The Bride Of Immortal Crown Prince
Chapter 51: Sleeping Angel

Chapter 51: Sleeping Angel

"Now, go clean yourself and get some sleep. It’s already past midnight. And Allynna, you have to tell me if you feel any changes happen to you. No matter how small the change..." He said.

Allynna just nods.

She walks to her bedroom and straight to enter her bathroom. Now she was standing in front of the mirror. When she saw her current state, she was shocked. Her face was blushing, and her eyes were shining.

"Is this one of the changes that should be reported to brother Leon?" She murmurs while touching her cheeks.

After some time, she washed her face. Immediately changed her clothes with her comfortable white nightgown. Then she lay on her bed, trying to not think about what just happened and get some sleep.

On the third floor of Leon’s Study room.

Leon was standing right by the window, looking down at the dark lake below. He tried to control his heart which had been unable to regularly beat since he hugged Allynna.

Allynna, this girl, caused his heart like this. Is this a sign that he’s starting to fall for her?

He can’t find the answer.

This strange feeling made him feel like a fool as his brain couldn’t find the answer to his question at all. He felt lost.

"Sebastian..." In a low and icy voice, he called out to someone.

Instantly a tall, burly man with short white hair appeared a few steps behind him... "Your Highness..." he said with her head lowered down slightly.

Leon is still standing in his place. Without turning back to see him, he said, "For the next few days, clear my schedule. I am going to stay and not leave the castle at all times. And let others know about my plan..." He ordered.

"Your wish is my command, your highness," Sebastian said, then disappeared from the room.

A few minutes later, Leon returned to his bedroom. He decided to clean up and change into his comfortable clothes. He feels he needs a sound sleep to make his mind work properly.

Lay on his bed and tried to sleep, but his mind was busy imagining the girl. Allynna’s face appeared like a video clip repeatedly playing in his mind. Her voice and scent rang beautifully and spread flagrantly to his ears and in his nose. As if the girl was lying next to him. Making him harder to sleep.

This is the first time Leon wants to keep away his own thoughts and sense of a specific person. But sadly, he can’t erase it, even with the utmost effort. He took a deep sigh and woke up again.

Leon sat on the couch while opening the thick book that was on the table. He tries to divert his mind by reading a book.

When he reads a page, he suddenly hears Allynna’s sigh calling his name. Instantly he vanishes from the bedroom and appears right beside her bed.

He saw Allynna’s body shrouded in silver light in the area around her lower and middle dantian. It wasn’t long before her entire body was enveloped in silver light, and the pressure of an invisible force made him stumble backward.

His brow furrowed when he saw the light and felt the invisible power that pushed him away from Allynna. It was the first time he had seen someone experiencing something like this during the transition period. Leon smiles bitterly, thinking many things have happened for the first time just tonight, and the night is still pretty much young. He wonders what’s next.

Suddenly something jolts him. What is this? Leon closed his eyes and tried to read her mind, but he found nothing. His mind is unable to enter Allynna’s at all. "Damn it! Another first time!" Leon whispered.

After a few minutes, he opened his eyes, and the silver light that enveloped Allynna grew brighter. He could feel how terrifyingly great the power that shielded her was.

He took a few steps forward to get a better look at her illuminated face. Leon worried that Allynna was in so much pain. But to his surprise, Allynna’s face looked tranquil with her eyes closed, and her lips smiled a bit. There is no sign of her being in pain, only a little pale. Looks like she was deep in her sleep. She was so quiet, asleep like an angel.

He was dumbfounded with what he saw now. He has never seen someone in Allynna’s current state.

Why is Allynna’s transition period different from the others? Leon was now confused by what he was witnessing.

Was there really anyone in this empire like her?

Instantly his mind remembers his Grandpa and his eyes wide open realize something.

His grandfather once told him that when Allynna was born, a bright light radiated from her. His Grandpa could sense the power coming from her, and somehow at the same time, he also had the same energy of power as newborn Allynna. Like they are connected with that light.

Am I like her too during this transitional period? He never knew what happened to him during the transition. Because he was unconscious for two days. And his grandfather, who was with him at that time, never said anything to him. He never asked about it either.

Seeing what Allynna is going through now made him regret not asking his grandfather about it in great detail.

He glanced outside, and the sun started to appear. He closed his eyes and tried to talk with his Grandpa through his mind.

"Grandpa... are you awake?"

After a few seconds of waiting, Leon finally can hear his Grandpa’s hoarse, deep voice... "Crown prince? What is it? Why did you call Grandpa so early? Something happened to you?" Leovaris, the former emperor, felt worried to hear his grandson.

"I’m fine. I just want to ask you about transition time... I remember you said I was unconscious for two days. Was there a light coming out of my body at that time? And am I in pain or experiencing something strange?" Leon asks.
