The Bride Of Immortal Crown Prince
Chapter 194: To Move or Not To Move

Chapter 194: To Move or Not To Move

Lizzy can calm her mind a few seconds later after feeling very disappointed in Allynna’s decision not to join lunch with them.

She looks again at Allynna before saying, "Alright, Ally! It’s Okay. But only because I love you and you are my best friend..." Said Lizzy with a smile and a quick glance to Helan.

Then she continues, "Whatever you do, make sure not to forget to eat your lunch, okay?" Lizzy knew her best friend always forgot to eat when she was focused on doing something. She was worried about seeing Ally being so busy these days and worried she would fall sick.

After Lizzy saw Allynna and Ikaris’ car leave the parking lot, she turned her gaze to Helan standing beside her. It was clear from the look in her eyes that she was sad.

"Helan!" Helan looked at Lizzy, "I think our Ally is starting to change..."

"Huh!? What do you mean, Liz?" Helan was confused with Lizzy’s words.

"Well, I can feel it. Lately, Ally doesn’t seem to be able to linger with us... Does she not want to be friends with us anymore, just because she knows CP!?" She took a deep sigh while starting to walk to the function hall.

Helan followed her immediately and walked beside her, "Liz! How could you say that? Ally is not a friend like you think. She will never change. She is still the Ally we know on the island of Sarlun. Stop overthinking..." Helan glanced at Lizzy, he could see her face now calm, but her eyes told otherwise.

"Liz, let’s go eat first. You still have class after lunch, right?"

Lizzy nods and follows Helan to the refectory area.

When they reached the refectory area for ordinary students, Helan ordered their food. At the same time, Lizzy looked for a place to eat. After she found a table near the window. She just stared at the lake outside with mixed feelings.

Today she somehow felt a little bit down. And when she wanted to talk to her best friend, Ally, she couldn’t. When they were in Sarlun, Ally always gave her advice. Or to help her find a solution to her problem whenever she had a problem or concern. But now? Just to have lunch together, Ally always didn’t have time.

A few times, Lizzy took a deep breath trying to make her heart and mind a little bit calmer.

When Helan returned to the table that Lizzy had chosen, he immediately placed all the food he ordered on the table. Then his eyes looked at Lizzy, who had been silent for a long time. She didn’t even see him at all. It made Helan feel even sadder because Lizzy always avoided him when they were the two. She rarely started to speak to him when it wasn’t necessary.

"Lizzy!" Helan couldn’t hold himself to ask why she was acting a bit weird.

Lizzy was surprised when she realized Helan already sat opposite, and their food was neatly arranged on the table. Her eyes were staring at him, and she was stunned when she looked into his eyes. His eyes were different from what she was used to seeing.

"H-Helan...what is it?"

Helan put the cutlery set he already had in his hand back on the table before saying,

"Liz, it’s not Ally who’s changed. But you! Lately, you’ve been avoiding me..." Lizzy was taken aback by Helan’s words. She frowned.

"Every time I asked you out, you always refused me. Every time I approach you to the dorm, you’re always not there. Now tell me, Liz, why lately you avoid me if Ally isn’t with us?" Helan’s voice was calm, but inside him it was like there was a storm ruining his heart.

"H-Helan! I never try to avoid you...."

"You did, Liz! Even now. Since we sat here, not once did you start to talk to me and look at me? Your body is in front of me, but your mind and heart are not. What’s up, Liz? Why do you change like this?" Helan paused for a moment, trying to compose the correct words to not push Lizzy further away from him.

He continued, "Deep down in my heart, I feel the Lizzy in front of me is different from the Lizzy I have known since childhood in Sarlun. All this time, you always annoy me. You even treat me like an aide. But now..." Helan clenched his fists under the table, trying to hold himself so as not to say unnecessary things that are already on the tip of his tongue.

"Helan this..." Her eyes blink several times to see him. Then she slowly lowered her head, trying to avoid Helan’s sharp gaze. She knows what exactly Helan is saying at this point. Indeed she avoided him. She tried not to be alone with him.

Seeing Lizzy unable to answer his question. Helan could only take a deep breath.

"Liz, I like you... I like the Lizzy I knew when we were in Sarlun. Cheerful Lizzy, who loves shopping. She likes to eat at restaurants and treats me like her bodyguard and even likes to make fun of me. I don’t care if you do all that to me, Liz...."

Lizzy’s eyes blurry when she hears Helan’s words. But how could she tell him the reason why she avoided him? She can’t! Not Now...

Seeing Lizzy still lower her head made Helan’s heart sting.

"Fine! If you can’t answer me. I will not ask you again... now, eat your lunch." Helan gives her a cutlery set. He waited for a while until finally, Lizzy took the cutlery set from his hand and started eating her lunch without raising her head.

As they started eating, Helan explained why Allynna had to go home first. Lizzy, who heard Helan’s explanation, slowly raised her head to look at him.

"She also said, we must cultivate our innate talent diligently. Because we will lose our prime time if we don’t...." Helan explained to her.

"I do cultivate. But, in the dorm, it’s difficult to do it regularly. There’s no source of pure energy here..." Lizzy agreed with what Allynna said.

"That’s why Ally suggested that we move into my family’s villa..." Carefully Helan invited Lizzy to live with him in his parents’ villa.

Helan’s heart tightened, afraid that Lizzy would reject him right away. What’s more, lately, she seems to be starting to change. He was too scared to tell her what was in his heart. To tell Lizzy that he liked her as a woman not as a friend; afraid Lizzy would reject him and avoid him. He would rather be friends forever than have to lose the woman he loves from his life.

"YOU! Helan, you want to move out from the dorm!?" Lizzy’s voice sounded shocked when she heard Helan’s words. She suddenly felt her chest hurt at the thought of Helan no longer living next to her dorm. Even though she’s been avoiding him lately, she doesn’t want to live far away from him

"Yes! So that I can be cultivated. This is important to me. But, I don’t want to leave you alone here. That’s why I want you to move with me...." Helan’s calm eyes look at her shock looking-eyes.

Lizzy is utterly shocked when she hears Helan ask her to move in with him in his family villa.

Is Helan serious about what he said?

"Helan..." Now she is confused about whether to stay in the dorm without Helan or move in with him.
