Chapter 62: It Must Be Him
"Yes, he did. Helan will enter the same faculty with you. And, we decided to go there two weeks later. So we have a week to explore the city before starting to re-register and enter the dorm." Lizzy was so happy when her parents allowed her to go to the capital earlier than the plan.
"My God, this is good news, Liz... I can’t wait for you to be here. I don’t have friends here. That’s why I miss you guys so much." Allynna said while trying to wash her face in the bathroom. She has to hurry to go outside, afraid Leon will wait for her.
"Yeah... that’s why my dad booked a room for me at Bells Hotel in the Modern District. And you know what? Helan also decided to stay there...." Lizzy pauses when she hears Allynna’s voice is like using a speakerphone. Faintly she also hears the sound of running water, "Ally, why does your voice sound far away? What are you doing?"
"Sorry, I was washing my face... continue speaking, Liz."
"Alright. Even though Helan’s parents own a house in the Royal district, he still decided to stay at some hotel with me. It seems he was worried about letting me stay alone at the hotel. Helan is an excellent friend..." Lizzy laughed.
’That because she likes you, stupid girl!’ She speaks in her mind.
Allynna couldn’t understand how Lizzy never realized that Helan liked her?
Allynna finished washing her face and brushing her teeth quickly. After that, she changed her clothes... "Liz, you guys stay at the Bells Hotel?" It just so happened that the restaurant she visited with Leon a few days ago was at the hotel. "That’s good then...because I will bring you guys to eat at the restaurant on top of the hotel. The venue is fantastic and the food is really delicious...."
"Really? Ally, I can’t wait..." Lizzy giggled. "I heard the restaurant in the hotel is very luxurious. Also, many public figures eat there. But I heard, not just anyone can eat at that restaurant, we must have certain members to be able to enter. Ally, do you have a membership there?" Lizzy asked doubtfully.
Allynna puzzle. She doesn’t have the membership card, but her future husband has it.
Should I ask his card member?
Suddenly she hears a knock on the door. She breathed a sigh of relief because right now she didn’t need to answer Lizzy’s question.
Right away she says goodbye to Lizzy and promises to actively read their new Group Chat and pick up her phone call. After that, she quickly opened the bedroom door with joy.
She was sure the one who knocked on the door was Leon but it wasn’t him. Instantly she feels down.
"Good morning, My Lady...." Lella bowed to her. "Your breakfast is ready," Lella said and pointed towards her new kitchen door.
Allyna frowned.
Why should she eat there, not on the first floor?
She felt another disappointment when she realized that Leon was not waiting for her to have breakfast.
"Lella, will His Highness not have breakfast with me?" She asked calmly, but in her heart, she could feel she was a little annoyed. She didn’t understand why she had this feeling; this feeling appeared several times every time she didn’t see him.
Lella’s body tense when she could sense that Lady Allynna was sad. Carefully she answered, "I’m afraid yes, My Lady. This morning, his highness advised not to wake you up. He said last night you slept late. And he also asked me to prepare your breakfast in the new room."
Hearing Lella’s words made her remember the alarm on her cellphone that suddenly went silent. And the curtains in her room were tightly closed. She remembered clearly, last night she left the curtains open a little so she could see the moon that was shining so brightly.
It must be him... who turned off her cell phone alarm and closed the curtains!
Instantly, a lovely smile appeared on her dainty face realizing Leon did that so she could sleep more.
While Lella, who stood not far from her, could see Lady Allynna smile to make her feel relieved, her lady finally could smile.
"Alright, let’s go..." Allynna said, and she walked to her kitchen.
When she entered the room, Allynna felt like she was still in her house at Sarlun.
"Lella, who prepared this breakfast?" Allynna asked when she saw the breakfast menu neatly arranged on the dining table. Seeing the appearance of the food on the table made her feel so hungry. She immediately sat and started to eat.
"This is cooked by the chef in this castle. Why, my lady? Is the food not to suit your taste?" Lella asked worriedly.
Allynna glances at Lella and smiles before saying, "The chef is very talented. Lella, can I learn how to cook from the chef? You know... I kinda like cooking. That’s why I asked His Highness to make a kitchen for me, and it would be better if someone professional would guide me to cook and bake."
"This..." Lella’s tongue-tie doesn’t know how to answer her. She had to ask Sir Geoffrey first because she had no power to answer that.
Allynna can see through Lella’s gesture that she is now in conflict. She chuckled. "Don’t worry, Lella, I’m just saying... I will talk to His Highness for permission. Well, I will figure it out later." Allynna said and continued her breakfast.
Lella nodded and, now in relief, then stood still again without bothering her to eat.
While she was eating, suddenly her cell phone vibrated, and she saw a text message come in.
[My Fiance Leon] Good morning, Allynna. I’m sorry, I can’t accompany you to breakfast. There’s important business. Be back before dinner.
Allynna smiles, reading the text message, and her heart hisses when she reads the name that says ’My Fiance Leon’. Make her cheeks turn crimson. Quickly her hand types a reply to his text message.
[Allynna] Morning, brother Leon. It’s ok. I’m having my breakfast now. Good luck with what you are doing now. See you soon.
After sending a short message to Leon, she didn’t immediately continue her breakfast. Still, she smiled happily while reading short messages from him. She felt her heart warm...
