Lia couldn’t believe her sister in laws words. Did Harlow rely mean what she said, was she about to increase her punishment?

There’s just no way she’s staying out here any longer. "You have no right to do anything, who says you’re a Hamilton?" Lia retorted. She refuses to be bullied by this bitch.

"First, I am married to your brother..."

"Lies!" Lia barked. "Did you forget brother Alanis and you got a divorce?" Harlow smiled.

"Did we really do that? Was there any written document?" She asked. For all she remembers, she never got to see the divorce papers sent to Alanis ever again, because he had refused to divorce her.

Lia was short of words, she had no idea what to think. Harlow and Alanis had wedded, and even if Harlow demanded a divorce, they never saw the divorce agreement.

"You wouldn’t dare add to my punishment Harlow. You don’t have a death wish." She threatened, but her threat didn’t seem to move Harlow a bit.

"First you hurt a Hamilton with a stone and now, you threatened to hurt me. Oh Lia." She clicked her tongue continuously, shaking her head gently.

"I thought you knew better," Harlow said. Even if she hadn’t read the entire rule book, she had read a few of it and the rules were clear. "Maybe I should send you out of the Villa. That way you will learn a little." Harlow placed her index finger on her lips, as if in a deep thought, taunting Lia even more.

She enjoyed doing this. For people who had killed her, she hadn’t even done enough.

"You wouldn’t dare Harlow!" Lia barked.

"Oh watch me. You’re a threat to my life and need to leave immediately." Harlow said. "Guards!" She called but at the same time, Garth stepped out of her Villa.

"What’s going on here?" She asked. She had overheard her daughter’s voice from her Villa and decided to see what was happening to her girl. She should have helped Lia a long time ago, but that would put her in a grave situation.

She would be kicked out of the Villa till whenever it sees please for Charlotte to let her go. Times like these are when she thinks the old woman needs to die.

"She’s a threat to my life and that of the Hamilton and I want her thrown out." Harlow simply said.

"What nonsense are you spewing this time?" Garth barked at her daughter-in-law. It’s enough that Alanis has given the company head to her. At this rate she knows he would give all of his inheritance to Harlow, then what would they beefy with?

"I’m extending Lia’s punishment by throwing her out of the mansion," Harlow said flatly.

"You would do no such thing." Garth barked. She hated this girl more than anything, more than even her mother-in-law. If it were up to her, Alanis would have never married her.

"Rule no 34." Harlow started. "No family member can help the cast out or punished, but a family member can extend their punishment if they like." Harlow smiled victoriously. The rule book is the best thing that has happened to her.

How come she never saw this rule book in the past?

It was because Charlotte had removed the rules and let her grandchildren live freely, but it seems that action alone had caused the death of her grandson.

"You wouldn’t dare Harlow. You don’t want to incur my wrath." Harlow smiled at the challenge. Challenges like this are what she loved.

"Oh watch me incur that wrath, Garth." She said. "Lia is a peasant and should serve her punishment outside the estate," Harlow said casually.

"I won’t do that," Lia said. She would never embarrass herself that way. Staying out of the Hamilton Villa with no place to go, would ruin her.

"Guards!" Harlow yelled.

"Do not tempt me, Harlow. You don’t know what I’m capable of." Harlow only smiled. Of course, she did. This woman here had ended her in the past. She was the one who asked that stupid doctor to kill her even though she survived.

"I know what you’re capable of, but do you know what I’m capable of?" Harlow shot back.

"What’s going on here?" Charlotte walked towards them her third leg clicking against the concrete floor harshly as she hurried towards them. Elisa had told her about her granddaughter-in-law in a serious brawl with the mother and daughter duo and coming in now, it seems to be true.

There were a few of the Hamilton Guards around them and she wondered why they were there.

Charlotte had decided to intervene, she would never let the deed of the last happen again.

"Grandma." Lia walked to her side grabbing the side of her dress the moment she saw the woman. She forced her tears, seeming so pitiful.

"I was out here alone when I saw Harlow step out of the Villa. I decided to greet her but she slapped me the very next moment and threatened to extend my punishment." Lia started and Harlow only watched her lie from the side.

"Mother heard the scream and came to my rescue, but Harlow threatened to hit her too if she said a thing." Lia continued in the lie.

In the past, due to how rebellious and desperate Harlow was, everyone would believe this lie. Lia would even call Alanis and he would scold her too.

"Harlow’s nuisance behavior is getting out of hand Mother. For how long are we going to keep enduring her nonsense?" Garth was the one to speak this time.

"I’ve never seen any woman from a reputable family as callous as her." She accused pointing her finger at the girl who had said nothing to them.

"Just a few days ago, she had hurt her step-sister because she’s jealous of her relationship with Alanis and George, and now she wants to hurt my daughter too?" Garth turned to Charlotte.

"I can take anything in this life, but not someone trying to hurt my child. Harlow must pay for everything she has done to Lia." She concluded.

Lia who was standing beside her mother smiled. She told this bitch she was going to get her, there’s no getting out of this now.

"You better kneel and apologize, then I might think of forgiving you." She mouthed to Harlow, smiling like a soldier who had just won a battle.
