"She was with you at the gala, why the hell did you leave her there? Is that being responsible?" Frank barked and then held his chest as he struggled to catch his breath. But Elisa didn’t spare him a glance.

She was silent for a moment. She recalled Claudia asking her to leave so that she had something to do. She said she would call her chauffeur and Elisa left with her friends. Who knew her daughter would end up like this?

Elisa wiped her tears. She had almost lost her Claudia today because of her negligence.

The supposed Gala have been a failure for both she and Claudia if only she hadn’t left her daughter alone after the Gala.

"Our daughter lost a child, Frank, she was pregnant and she lost the child according to the doctor, whoever did this to her must pay with their life," Elisa said.

Frank was as shocked as Elisa had been. They both had no idea Claudia was pregnant, she would have bore the first grandchild of both the Blackwoods and Hamilton’s. Who has done this to them?

"Do the Hamiltons know about this?" Frank asked his wife and she shook her head. They aren’t even aware that Claudia is in the hospital.

"No," Elisa said calmly. The Hamiltons were the last people she wanted to know about Claudia’s predicament but it was at their party that she had been hurt.

"Who found her in this state, that person must know what happened." Frank’s said again barely able to catch his breath as he adjusted on his chair.

"It was an anonymous number that called, and we’re still trying to know who it is." Elisa suspects the person may have saved her daughter or even inflicted this pain on her.

"She’ll be fine." Frank placed his hands on his wife’s shoulder. Elisa sat next to Claudia on the bed holding her arms, while Frank sat on a chair next to the bed, both people waiting patiently for the girl to wake up.

After hours of waiting, Elisa felt her daughter’s hands move. She froze, maybe she’s over thinking, maybe she’s dreaming. She was still contemplating when her hands moved again.

"Frank, she just moved." She whispered staring at Claudia. With the help of his third leg, Frank forced himself out of his chair and walked towards the bed his daughter lay on.

Claudia squinted her eyes, fluttering her lashes as she calmly opened her eyes. "Mum." She called immediately with tears in her eyes and Elisa cried after hugging her daughter. She had no idea what she would have done if Claudia had died from whatever that person had done to her.

Her face was badly bruised, almost to an unrecognizable state.

"Sweetheart you’re okay," Elisa said calmly, still hugging her. "You’re safe my dear, I should have never left you when you asked." She said.

"Then she would have killed us both," Claudia said calmly. She had seen something else in Harlow’s eyes when she beat her, something beyond dangerous. The Harlow she saw last night, is not the sister she remembers. She was strange, thinking of her again made Claudia shudder.

"What are you talking about?" Elisa asked with a frown. "Who did this to you, Claudia? Who stole the love of my grandchild?" Claudia stared at her mother.

"G... grandchild?"

Was she pregnant? But how she hadn’t noticed anything different from her body. She frowned. Harlow had killed her child in the process of their fight. Harlow will pay.

"You were pregnant Claudia, so now you know why it is important you tell us who tried to harm you." Elisa pestered her more. She wanted to know who had dared touch her child and killed her grandchild, she would make sure whoever it was paid for whatever they had done.

Immediately, Claudia burst into tears, "I... I only wanted to tell her congratulations... And... and that I’m sorry for ru... ruining the night for her." She started sobbing between her sentences.

"Who did it, Claudia?" Elisa asked again the ing impatient. If who she suspects is true, then she would rain hell upon her today. Her little love pet will not save her this time. Not even Frank can save her.

"Harlow," Claudia said. If she cannot kill that bitch, then she would get someone else to do it for her.

Elisa turned to Frank, "Don’t get involved this time, that witch almost killed my child, it’s time to teach her some lessons.

The weather was bright and lovely as Harlow stood by their balcony enjoying the view of the rising sun while her hubby was seated beside her as he read through a few news outlets and sipped coffee.

To Alanis, the view of the rising sun was nothing compared to the beauty before him. He had demanded they see the sunrise together while they waited for the Blackwoods to arrive.

While Alanis said he was about to go save his wife, he did go to save her when he saw Claudia try to stab her. He wanted to intervene but saw that Harlow could handle herself. He hadn’t known how strong this woman was till last night when he saw her beat her sister.

He was the anonymous number that called Elisa to come pick her dying daughter up. Alanis sighed, this woman was really a pain in the ass.

Both people were still enjoying the view when "I’m back... Hahahahahah!! A man stepped out of a black car as he walked around the estate kissing the floor and lifting his hands around.

Harlow frowned at the sight of him. She recognized who he was at first glance, George Hamilton. He was finally back into the estate. She dragged her eyes from him, his return was none of her business until he goes out of line as usual.

"George!" Garth stepped out of her Villa to see her son outside.

"Yes Mother, my punishment is over and I am back." He remarked. Back to deal with Alanis and the foolish thing he calls a wife.

"Oh my, this calls for celebration," Garth said side eying the two people seated by their balcony.

"My view is ruined," Harlow said stepping inside and Alanis followed suit.

While the couple left, Jane stepped out of Garth’s Villa, "Ma’am, there’s an urgent call from Madam Blackwood." She said hurriedly and Garth hurried in to answer the call quickly.

"Elisa dear."

"Where’s Harlow?" Elisa asked.

"In her Villa, why?"

"Don’t let her leave, I’m coming there now." She hung up. Garth wondered why the woman sounded that way, but she turned to her maid.

"Assemble all of the maids, no one is allowed to let Harlow leave this mansion no matter what."
