The Bride Of Immortal Crown Prince -
Chapter 139: Deep Secret
Chapter 139: Deep Secret
Although Allynna does not yet have a bond and a beautiful memory with her father, she feels sympathy for him. She didn’t want Leon to disagree with her parents.
But on the other hand, she also understands why Leon’s anger exploded when he found out her parents wanted to take her back to the Moon Family House. It’s because she was kidnapped at that house when she was a baby.
Leon once told her that he was suspicious of the person in the Moon Family House, working with the mastermind behind the kidnapper. Because it is impossible to enter and kidnap a baby from a high-ranking military man’s house unless someone inside helps.
Leon glanced at the girl beside him when they reached the stairs, "I will. But promise me, you will never agree to move back to that house. If something happens again with you, I could not imagine what would happen to me. I can’t live without you Allynna, you should know that..." Leon said as he tried to calm his heart and mind, which was currently on the verge of exploding. The thought of Allynna returning to her parents’ house made him utterly mad.
"I will not! I love you, Prince Eleon...you know that, right? I will never leave you...." Allynna tries to calm him.
Instantly Leon feels so happy when he hears the girl express her love to him. He raises his hand, places it on her shoulder, and pulls her close to him. They walk side by side to the living room with their faces framed with a smile.
Meanwhile, the members of the Moon Family, who were still in shock at Leon’s words, immediately followed them out of the room. They were at a loss for words because what Prince Leon said was spot on.
Felix felt like someone had stabbed his heart with a thousand daggers. It hurt to hear Leon say his daughter was missing from his own house. He has not found the perpetrator. This fact until now made him feel like a useless person. How can someone succeed in kidnapping his child right in front of his nose? It’s like an insult to him. And he could never defend himself on this fact. Never!
Soon they all gathered in the spacious living room.
Allynna and Leon sat far away from the Moon Family. Leon purposely separated Allynna from them to let them know that he didn’t want his girl to return to the Moon Family House. Not today!
The warm room had now turned cold and felt a little eerie. Making Leovaris and Flint Moon couldn’t help but take deep breaths seeing their children and grandchildren stare at each other, but neither spoke.
Everyone knew what had happened upstairs because Leovaris had told them all.
Leovaris agreed with his grandson. Right now, Allynna’s safety was paramount. She must not return to the Moon Family Main House because the kidnapper has not been found.
Clavelina, who had been silent for a long time, couldn’t stand the sight of the atmosphere in this room becoming increasingly tense. She must do something, like coaxing her stubborn son.
"Son, can you hear our explanation first?" She knows her son’s temper. When he says NO, that is what will happen. It is his nature to be tough to compromise with other people, especially when it comes to the people he cares about, like his fiance, Allynna.
"Mama, you may say it...." Instantly the look in Leon’s eyes that had been sharp turned gentle when he saw his mother.
"My Son, I know you want to protect Allynna’s safety, but can you also think about her reputation as a noble lady?" Clavelina tried to explain simply so that her stubborn son could understand quickly. Leon frowns with his mother’s words, but he remains silent.
Clavelina continued, "You must marry her before living together, right? Now your status is only engaged. General Moon doesn’t forbid you to meet her. Still, it’s best if you don’t live together until you are officially married..."
Everyone in the room agreed with Clavelina. They nodded and looked at Leon, waiting for his response.
"Let’s get married then...." Leon said calmly.
"Prince Eleon, My daughter is only seventeen years old." Felix sighed.
Leon does not reply to Felix’s words. Instead, he laughs and sees his grandpa sharply. All of them in the room were confused by his reaction, including Allynna.
After a moment, Leon said, "Grandpa, who created the rule of getting married at 18 years old?"
"Me!"
"Why do you do that?" Leon still sharply looks at his grandpa’s eyes.
Leovaris speechless. This stubborn Prince, why does he ask?
"Grandpa, I know the reason. Don’t lie to me... I could read Grandpa Moon’s mind. So I know why you make that new rule when our elders can get married when their abilities are active at seventeen years old. Why did you change that rule?" Leon’s words shocked everyone in the room. Except for Leovaris and Flint Moon, they were both dumbfounded.
"Hahaha, my grandson... indeed is the smarter one in our family, huh! We can’t hide anything from him." Leovaris burst out laughing because he didn’t know what to do anymore. He sent a sharp glance at Flint to scold him because he was not mastering how to protect his mind yet! Damn it!
"My friend Leovaris, you are right. We can’t hide anything from Prince Eleon..." Old Moon could only shake his head before he continued his words, "Now, how do we solve this problem?" Flint felt guilty that the deep secret he had kept for years could be discovered by Prince Eleon just like that.
"Father, is there any other way for them to get married sooner?" Ask Felix Moon. He did not refuse his daughter to marry young. But he was only worried that if people out there knew Prince and his daughter living together without getting married, her daughter’s reputation would be tarnished. He couldn’t let that happen.
Before Flint wants to answer his son, Leovaris speaks first, "Indeed. And very simple...." Leovaris murmured. Then he turned his gaze toward the Emperor on his left side.
