Charlotte listened to the two women closely but judging by the past, she didn’t want to believe everything they said. She knew their tricks so well that she would never fall for their tricks again. Though Harlow has been acting differently recently, something tells her this woman was setting her granddaughter-in-law again.

"Harlow, did you do it?" She asked wanting to hear her granddaughter-in-law’s side of the story.

"Grandma, are you calling mother a liar? Are you believing a stranger’s words over ours?" Lia asked infuriated by her grandmother’s action. How dare Charlotte do this to them?

She has no right to question their sincerity.

"I didn’t ask you to speak Lia. I have heard your side of the story, now let me hear Harlow’s." Charlotte cut her granddaughter off.

"I can’t believe you mother, you dare embarrass me before this thing." Garth barked. "I stepped out of the Villa and saw Harlow attacking my daughter. She had called the guards here to throw her out of her father’s house."

"How dare a stranger try to chase a member of this family out of the Villa?" She yelled this time. She was done enduring the insults from everyone in this family. She would never let them bully her or her children anymore.

"Harlow is a member of this family Garth. She’s married to Alanis." Charlotte said. "Lia on the other hand is not a member of the family until she’s served her punishment," Charlotte added.

"Punishment or not, Lia is your granddaughter, how dare you choose this girl over her?" Garth cried out seeming fed up by her mother-in-law’s attitude.

"Grandma, I really did nothing to her, she attacked me first." Lia cried out. "Just this once Grandma, can’t you just believe me this once."

"I am disappointed in you Mother. Mark this day, so that when your family turns their back on you, you will not speak about it." Charlotte smiled. As if she needs their love. Garth and her children are pests, they have nothing to add to her life.

But one thing Charlotte knows for sure is that Harlow on the other hand would give her beautiful great-grandkids. She hoped in all, she would get to see her great-grandson again. Her baby Alex.

"Can I hear your side of the story now Harlow?" Charlotte turned to her granddaughter-in-law.

Harlow raised her dress, showing off her injured ankle and Lia’s eyes went wide. "That day I stepped out of your Villa Grandma, she did this to me." She confessed.

"That’s not true. You bitch, I will kill you for lying against me." She launched at Harlow and was about to grab her hair but Harlow pushed her aside. Her big body got nothing on her, she knew Lia could never match her when it came to fighting.

She had good training as a child for self-defense. Frank had put his two daughters through the classes when they were little for self-defense. He knew he wouldn’t always be there to protect them.

Most times, no matter how rich you can be, your money might fail. Securities might fail, but your skills will never fail you.

"How dare you try to hurt me." She used her purse to hit Lia’s cheek harshly and Garth’s eyes went wide.

"Did you forget your place already?" Harlow hit her over and over again. Lia’s cheek had turned so red already, tears brimming in her eyes. Fighting is one skill people didn’t know Harlow had because she has always tried to be ladylike to please everyone.

But right now she didn’t care anymore. She will deal with anyone who messed with her.

Lia held her cheeks, "Grandma." She cried out.

"Did you see what she did to me?" Her hair looked a mess, cheeks already swollen from the assault.

"Shut up!" Harlow barked. "I let your bad attitude go the last time but not anymore. It is in the household laws that an outsider cannot hurt a member of the Hamilton family." She said and turned to Charlotte.

"Am I wrong Grandma?" Charlotte shook her head immediately agreeing with her granddaughter-in-law. Garth on the other hand just stood there shocked and unable to speak.

"Then why the hell would this stranger hurt me before everyone?" She asked.

"Lia’s a member of this family." Garth barked.

"She’s not until her punishment is over," Harlow responded. She has let them speak and lie about her, it was her turn to deal with them.

"Grandma, Lia’s a threat to me, she has hurt me before and I will not allow it again. She has to leave this Villa, that’s the only way I can feel safe." She declared.

Lia had no idea things would get this way, she had no idea Harlow would do this to her. If she knew a thing like this was in the rule book she would have never gotten close to her sister-in-law until her punishment.

She had been happy her mystery would soon be over only for it to increase again. She couldn’t go out in the street looking like this, she would never leave this estate in this state.

"Guards!!" Harlow yelled and Garth rushed towards Charlotte. She couldn’t let her daughter live in the street. Lia had nowhere to go, and she couldn’t help her daughter because that would be her leaving this Villa too.

Harlow had come into her family and turned everything upside down. She had destroyed their once peaceful home.

"Mother don’t do this, don’t let her do this to Lia." Garth cried out. She couldn’t go against the rules, no one could except the one in charge of the rules.

The guards quickly grabbed Lia’s hands, yanking her out of the estate.

"Mother please don’t let them take me away." Lia cried out, struggling to break free from their hold.

When Charlotte said nothing to Garth, she rushed towards Harlow. "Harlow please don’t do this to Lia, please forgive her, she didn’t know what she was doing." She cried.

If anyone would tell her that one day she would be found begging this girl here, she would never believe it.

"Wait." Harlow suddenly said to the guards and they stopped. Garth’s eyes suddenly brightened.

"Strip her of everything belonging to the Hamiltons before throwing her out."
