When Leon stands between Allynna and Grandpa at that moment, their eye contact is broken.

Allynna can move her body. She was utterly surprised to see Leon standing right before her. She could hear his angry thoughts and was instantly shocked. Without thinking, she quickly grabbed Leon’s hand and pulled it gently trying to persuade him not to be angry.

"Leon! It’s ok... I’m fine. I don’t feel hurt anymore." Allynna communicated with him through his mind.

Leon snapped out when Allynna’s cold hand touched his arm. He looked back and showed her worry-looking eyes instantly his anger subsided a little.

Allynna continued her words when she saw Leon look back at her, "Leon, Grandpa will not harm me. Believe him, he will never do that to me..."

She feels happy because Leon protects her well but afraid at the same time because he is willing to clash with his Grandpa just because of her.

"A-Allynna... my love, are you alright?" Leon asked worriedly. At this moment, his mind and heart still can’t be calm. He was so angry with his Grandpa. Just a moment ago, when he heard Allynna in pain, he felt like his blood was boiling. It felt like he wanted to vent his anger by hitting someone.

"My Grandson Eleon, I’m your Grandpa... Why do you think I will harm your beloved fiance, Allynna?" Leovaris raised his brow, looking displeased with his only grandson’s reaction. "Allynna is also my granddaughter. How could I harm her?" Leovaris waved his hand and instantly froze Leon’s body.

Leon feels even more fuming when he can’t move his body. He can only move his eyes, looking at his Grandpa. Luckily, his mind is still working fine and under his total control.

"Grandpa! What are you doing? Don’t joke with me, or I’ll lose my temper!" Leon scolded his Grandpa in anger.

Aolis, confused for a while, used this opportunity to calm his son, who was so irritated that it made his face look so dark.

Leovaris’ calm eyes look at Allynna. He smiles at her before saying, "Alright! You can go now to check her condition. I will wait for you here...." He sits again on his chair before he releases his grandson. "My Lovely grandson, bring Allynna to meet your mother." His voice was calm and gentle.

Soon Leon and Allynna arrive inside the castle.

They went straight to Clavelina’s private room.

"Allynna..." Clavelina, chatting with one of the maids, immediately stood up when she saw Allynna and her son enter the room. "I thought you would come yesterday. I have ordered a lot of delicious food for you..." She smiled and took Allynna’s hand.

Leon chuckled, looking at his mother, completely ignoring him. She just looked and warmly greeted Allynna.

"Mama, I’m also here..." Leon said, then walked to the sofa and seat, looking at the two women he loved the most. They laughed at him, making Leon couldn’t help but chuckle.

"Well, I didn’t say hello to you on purpose, my dear son! Who told you not to bring my daughter-in-law yesterday?"

Hearing Clavelina’s thoughts, Allynna felt guilty. Because of yesterday’s kidnapping incident, Leon canceled their visit to come here.

"Aunty... actually, yesterday I couldn’t come here. It just so happens that there was suddenly urgent business on my campus. Please don’t blame Leon..."

Clavelina looked at Allynna with her sweet smile, "Daughter-in-law, don’t defend him. He’ll get used to it..." She laughed and sat on the sofa with Allynna beside her.

"Did something happen, my love?" Leon, sitting on his knees in front of his mother, saw Allynna beside his mother.

She still felt how tense she had been. If she had been late, the poison might have spread and killed Clavelina. Leon’s face hardened at Allynna’s explanation.

"This is all because of Grandpa. He is wasting our time..." Leon’s voice still sounded annoyed.

After checking Clavelia’s condition, the two returned to the castle’s backyard.

There was only Leovaris seating in the pavilion near the lake. While Aolis was nowhere to be seen, neither was Ralph, who usually had been standing not far from the pavilion.

"Grandpa... where’s my father?" Leon asked as they sat down with Leovaris.

"They’re going to court." Leovaris replies to Leon, then looks at Allynna, "Your father just visited the Palace to report...shall we go to your space now?"

"My father?" Allynna was surprised to hear. Was there something important that brought her father to court to see the Emperor?

"Your father reports regularly. There’s nothing for you to worry about...." Allynna seemed relieved to hear that. "Shall we go now, Allynna?" Leovaris is standing from his seat. He couldn’t wait to prove what he was thinking.

He can’t believe that Pinky could make the medicine with other ingredients. Someone must have taught her. And if what he thought was true, then that person was someone he probably knew very well, his missing wife, Eudora Snow.

Just imagining this made his mind feel hurt, and his heart couldn’t calm down. He must visit Allynna’s space soon. He will find the answer when he arrives there.

"Grandpa... can I come along?" Leon was also standing from his seat. He looked at his Grandpa. He wanted to see Allynna’s mind-space, but until now, Allynna had not been able to bring him in.
