The Bride Of Immortal Crown Prince -
Chapter 52: I Found Her
Chapter 52: I Found Her
Leovaris, who now stands near a pond on his island, froze at his grandson’s question. "Crown Prince, why did you suddenly ask about this?"
"Grandpa, I’m in a hurry. Can you just tell me?" He wanted to see the girl. But now he can’t because his mind focuses on communicating with his Grandpa.
"Yes, there’s a light envelope all over your body...." Leon’s heart tightens hearing that. "A golden light, like your eyes. And, the weird thing is, you don’t seem to feel anything, you just sleep like a baby... you are different from anyone. Even your father didn’t experience that. That’s why...." Leovaris suddenly stopped his words.
"What is it, Grandpa?"
"Do you still remember your missing fiancé?"
Leon was shocked why his grandfather suddenly asked about Allynna?
"Yes, I remember. Why?" Leon asks.
"When your missing fiance was born, a strong light had also enveloped her. If I’m not mistaken, and I never was, she was enveloped by silver light. And there was a strong power around her at the time. Her light is the same as you when you experience your transition. If only the girl doesn’t disappear, maybe now she has grown into a beautiful girl, and her powers will also appear..." Leon could hear his grandpa’s sadness over there.
Loevaris continued, "You know? I’m curious about her... how could someone born with the strong power and light envelope her? This is the biggest mystery that I wanted to know...I hope someday I will meet her again."
Leon is in a dilemma now. Did he need to tell his grandfather that he had found his missing fiancee, Allynna?
"Grandson? Why are you silent? Did you hear what I’m talking about now?"
Leon decides to tell his grandpa about Allynna. He thought his grandfather would not tell anyone else. And he was so powerful, no one on this earth could beat him, let alone read his mind. Leon also couldn’t read his Grandpa’s mind. Even though his ability had reached the immortal level.
"Grandpa, I hear you. And you know what, actually, I’ve found her!"
"You found her? You found your missing fiance?" Leovaris was shocked.
"Hmm... I found her, grandpa..."
"Let me see her..." His eyes lifted up, and his curiosity arose. He wanted to see the girl.
"Grandpa, I will bring her to meet you soon... but not now. And please keep this a secret from everyone including her family because I’m investigating who kidnapped him. Until I find out who did it, her life is still in danger." Leon’s voice sounded serious, making Leovaris agree with what his grandson said.
"Well, now, she is in the middle of her transition time. I can say I was shocked to see what happened to her now, during the transition. That’s why I contacted you. Alright, grandpa, I have to go now... I will come to you with her soon." Leon then opened his eyes and at that instant, the telepathic connection was disconnected.
"What happened, My Lord? Why did the Crown Prince all of a sudden contact you?" The man standing near Leovaris asked him.
Leovaris did not reply to him, but he was gently stroking his long white beard. His golden eyes shone like he saw a mountain of gold in front of him, and his heart was pounding with happiness after the good news he had just heard. The grand old man has never been this happy in a long time.
After a few minutes immersed in his own thoughts, he turned his body and walked to his house.
"Ralph, prepare yourself... We’re going to the mainland soon." He said and left Ralph standing in his place in shock. Ralph could only watch his master disappear behind the door.
Leaving this island after all these years? What made him finally want to go to the mainland? Ralph was confused but only for a second because now he ran after his Lord to the house.
At Crown Prince Castle.
Leon opened his eyes, and the communication with his grandfather ended. He sat on the sofa in Allynna’s room, and his eyes narrowed looking at her, which was still wrapped in silver light. Not for a second did he take his eyes off Allynna.
After two days of waiting,
Allynna was still enveloped in that silver light. There was no sign of her waking up. Leon started to get worried. He wishes she should be awake today. In his past experience, when in transition, he was unconscious for two whole days.
"Your highness..." Leon heard Geoffrey calling him from outside. He took a deep sigh before leaving Allynna’s bedroom.
Ever since Allynna had a long sleep, Leon always had lunch on the second floor. He didn’t dare to leave her for too long. The only time Leon left her bedroom was when eating or going to the bathroom. These past two days, he has slept and worked all in Allynna’s room.
"Your highness... How is Lady Allynna doing? I hope the Young Lady is alright. Is she, Your Highness?" Geoffrey politely asks Leon, with genuine concern for Allynna’s well-being. He knew, now, she was experiencing her transition period.
For the past two days, Geoffrey had been worried about Lady Allynna’s condition. He even couldn’t sleep well.
"Nothing has changed. It’s still the same as yesterday..." Leon replied. His eyes flashed a glimpse of worry.
"Should we call a healer on standby, Your highness? I truly worried tonight something terrifying would happen to her..." Geoffrey knew how painful it was when a person went through a transition period.
Because Geoffrey remembers his own experience of it. He was in tremendous pain for the entire transition time. He felt every bone in his body was crushed. And his lower dantian felt so hot it felt like fire was burning the area. He couldn’t move because he was exhausted. He also couldn’t speak because his voice had run out from screaming too long. And after a few hours of torment, his tears dried from crying too long.
The pain suffocated him for three days. And when he entered on the fourth day, he couldn’t stand the pain anymore. He passed out and was unconscious for a few days. When he woke up, he felt his body was crushed. He lost all his strength like there was an invisible hole sucking his power.
This made Geoffrey tremendously worried the same was happening to Lady Allynna’s small body. Imagining that tiny girl having to pass this ordeal makes him waver. He wanted to see her condition, but the crown prince wouldn’t let anyone into her bedroom. The Prince even sealed the room so that no sound coming in or going out could be heard by others.
"Don’t bother, Geoffrey. I can handle it on my own." Leon suddenly said to a freezing Geoffrey.
