trial landed their gazes on her as he began to regale them of the events that happened before the trial took place.

As expected, gasps of horror echoed from both sides of the audience as she made sure to get every last detail right for her testimony. She didn’t bother mincing her words, seeing as there was no mercy to be had for the man currently sitting defeated on the chair before her.

"And that is all," she smiled as she stood up. "I hope that justice will be delivered swiftly."

"Thank you, Your Majesty," Abel nodded. "Now would the next witness please come to the stands?"

Mineah simply shrugged as she returned to her seat, content with simply letting the trial continue apace with all of the evidence piling on against Haman. First went Niran, then Teressa, then Diane and Jane as they all confirmed the exact same things that she just said for the sake of the people watching them. And by the time they were done, the entirety of those present was practically raring to go at Haman themselves.

"And with that, the case is all but finished, is it not?" Abel declared with a smug smile. "The evidence is damnably overwhelming, and there is nothing that is unclear that would ever stop justice from being served."

"B-But... Lies!"

Mineah sighed as she heard Eva scream in defiance yet again. Unfortunately, it would seem that there was still one among the audience that didn’t get the situation.

"There’s still no proof that all the evidence and witness testimony actually happened," Eva weakly reasoned. "How can we not know?! I demand a retrial at a further date!"

[I’ve had enough of this woman trying to weasel her son out of his well-deserved punishment,] Nikolai confessed to her through their bond.

[She just doesn’t know when to quit,] She sighed back with a hint of amusement. [Is there anything else you can throw at her that would finally break her will to fight?]

[I do,] Nikolai hummed in thought. [It would be a fitting end for someone that even dared attempt to try and suck your blood.]

Mineah raised an eyebrow at what her husband just said. She had a clue about what he had in mind, but she supposed that she would just have to watch as things unfolded.

"If I may to the few that still do not believe the truth about Haman’s crimes, I suggest you all drink his blood and see for yourselves," Nikolai nonchalantly suggested from where he was leaning. "There are some of you who can see his memories themselves by drinking his blood, so why not confirm it for yourselves?"

Mineah blinked in amusement as she heard the open courtroom lull into yet another round of silence. While they were very much countable on one hand, there were actually a few officials that sided with Eva in defending Haman. Nikolai’s words clearly affected them, and even fewer of them clearly hesitated to go forward and do exactly what her husband suggested.

"Well? The accused is right here," Nikolai casually pointed out with a menacing smirk. "Unless you’re all afraid of knowing the truth, that is."

The tension in the air was palpable as Eva and the other officials seethed from where they stood. The public was watching in rapt attention, and Mineah didn’t know whether to smile or relax as Nikolai commanded the scene with an iron fist.

"Oh, if you’re all afraid of Haman’s Exordium blood poisoning, I’m ordering for his birthright to be stripped from him," Nikolai coldly declared. "To any other Exordium present, do any of you want to have the privilege of doing the deed?"

Mineah watched as Sage of the Wagner Clan, Aunt Alexa, Queen Mother Rania, and Leona of the Braun Clan all perked up at attention regarding Nikolai’s order. It would seem that they were all of the Exordiums currently present, which meant it fell to them to do the deed.

"I’ll do it myself!" Eva quickly offered as she moved to make her way down to the courtroom floor. "As his mother, it is my duty to-"

"I’m afraid I will have to decline that offer, Lady Eva," Nikolai coolly denied. "For Haman’s crimes against the crown, the Rossi Clan is now currently under strict supervision as investigations are being done to make sure that the clan itself is still loyal."

"And besides, it’s against the law for you to do it yourself since you’re his family member," Abel added. "You will have to just watch as someone else does it for you, Lady Eva."
