"Do you want to end up like your mother? Do you want to end up like me? To be in a marriage with no respect? To be the lowest in the family?" Elisa yelled.

Elisa has suffered for so long to let her daughter go through the same fate. She had been ridiculed and insulted as the mistress of the family.

Marrying the useless son of the family was no different than being a mistress to the heir. She didn’t understand why her daughter would decide to be so foolish. Everything Claudia had demanded for, she had given her. She has made her daughter the dream of every young girl, and now that dream is wasted.

"Mum, please it wasn’t my intention to. He promised to help me win Alanis over."

"By sleeping with him?" Elisa yelled. "How old are you to still fall for tricks like this?" She asked. Elisa didn’t listen to Claudia anymore and started walking back to George’s room. She couldn’t believe she had let that boy into her home. A boy who has ruined her daughter.

If Claudia gets pregnant for him that will be the end of it all.

"Mum, please don’t go to him." Claudia followed her back. Hurting George will be the end of everything. He will never help her be with Alanis anymore.

When Elisa arrived in his room, she walked towards the man next to the bed, now fully dressed in a black attire, George smiled when he saw the woman.

That smile irked Elisa to her bone.

Without thinking, her hands smashed across his face over and over and over again. It swung so swiftly, hitting him everywhere.

"How dare you?" She slapped him.

"How dare you come into my home to destroy my daughter?" She slapped him again and again, assaulting his face.

"I gave you a home in mine when your mother abandoned you and this is how you repay me?" She was about to hit him when Claudia held her hands. "That’s enough Mother you’re hurting him." Claudia cried out, but her mother pushed her aside.

"Hurting him?" Elisa asked perplexed by her daughter’s action.

"How much more desperate can you be?" Elisa turned to her daughter, this time, she didn’t hold back as she slapped her too.

"I’ve had enough of your foolishness. How long do you have to be so stupid?" She asked. "We’ve given you everything, everything you’ve asked for. Yet you choose to do this?"

"You let yourself get used by a fool." She said. "You must marry him." Elisa declared. There’s no way she would let this man ruin her daughter and go free. Alanis will never accept Claudia, if he would, he would have done that a long time ago. Elisa had no idea what was happening, but Alanis didn’t love her daughter anymore.

"Mother don’t do this, please. I love Alanis." Claudia rushed to hug her mother, her cheeks stung her so badly.

"You should have thought of that before opening your legs for another man. Your father needs to hear this." Elisa walked out of the room. Claudia wanted to run after her but George held her back.

"Let her go, this is what we both want, isn’t it? You know your mother would never let you marry me of your free will."

"I never said I wanted to be married to you. Don’t you there ruin my life?" Claudia pointed at him as if warning him as she walked towards the door.

"So how then will you come into the family? How can you win your Alanis over when you’re not in the family?" Claudia paused.

"My brother has brought his wife back into the Villa, and right now they’re living together. Your chances of getting Alanis back are slim and you know it." He walked closer to her.

"If you’re my wife, you’re a member of the family and together, we shall deal with those two for everything they’ve done to us." He added.

"What has my sister done to you?" Claudia asked. For all she remembers, Harlow only had issues with her and no one else, so why did George hate her so badly?

"That bitch disrespected my brother. But above all, it’s because you hate her. I want to destroy her with my bare hands and also my stupid brother." Claudia gripped his throat immediately. She might act weak before everyone but she was far from being weak, and the only person who has ever stood up to her surprisingly was Harlow. Her archenemy.

"Don’t you dare lay a hands-on Alanis. He’s off-limit." George chuckled. "Already so eager to fight for a man who does not love you anymore." His words earned him a slap from her.

Too many slaps today, my face should already be disfigured by now." He mocked rubbing his chin with his hands.

"I’m your only savior Claudia. I am your key to the Hamilton’s family. My brother will never be married to you no matter what." George said calmly.

"Stop flattering yourself, I can be a member of the Hamilton’s if I want to," Claudia said to see George laugh louder this time.

"And how would you do it? Force my brother to marry you again?" George laughed. "At this point, Alanis is going to place a restraining order against you." He poked her nose with his hands.

"And how about when I show him evidence of our... Bedroom activities. What do you think he would say?" Claudia frowned.

"You dare not." She warned.

"Then give me what I want. Marry me and get what you most desire my brother." Claudia was about to speak when the door of the room opened to her parents walking back in. Frank shook his head gently clearly disappointed at his daughter.

"How could you Claudia?" He asked gently.

"You will marry him and that’s final," Frank said in dismissal. "As for you." He turned to George.

"Pack your things and leave."
