Lizzy can calm her mind a few seconds later after feeling very disappointed in Allynna’s decision not to join lunch with them.

She looks again at Allynna before saying, "Alright, Ally! It’s Okay. But only because I love you and you are my best friend..." Said Lizzy with a smile and a quick glance to Helan.

Then she continues, "Whatever you do, make sure not to forget to eat your lunch, okay?" Lizzy knew her best friend always forgot to eat when she was focused on doing something. She was worried about seeing Ally being so busy these days and worried she would fall sick.

After Lizzy saw Allynna and Ikaris’ car leave the parking lot, she turned her gaze to Helan standing beside her. It was clear from the look in her eyes that she was sad.

"Helan!" Helan looked at Lizzy, "I think our Ally is starting to change..."

"Huh!? What do you mean, Liz?" Helan was confused with Lizzy’s words.

"Well, I can feel it. Lately, Ally doesn’t seem to be able to linger with us... Does she not want to be friends with us anymore, just because she knows CP!?" She took a deep sigh while starting to walk to the function hall.

Helan followed her immediately and walked beside her, "Liz! How could you say that? Ally is not a friend like you think. She will never change. She is still the Ally we know on the island of Sarlun. Stop overthinking..." Helan glanced at Lizzy, he could see her face now calm, but her eyes told otherwise.

"Liz, let’s go eat first. You still have class after lunch, right?"

Lizzy nods and follows Helan to the refectory area.

When they reached the refectory area for ordinary students, Helan ordered their food. At the same time, Lizzy looked for a place to eat. After she found a table near the window. She just stared at the lake outside with mixed feelings.

Today she somehow felt a little bit down. And when she wanted to talk to her best friend, Ally, she couldn’t. When they were in Sarlun, Ally always gave her advice. When Helan returned to the table that Lizzy had chosen, he immediately placed all the food he ordered on the table. Then his eyes looked at Lizzy, who had been silent for a long time. She didn’t even see him at all. It made Helan feel even sadder because Lizzy always avoided him when they were the two. She rarely started to speak to him when it wasn’t necessary.

"Lizzy!" Helan couldn’t hold himself to ask why she was acting a bit weird.

Lizzy was surprised when she realized Helan already sat opposite, and their food was neatly arranged on the table. Her eyes were staring at him, and she was stunned when she looked into his eyes. His eyes were different from what she was used to seeing.

"H-Helan...what is it?"

Helan put the cutlery set he already had in his hand back on the table before saying,

"Liz, it’s not Ally who’s changed. But you! Lately, you’ve been avoiding me..." Lizzy was taken aback by Helan’s words. She frowned.

"Every time I asked you out, you always refused me. Every time I approach you to the dorm, you’re always not there. Now tell me, Liz, why lately you avoid me if Ally isn’t with us?" Helan’s voice was calm, but inside him it was like there was a storm ruining his heart.

"H-Helan! I never try to avoid you...."

Why do you change like this?" Helan paused for a moment, trying to compose the correct words to not push Lizzy further away from him.

He continued, "Deep down in my heart, I feel the Lizzy in front of me is different from the Lizzy I have known since childhood in Sarlun. All this time, you always annoy me. You even treat me like an aide. But now..." Helan clenched his fists under the table, trying to hold himself so as not to say unnecessary things that are already on the tip of his tongue.

"Helan this..." Her eyes blink several times to see him. Then she slowly lowered her head, trying to avoid Helan’s sharp gaze. She knows what exactly Helan is saying at this point. Indeed she avoided him. She tried not to be alone with him.

As they started eating, Helan explained why Allynna had to go home first. Lizzy, who heard Helan’s explanation, slowly raised her head to look at him.

"YOU! Helan, you want to move out from the dorm!?" Lizzy’s voice sounded shocked when she heard Helan’s words. She suddenly felt her chest hurt at the thought of Helan no longer living next to her dorm. Even though she’s been avoiding him lately, she doesn’t want to live far away from him
