Chapter 116: Upset

Mineah yawned as soon as her back touched the comfort of her mattress. Letting herself relax, she unknowingly giggled at the thought of Lady Eva still sleeping inside the private room she used in the library hall.

With a small breath, she let herself doze off to sleep as the exhaustion of the day let her drift away... Almost immediately, Mineah found herself dreaming that she was back inside the library hall. However, no one was around this time, and she found herself walking further and saw a familiar staircase going down with vulture statues perched on both sides of the wall.

"I really want to know what’s inside," she hummed as she walked in that direction.

"Mine..."

Mineah stopped and turned around after hearing Nikolai’s familiar words. As usual, he was smiling at her, and she couldn’t help but do the same as he approached her.

"How come you didn’t contact me through the bond?" he asked. "I was waiting for you..."

It was then that she frowned. She was pretty sure she was dreaming. To confirm, she pinched herself, only to not feel the pain she expected. So this truly was nothing more to her other than a dream.

Crossing her arms, she murmured, "Hah, I’m probably so upset with you that you’re even here in my dreams."

"You’re upset with me?" he inquired with those solemn eyes of his. "Why?"

Mineah suddenly felt uneasy as Nikolai quickly closed the remaining gap between them. He then firmly held onto her chin, preventing her from looking away from him.

"What’s wrong?" he questioned once more.

Taking in a short breath, Mineah found herself thinking a bit fanciful for once. ’It’s only a dream, so maybe I should let my frustrations out on this version of him,’ she thought. ’He wouldn’t know about it anyway.’

Her mind made up, Mineah met his intense gaze as she scoffed, "What’s wrong? You left me hanging just a while ago half naked!"

Nikolai blinked at her, and Mineah took that as her opportunity to continue. "What?! What would you feel if I did the same to you? Do you want to try, huh?!"

As if taking her challenge, a mischievous smile carved itself onto his lips as he humored, "Why not?"

Mineah frowned, and yet Nikolai simply ignored her gloomy expression as he smirked at her. The smile on his face remained as he seductively hummed, "We can continue where we left off a while ago, Mine... It’s not even my fault I had to keep you hanging like that."

He further explained himself, "If Eva had caught me, she’ll make a big deal out of it given how her husband is the Minister of Rites."

Once again, Mineah frowned as she now wondered why Nikolai was even explaining himself. Was this the reason she wanted to hear in her dreams? But then, somewhere in the middle of her thoughts, an idea pushed itself through.

With a glint of mischief in her eyes, Mineah grabbed the hand that Nikolai was using on her chin and slowly licked his fingers, gently sucking on it as if it was a piece of candy.

"Mine?!"

Hearing him groan, she was satisfied with the burning desire she saw in his eyes as she looked up. Then, she suddenly stopped, even winking at him as she smirked.

"You..." he protested.

As expected, Nikolai then promptly pulled her closer and started kissing her lips. Despite her desire building up and her body starting to burn with sensations, Mineah managed to keep her focus on her current revenge against her husband.

Well, it was only a dream anyway. It should be fine to torture her husband in her head.

With seductive precision, Mineah used her hands to quickly undress her husband. Then again, she was in a dream, so maybe she could use magic to undress him faster.

Doing just that, she snapped her fingers. From there, Nikolai stood naked before her as their kiss continued. After a while, however, she broke the kiss and simply smiled at him.

"Mine?"

Hearing him hum, she then made him moan as she let her lips land on his neck. She showered his skin with gentle kisses, occasional licks, and subtle suckles as she made her way down. Trailing down his body, she eventually ended up on bended knees as her face leveled itself to his hardness.

Looking up, she saw Nikolai staring intently at her. Not breaking eye contact, she then stuck her tongue out and started licking the tip of his member.

Nikolai muttered a curse under his breath, and she felt how his body trembled at her touch. Going on the offensive, she held onto his hips for support as she continued licking his shaft from the base all the way up to his tip before playfully sucking on his second head.

She smiled at him. "I should wake up from this dream now," she hummed.

And from there... Mineah opened her eyes and blinked at the familiar ceiling of her bedchamber. Getting up from bed, she cupped her burning cheeks as she chuckled and murmured to herself. "It would be nice if I can do that to him in reality and let him get some blue balls!"

She wasn’t really confident that she could do what she just did in her dreams to Nikolai since her body was basically so drawn to her husband that it was moving on its own.

Well, there was practice for a reason.

Meanwhile, Nikolai cursed as he got up on his own bed and walked to his bath area.

"I need a cold bath," he mumbled as he quickly dipped himself inside his bathtub. He was so hard at the moment and it didn’t help that Mineah left him hanging in her dream. He was already nearing his climax when she suddenly stopped and woke up!

"She’s really upset," he chuckled to himself as he started doing the deed himself for his own release. Truly, his wife would be the death of him. This experience was way worse than him just getting hurt in battle!

Letting his imagination take him, Nikolai closed his eyes as he let his mind wander to his alluring and enticing wife.

"Ah... my little swan... Just wait and I’ll make sure you’ll never escape me again like this..." he hummed with a smirk.
