Chapter 61: You Are The Only One
Leon chuckled when he saw her face turn pale.
"Are you afraid to meet him?" He asks her. Allynna nods, unable to speak. "Don’t worry too much. My grandpa is so kind. He will like you...."
"Brother, did he know about our relationship?" She was worried about meeting his family. Worry if they find out about their weird relationship, they will be against it.
"He already knows. I told him..."
Allynna’s eyes are wide open in disbelief. Did he tell his grandpa about their relationship?
"Why do you look so surprised? You know I’m serious with you, right?" He looked at her so sharply that Allynna couldn’t see him. She quickly turned her gaze looking down, then slowly nodded in response to his question.
A playful smile appeared on Leon’s handsome face before he continued, "So it’s only natural that I tell my grandfather. And soon, I will also tell my mother that I already met my future wife." Leon silently laughed when he saw her blush and hid her face by looking at her hands. "Lately, every time I see my mother, she gives me a headache. She wants to immediately set me up with a noble girl she knows. You are my savior, and of course, I will introduce you to her soon... so, she will stop thinking about that."
Leon could only hold his laugh to hear her wild thoughts. This girl is so funny.
"Allynna, look at me in the eyes...." He said. Allynna slowly lifted her head, and when their eyes met, Leon said to her, "From the start, I said to you... you are the only woman for me. So, never think I will change my mind and look for a more beautiful bride out there or accept my parents’ choice of a lady who has a noble title. No, I will never do that. Don’t waste your time to imagine all of that rubbish...you are the only woman for me in this life."
Allynna froze in place, and suddenly she forgot how to speak and breathe.
"And Allynna... you can breathe now." Leon quickly gave orders when he saw Alynna frozen until she forgot to breathe. How adorable she is.
Allynna recovered her senses. She immediately breathed and tried to calm her heart and mind.
"Do you understand what I’m telling you?" Allynna nodes were unable to say anything. "Now go to sleep. The sun will rise soon. For tomorrow, we will cancel our plan to see the sunrise..." He stood up and vanished from her room.
For a few minutes, Allynna still sat frozen in her place, staring at the empty sofa in front of her. What Leon had said to her just now made her really happy. So happy until she couldn’t use her brain correctly. She was mesmerized by his words.
After she could control herself again, she glanced at the clock on her bedside table. It’s almost 4 a.m. She agreed with Leon, they should cancel their plans to see the sunrise.
She yawned a few times, and once her head touched the soft pillow, she fell asleep in no time.
The next day.
Allynna woke up when she heard the sound of her cell phone vibrating nonstop. She tried to open her eyelids, but her eyes were difficult to open as if it was glued. With her eyes still closed, she tried to get out of bed. She squinted her eyes and hobbled toward the table. She’s cursing whoever is calling her this early morning. The worst is that she has just fallen asleep.
"Hello?" With her hoarse voice, she picked up the phone call without seeing who was calling her.
"My Lord... Ally, where have you been?" Scream Lizzy from the other end. Making Allynna, who was still half-conscious and closed her eyes, instantly jolted out. She sat straight when she heard her best friend’s voice... "I tried to call you a few days ago, but your cellphone is off. What happened to you, Ally?" Her voice sounded so worried and made Allynna feel bad, making her friend worry like this.
She couldn’t answer Lizzy right now because her mind wasn’t working correctly. After a moment of silence, she finally could speak... "Liz, why are you calling me this early in the morning?"
"Young Lady Allynna Frost... I’m sure the capital is only one hour different from Sarlun’s time. It’s already 10 a.m. in Sarlun, and I’m sure in the capital it must be 9 a.m., right? Wow, I was surprised how quickly you changed, my dear friend. Now you can wake up after the sun starts to rise?" She didn’t expect her best friend to be so lazy since she arrived at the capital. In Sarlun, before her parents die, she always wakes up early in the morning. She does exercise every morning, running in the forest behind her house.
Huh? Is it 9 a.m.? Why is her room still dim? Allynna was confused. She looked at the window and saw the curtains were tightly closed. She quickly stood and walked to the window and opened the curtains. Suddenly the light from outside came in to illuminate her dim room.
She was stunned. How could she wake up this late? Did the alarm she set last night go off?
"Hello Lady Allynna, my friend, are you still there?"
Allynna hears Lizzy ask her again.
"Lizz, my friend, sorry. I lost my old cell phone. I just got a new cell phone last night... and I text you right away, right?" She didn’t want Lizzy to ask any further questions about her new cell phone. Worried that she would terrorize her again if she found out, she got the latest cell phone from Leon.
"How could your cell phone be lost once you get there? Allynna, you should be more careful, huh! Capital is so scary...." Lizzy said. Mel almost laughed at hearing her so worried. Liz continued, "If you want to walk around the city, don’t go alone. Wait for me and Helan to arrive, then we can go together."
"Huh? Did Helan decide to enter the Bells Royal University?"
