THE BILLIONAIRE'S VENGEFUL WIFE RETURNS
Chapter 104: IT’S TIME TO COME BACK HOME

Chapter 104: IT’S TIME TO COME BACK HOME

Gus smacked his forehead with his palm, his frustration mounting with every passing second. "Damn it," he muttered under his breath. How did he let them leave just like that?

Alanis will definitely skin him alive. But it’s not his fault he has a loose wife. The boldness of her to even kiss that man knowing fully well she’s still married to his boss.

He knows Alanis wouldn’t make excuses, especially not when it came to Harlow. His boss had been on edge ever since finding out she was staying with that boy. That’s the reason he even asked him to watch them secretly.

The mere thought of Andrew sent a jolt of anger coursing through Gus’s veins. That smug little punk had no idea what kind of fire he was playing with. Gus’s jaw tightened.

His phone buzzed sharply, snapping him out of his spiraling thoughts. The screen lit up with the name he dreaded most at the moment. Alanis Hamilton. Gus stared at it for a second, his stomach twisting into knots, before he reluctantly answered.

"Do you have her?" Alanis’s voice was cold and razor-sharp, cutting through the line like a blade. There was no mistaking the restrained fury simmering beneath his calm tone.

Gus swallowed hard, his throat suddenly dry. "They both left before I could make a move," he admitted, his voice low and cautious.

A deadly silence followed on the other end, the kind that made Gus’s palms sweat. "But not to worry," he added hastily, "I’m tracking them right now. I’ll find them, boss. I swear." He said like his words could make things any better.

"Find her," Alanis hissed, his voice dangerously quiet now, a whisper laced with menace. "And don’t come back until you do. If she spends one more night under that boy’s roof..."

He didn’t need to finish the sentence. The line went dead before Gus could respond.

.

.

Kissing?

Now they were kissing?

Alanis paced around his expansive room like a caged predator, his slender fingers raking through his hair as he paced. His jaw tight enough to crack. ’How long is she planning to toy with me like this?’

And now, not only was she running away from him, but she had also kissed that boy. He clicked his tongue at his thought. He has never been more irritated in his life.

How dare she? Those lips, everything about her belonged to him, and he would make damn sure she remembered that.

Hell, he’ll kill Andrew with his bare hands.

The sharp ring of his phone cut through his spiraling thoughts. He picked it up, barely glancing at the screen before answering. His voice was calm, deadly. "Do you have her?"

On the other end, Gus hesitated, the sound of his gulp loud enough to reach Alanis. "I’m... outside his estate, boss. With the guards."

Alanis’s eyes darkened, his patience already at its breaking point. "What the hell am I supposed to do with such useless information?" he bit out, his voice low.

"The estate security..." Gus stammered, "...they won’t let us in without permission. But don’t worry. We’ll be back first thing tomorrow to catch Madam when she steps out."

For a moment, there was silence on Alanis’s end. A silence so deafening that Gus’s nerves frayed instantly.

"Boss?" Gus’s voice wavered. "Boss, are you still there?"

But Alanis didn’t respond.

Instead, he threw his phone onto the nearest surface and strode toward his garage. His movements were swift and deliberate as he pulled on his helmet, grabbing an extra one for her because that stubborn woman would need it.

It was time he did things himself, he had forgotten so soon how stupid his assistant was.

He swung onto his Suzuki Hayabusa, the sleek black machine roaring to life beneath him. His grip on the handlebars was firm, his knuckles white as he revved the engine.

"Boss, you’re heading out?" A guard cautiously approached, "Do you need an escort?"

"No." His voice was curt, his tone final. "Stay with the others."

Before anyone could say more, Alanis twisted the throttle and tore out of the villa’s driveway, the roar of his bike echoing into the night.

It didn’t take long for him to reach Andrew’s estate. His fury only intensified as he approached the gates. The guards stationed there stiffened the moment they recognized him, hastily stepping aside. Alanis Hamilton didn’t need introductions here.

As the gates swung open, he rode through without so much as a glance at the guards. When he reached Andrew’s villa, he parked the bike and dismounted in one fluid motion.

When he reached the gate of the villa, he paused, his dark eyes scanning the area as he exhaled slowly. His eyes fell on the man quietly sitting next to the entrance of the Villa.

Alanis didn’t knock, didn’t hesitate. Instead, he grabbed the intercom at the gate, his voice low and commanding. "Open this gate."

"Apologies, Mr. Hamilton, but we cannot allow entry without Mr. Andrew’s permission." The man at the entrance walked in his direction as he stared at him. He wondered what this man was doing here at this time of the night. His boss never told him about expecting any guest tonight.

"If you want to speak to my boss, you’ll have to come back tomorrow. We don’t want to disturb his time with the lady." Alanis clenched his jaw. There is something people don’t know about him...

He was here to get his wife and he will not leave without her no matter what.

Without another word, he turned to his bike, pulling out a small black bag he had stashed in the back compartment. Inside was a portable tool he carried for moments like this, because in Alanis Hamilton’s world, patience was not a virtue, and obstacles were meant to be crushed.

Within moments, the lock clicked open, and Alanis pushed the gate wide without care for the alarm rang to alert the neighbors around.

For tonight he is a criminal. He has come to steal the only thing that matters to him.
