The Bride Of Immortal Crown Prince
Chapter 36: Goodbye Sarlun

Chapter 36: Goodbye Sarlun

From afar, she saw the black sedan Geoffrey usually drives parked on the side of the road. She jogged towards the car. As she approached the vehicle, she saw Geoffrey getting out of the car and opening the door for her.

"My Lady..." Geoffrey greeted her.

When Allynna was about to get into the car, she was surprised to see Sir Leon sitting in the back seat. She was so shocked that she forgot to lift her legs and just stared at the man she had wanted to see since yesterday suddenly come to pick her up. She felt like there were butterflies in her stomach. Her heart trembled, and her mind blank.

"Miss Allynna.... Are you waiting for anything? If not, please get in." Allynna snapped out when she heard Sir Leon’s voice rang in her ear. She immediately got in and sat in her seat. Her face was looking ahead on the road in front.

She was so nervous that she was afraid to move even a bit. She was scared of disturbing Sir Leon, who was currently closing his eyes. It’s like he’s sleeping. But he’s not.

She looked out the window and was shocked to realize that the road they were on did not lead to the mansion. But to the airport. She was taken aback. This morning she had not packed at all. She also hadn’t told Sir Leon about her intention to take Lella to follow her to the capital city, Mavaria.

Has he read my message? And what about my suitcase?

Allynna looked at him again, but Sir Leon’s eyes were still tightly closed. He seemed to have fallen asleep. She saw Geoffrey, who sat in front wanting to ask him, but before she asked, she heard Sir Leon say...

"Don’t worry about anything..." His voice sounded hoarse. It makes Allynna quickly look at him.

She quietly resigned to her seat when she saw him still closed his eyes as if he avoided talking to her. With her barely voice, she said, "Alright." Then the image of Lella flashes through her mind. She tries to communicate with Sir Leon through her mind, she asks him...

’Sir Leon, How about Lella? Have you allowed her to come with me and follow me to Mavaria?’ She stared at his sleeping face and wanted to catch a slight reaction. But no response from him.

She knew it. Sir Leon only responded if her curiosity and question were significant. If not, he completely ignores her. After a minute, she gave up her hope that Sir Leon would answer her. She looked outside the window.

At the moment, she had mixed feelings. She felt happy and excited because she was about to start her new life in a new place, a new city. A much more prominent area with a lot more people than she ever knew. In a new home, with Sir Leon. But deep down beneath it, she felt sad to leave the place where she grew up. She spent her entire life on this Island. All the people she had ever known lived on the Island.

One thing is for sure, she will never forget the beauty of this Island. She also will never forget the many beautiful memories etched in her mind. The memories she has with her adoptive parents on this Island. The people who had loved and cared for her with true love and sincerity until their last dying breath.

She also learned many things on this Island that has made her what she is. The life lessons that she got from her parents and friends. This is also where her close friends live. Although she didn’t have many close friends, only Lizzy and Helan, their existence is so meaningful in her life. Both of them have made her happy and grateful. Allynna couldn’t even begin to imagine life without Lizzy and Helan. Yet, she’s about to embark on an adventure where her friends will not be there for her.

Her eyes are blurry at the thought of these happy memories. When she felt tears escaping from her eyes, she immediately wiped them and murmured in her heart... "I promise, I will come back again...someday! And I pray it will come soon."

Not long after, their car entered the airport area. But the car doesn’t stop in the regular parking lot. The car continues to drive towards the restricted area. They stopped at the gate for an inspection. After which, the car started moving again and entered the runway area. A few minutes later, the vehicle stopped near a white jet. There was a gold crown emblem on the rear wing.

Allynna was surprised when she saw the emblem that looked familiar. As far as she knew, only the crown prince was allowed to wear the symbol. Her body tightened when she realized the similarity between Sir Leon’s name with Crown Prince Eleon.

She also began to remember that the people around Sir Leon seemed to have great respect for him. All the workers in the mansion didn’t dare to look at his face, which made Ally confused when she first saw their attitude towards him. And what also made her even more suspicious was Uncle Pearcy, a respected person in Sarlun also bowed to him.

Yes. Sir Leon must be the Crown Prince Eleon!

She was really sure her theory was correct. Suddenly an idea appeared in her mind. She stares at her. She looked at Sir Leon, who was still tightly closing his eyes. Through her mind, she asked him... ’Sir Leon, are you really Crown Prince Eleon?’

Sir Leon didn’t move, but Ally was sure what her guess was correct, and she knew for sure, Sir Leon could hear what she thought. She patiently waited without turning her eyes from him.

However, for almost a few minutes, he didn’t open his eyes or say anything either. Allyna’s shoulders drop for disappointment. She sighs silently and turns her gaze again, looking outside. She felt lost.
