Chapter 104: Recognized

After walking for a few minutes, they finally arrived at an old but still-looking sturdy building. The building looks ancient, but there is a modern touch on some sides of the building.

Allynna could see from afar many students lined up to register. But she didn’t see Helan there. She stopped her step near the garden in front of the building and found a bench to sit on.

She tried to call Helan and Lizzy to ask about their current position. But they did not answer her phone call. After a few tries, she finally decided to just wait. She sat on the bench looking at her cell phone, trying to check a few news updates. While Ikaris just stood near her, discreetly looking around the Tech Building.

"My Lady, isn’t that your best friend?" Ikaris said after a few moments, they waited.

Slowly Allynna raises her head and looks in the direction of Ikaris point. From afar, she could see Helan and Lizzy walk to them. Allynna immediately stood up. She chuckled to see them dragging their big suitcases with difficulty. After switching off her face changer device, Allynna walked toward them.

"Why are you guys bringing your suitcase now?" Allynna asks right away while walking by their side. She thought her friend would only check out tomorrow.

"Allynna!" shouts Lizzy and Helan together. They were screaming in surprise and excitement to see her.

"Today is our last day to admit to the dorm. So we better check out now. And you, young lady, will you live elsewhere?" Lizzy asked, confused. She didn’t see Allynna and Ikaris carrying their suitcases.

"Liz! Behave yourself. Did you forget Lady Allynna’s status now? We’re lucky we don’t have to bow to her every time." Helan said in a serious tone but with a comical-looking face. It made Lizzy suddenly startled to realize Helan’s meaning. "How could someone as important as our beloved best friend stay at the dorm?" Helan laughed. When he saw Allynna glare at him with sharp eyes, he immediately shut his mouth, afraid Ally would scold him.

"A-Ally... I’m just kidding, alright! Don’t be too serious. And don’t tell the prince, please...." He grinned at her and walked to the tech Building leaving the three of them.

Allynna speechless. How could he just run away like that?

Lizzy laughs, seeing Helan run away, "Ally, after Helan registers, you guys must accompany me to the Science faculty, alright?" Allynna nods. "After that, we will go to my dorm. We can go to lunch later. Earlier, I saw a lot of cool restaurants that we must visit on the main road in front of our campus...." Lizzy said excitedly.

Suddenly, Allynna says, "By the way, Lizzy, would you mind if I switch on my face changer device? I have switched it off, and I feel Ikaris here wouldn’t be happy if I switched it off too long. Right Ikaris?" Allynna said it while looking at Ikaris. "And the name of the place is Royal Avenue..." Allynna continues. Lizzy, caught by surprise with Allynna’s many information, could do nothing but immediately nod in agreement with her.

Having been aware of face-changing Technology, Lizzy immediately set her mind to focus on the one thing she always likes. She had heard of the place from the gossip news she was watching. She really wanted to visit that place, but she was stuck in the Modern District every time she went to the capital.

Allynna smiles at Lizzy, who looks so enthusiastic. She said, "Sure, we will go there. I really want to take you to eat there too. When Helan and I came here for Olimpia Math, we didn’t have time to stop at Royal Avenue because our time was so occupied with the event."

Allynna also wanted to go to that place because it was a shopping and culinary center in the royal district. Completely different from the business road in the Modern District.

The Modern District is full of tall buildings and the noise of vehicles and people passing by. While on Royal Avenue, all the buildings look beautiful with ancient architecture and many beautiful spacious gardens. Just walking and enjoying the scenery will make her happy. What’s more, having to eat in a restaurant while enjoying the green view will make her feel calm and relaxed.

"Yay! That’s good. I have always wanted to go shopping. Buy some fashion brands that only open shops on Royal Avenue....They must have some on-sale items, right?" Lizzy’s eyes lit up at the thought of shopping for nice clothes. Allynna just chuckled. Her best friend is a stylist, she likes things like that. Meanwhile, her? She wasn’t like that thing.

Allynna is more fond of gadgets than fashion. After all, her parents weren’t like Lizzy’s parents, who had a lot of money and spoiled her. But for Allynna, since childhood, she has been accustomed to being frugal, forming her character early. She did not like spending much money on such things.

Just before Allynna and Lizzy want to sit on a park bench, a man with short curly dark blonde hair approaches. He looks so dashing with his casual outfit. A pair of blue jeans and a white shirt complete with a blue navy long coat. He looks like a supermodel with his towering body and carefree aura.

They both were confused and looked around to make sure there were only the two of them with Ikaris in the garden near the bench. That means the man is smiling at them.

Lizzy is mesmerized by the man’s beauty. Was he one of the rising stars in the entertainment industry at Empire? Why had she never seen him in a TV drama or movie?

Allynna felt something strange when she saw the man. She felt as if she had known him before. He looked very familiar, but at the same time, she didn’t feel like she knew him at all. This is weird. After a few seconds of looking at him, instantly, she felt goosebumps. She had experienced this feeling the first time she saw Brother Xavier. How could she think that way again with this man?

While Allynna was confused. Ikaris’ face turned stiff when he saw the man approach them.
