Zhouzhou didn’t speak nor did he ask Ye Wanwan to look again; he seemed puzzled as to why his mother didn’t understand him.

Seeing that her attempt to coax him had failed, Ye Wanwan was slightly disappointed, but she quickly returned to normal.

Ye Wanwan excitedly said to Shen Yi, "Today, Zhouzhou spoke! We saw a flock of sheep on our way, and then Zhouzhou said ’Xiaocao’!"

"Yes, I heard it." Shen Yi looked at the excited smile on Ye Wanwan’s face. He had felt the same excitement when he had heard it during the livestream today.

"You heard it in the livestream, didn’t you?" Ye Wanwan asked.

Ye Wanwan continued, "Today, not only did Zhouzhou speak, but he also played with other children. Although he still played quietly on his own, at least he doesn’t reject other children."

"Yes, I saw that too." He had been streaming for most of the day, watching while processing documents, but he had managed to catch most of it.

He had called Ye Wanwan on video earlier after seeing in the chat that she was about to call him, so he made the call first.

After chatting for a while, Shen Yi said, "It’s getting late; we’ve been busy all day, let’s rest."

Ye Wanwan wasn’t tired; in fact, she was even a bit excited after sharing her joy with Shen Yi, but Zhouzhou was sleepy, and she needed to put Zhouzhou to bed first.

After the video call ended, Ye Wanwan got Zhouzhou to lie down and began telling him a story.

It had only been two minutes into the story when Zhouzhou fell asleep in Ye Wanwan’s arms.

Ye Wanwan continued with the story as she turned off the light, leaving the bathroom light on before lying down as well.

Eventually, Ye Wanwan calmed down and soon fell asleep while holding Zhouzhou.

Over at Shen Yi’s side, it was only after Ye Wanwan and Zhouzhou had fallen asleep and the staff had ended the livestream that he exited automatically.

Ye Wanwan was woken by the alarm clock, and when she awoke, Zhouzhou was already up and sitting at the small coffee table, drawing in his sketchbook.

"Good morning, Zhouzhou," Ye Wanwan quickly got out of bed and took Zhouzhou to wash up.

While they were washing up, they heard the sound of a child crying. The cry could be described as heart-wrenching, and after becoming a mother, it seemed she couldn’t bear to listen to such cries.

Zhouzhou, too, was sensitive to the crying and looked a bit scared upon hearing it.
