One fine afternoon, as Harlow walked through the Villa, she came across an interesting room. Her favorite place in her past life. A place where she brought her imagination to life.
A place she had enjoyed the most playing with Alex. It was his favorite place to be whenever he wasn’t with Grandma Hamilton.
She smiled, in the past, both she and Alex would sit here together, painting. He used to have his little wooden chair in a corner and before the day was over, he had bathe all the colours of paint. Alex loved painting his father. All he ever wished for was a little time with the man.
"Mummy, look what I painted." He would run to her with his work. Though the images were skeletal, they still had meaning.
"This is daddy, and mummy, and grandma, and me. Hahahaha."
"It’s beautiful Alex." Harlow would say.
"Mummy when will daddy return, does he not love me anymore?"
.
"Miss Harlow, the drink you asked for," Ava announced as she stepped inside the room. She knew it was only a matter of time before her young miss found this beautiful place.
"What drink?" Harlow asked with a frown. Everything in this life reminds her so much of her son. It reminds her so much of how Alanis had been so cruel to them.
"You asked me to get you something cold to drink, just minutes ago," Ava explained. She has noticed how absent-minded Harlow has been lately and she wondered why.
"Place it on the table." Harlow sighed. She couldn’t take out her anger on her maid. Ava had done nothing to her.
She closed the door gently beside her and stepped fully inside the room. There were a few useless paintings on the wall which she imagined to come from Alanis or his siblings.
"It’s been so long since you painted Miss Harlow, are you sure you still know how to?" Ava asked staring at her miss. While growing up, she had watched Harlow paint a lot, and her favorite paint used to be Alanis, till she stopped.
"We’ll have to find out." Harlow walked towards the many brushes placed on a table. She wiggled her fingers in the air as she selected a particular brush. She smiled.
She walked to the paint and added a few colors on the board. She walked towards the wooden canvas. She smiled, picking the selected color as she followed her heart.
Harlow started moving the brush against the Canvas, adding different colors to that painting and when she was done, she was amazed at her work.
Ava who had been eagerly waiting frowned slightly, "A little master Alanis?" She was flabbergasted. Her miss Harlow always spoke I’ll of that man, yet, he is all there is in her mind?
"Nope," Harlow said with a smile. "This is Alex, my son." She smiled. Here she thought she would never have any image of what her baby used to look like.
"Your son?" Ava stated at her miss. Ever since she arrived here she has been so weird. "Miss Harlow, you haven’t given birth yet, you just got married. Even if you and Master Alanis have..." She paused staring at her young miss.
"D... done a few things together." She stuttered.
"Nothing happened Ava." Harlow smiled. "But it still wouldn’t change the fact that this baby here is my son. My Alex, I’ve missed him so much." Ava stated warily at her madam, have she gone mad?
Is her Miss Harlow going crazy?

During the time of evening, someone visited the Hamilton’s estate and went straight to Garth’s Villa. In his hands was a message for Garth and the entire Hamilton household.
"Madam Garth." He greeted when he stepped inside her mansion. Jane who was seated beside her madam quickly stepped aside to serve the special guest that had arrived. Garth knew he was a messenger of Frank Blackwood because he had been here a few times to deliver gifts sent to her by Elisa. But what had no idea about was that his arrival was because of her son.
George had been kicked out of their household for good. And was now being forced to take responsibility for whatever he had done to Claudia.
"I’m Henry, Mr Blackwood’s messenger," Henry announced and Garth smiled, staring at the package in his hands. Rather than the usual box or bags of gifts, the man held a letter.
’Are the Blackwoods throwing any important party or event?’ She wondered. If so, she was glad, Elisa still wanted to invite her after everything.
Garth couldn’t bring herself to tell the woman Alanis had taken his wife back and they are now living together.
"What message do you have to deliver to me?" Garth asked excitedly.
"My master and madam asked me to give this to you." He handed the letter to her with a bow. "They said you should treat their letter with urgency." He added and started walking away.
"What is that?" Jane rushed in with a tray of drinks in her hands only to see her madam with an envelope.
"I don’t know, a letter from the Blackwoods," Garth said opening it. She wondered what information Frank and Elisa had for her that they couldn’t discuss on the phone. Why use the old method?
Garth could only home and pray her son was okay. She suddenly turned tensed, wondering if this was about George.
"What does it say?" Jane asked when she saw her madam glace through the letter. She also saw Garth’s face turn from nervous red to ghastly pale.
"Are you alright madam?" Jane asked worriedly this time. She was scared it wasn’t any bad news.
"The Blackwoods have asked for George’s hands in marriage." She said.
"Did they say the reason why?" Jane asked.
"No. They just want my son married to Claudia Blackwood." Garth said. This couldn’t be all of the information, could it?
Surely, Claudia cannot just take a liking to her son like that. She is obsessed with Alanis. Unless that girl is planning something stupid.
Elisa and Frank decided to keep whatever happened between George and Claudia to themselves. Such information shouldn’t be released before it gets into the wrong hands.
