Claudia has specifically sketched a dress from the future. This pattern of dress wouldn’t be out until three years. She should be the talk of the day, but everyone still admired Harlow’s plain blue dress.

In truth, Harlow’s dress was more beautiful. Claudia hadn’t even seen this style before, not in their past or now. No one had ever made this pattern of dress before which made her wonder if Harlow had reincarnated too.

Why was she suddenly smarter than her in this life? But if Harlow had really reincarnated, she would have at least reacted the day Claudia confessed to her. Claudia had deliberately confessed to finding out if Harlow had reincarnated too.

"No wonder Alanis Hamilton chose her, she looks so beautiful." One woman said admiring Harlow as Claudia walked through, the bitter taste of jealousy coated her tongue as she listened to them.

"Indeed. She’s truly a beauty." The other woman said.

"We should go over a day hi to her. I’m sure she’s nice too."

Claudia’s fists tightened. The jealousy burned through her veins like fire. It wasn’t fair. She was supposed to be the one standing next to Alanis, not Harlow.

"Don’t bother, she’s not what you think she is." Claudia suddenly said to the woman. She’d never let them say anything good about her sister.

"What do you mean." The hazel eyes woman asked staring at the girl.

"Aren’t you Claudia Blackwood, Harlow’s elder sister?" The next woman asked.

"How can you bash your sister like that? Hmph!" The hazel-eyed woman suddenly said frowning at the girl. Now she believes she rumors about Claudia Blackwood, she is truly heartless.

"So unmannered and heartless." The next woman commented.

"Listen here ladies, if you know who you’re talking to, you will be careful with your accusations." Claudia threatened and started walking away. She had no idea how her intentions of ruining Harlow’s name again backfired.

On the other side of the room, Garth Hamilton, Alanis’s mother, struggled to maintain her polite smile. A woman next to her beamed as she gushed over Harlow.

"Oh, Garth, you must feel like the luckiest mother in the world! Having such a beautiful and kind daughter-in-law."

Garth forced a smile through clenched teeth. Beautiful? Kind? She huffed silently. If only they knew the type of woman Harlow Blackwood was. A useless and uncouth girl, so unreasonable.

"I wish I had a daughter-in-law like her." The woman continued

Garth tried to control herself from lashing out and telling everyone to stop praising her monstrous daughter-in-law. Harlow was the opposite of what everyone thought she was. Garth has no idea why Alanis has chosen to end her life like this.

The grin on her daughter-in-law’s face made her blood boil even more. She just wanted to crush Harlow with her bare hands. If she had the power, she would definitely throw the girl out of their family for good.

Beside Garth was Elisa who sipped her wine, her sharp eyes never leaving Harlow. She had spent years trying to push that girl into irrelevance, yet here she was, standing at the top as if she were born for it. Elisa despised it.

She searched for her daughter only to find her walking towards Harlow. Claudia moved with elegance toward her step-sister, she would need to prove to everyone today that Harlow was the evil one. How dare Harlow have the finest outfit for the night.

How dare she steal the heart of the guest?

How dare they praise Harlow instead of her?

"... Thank you very much for attending the party," Charlotte said to the woman and was about to move to the next guest with her daughter-in-law. As Harlow moved with Charlotte, she heard a loud tear coming from her dress.

She turned around to see what had happened only to be baptized with wine. Claudia had acted clumsy again and had emptied her glass of wine on her sister’s dress. She has had enough of the praising. Harlow does not deserve any of the praise she is getting.

Gasp filled the air as everyone turned to the scene with wide eyes.

"I’m so sorry Harlow, I didn’t mean to ruin your day." Claudia started crying like a pitiful child. She hadn’t only spilled the wine on Harlow’s dress but she had torn the back of it, ruining the dress to an unrepairable state.

They were at the city hall, a place far from home where Harlow couldn’t change into anything. Right now, she had not only ruined Harlow’s dress but the party too. The Harlow she knows would be too embarrassed to continue the party and she would return home.

Or, the new Harlow would slap her proving to everyone she was vile and evil and that Claudia is the good one. Elisa smiled as she watched what was before her. This was the only entertaining thing of the night and she was more than ready to defend her daughter’s nuisance behavior.

"Harlow please forgive your sister." Claudia held the hem of Harlow’s ruined dress as she begged her.

"It’s alright Claudia. I know you didn’t do it." Harlow squats to her level placing her hands on her sister’s cheek tenderly, shocking Claudia, Garth, and Elisa.

"Please go back to partying everyone. Don’t mind my sister, she could be a little clumsy at times." Harlow said gently. She knew something like this would happen, but she would never give her sister a chance to ruin her night.

Alanis stepped forward quickly to wrap his coat around his wife’s body. "Let’s get you cleaned." He said as he led her out of the hall.

"How clumsy..." A guest whispered to another seeming displeased by Claudia’s attitude. She had just ruined their time speaking to Harlow, the new CEO of Hamilton Corp.

"I say she did it on purpose because her sister is the one the Hamiltons chose." Another woman said.

"If desperate was a person." The next person remarked as they all frowned at Claudia.
