Cassie has investigated Aryana. She discovered that she has started making a name for herself as a print model and an endorser. She also has a good following and didn’t have any scandal.

What irked her the most was the wedding commercial that she did with Erik a few months ago. It took the internet by storm. Erik was so handsome and they looked a perfect match. She never imagined that he would do such a thing knowing how much he valued his privacy. Though she realized the business interest behind the shoot, Cassie concluded that Erik indeed changed.

Cassie made a call.

"Franco, how are you? This is Cassie." She said in a sweet voice.

"Cassie?" Franco sounded surprised.

"Yes. It has been a long time." She paused, then added. "I have heard that you own the biggest bar in Central District?" She asked. "I am arranging a meet up with our college friends to catch up."

Franco laughed at the other line. "You heard right. You can book anytime at Midnight Club. I’ll give you discount on our VIP membership."

"That’s great! Can I drop by tonight to catch up with you?"

"Sure. See you tonight!" Franco ended the call.

A glint passed across Cassie’s eyes. She needed allies and Erik’s best friends would be her best ally.

She went down early to join her grandparents for breakfast.

"Good morning Grandpa, Grandma! Try this premium tea from London." She said as she filled their tea cups with the tea she brewed. Cassie was trying her best to please her grandparents. She knew that her grandparents were old and seeking attention. Their children and other grandchildren were very busy and seldom visited them.

’This is my chance. I need my grandparents trust and love. I can give them all the attention they wanted.’ She smiled.

"Do you like the tea Granpa, Grandma?" She asked gently and poured them another cup.

"Yes, the tea tastes smooth." Her grandpa said.

Old Mr. Lopez nodded at his butler and the butler passed Cassie a car key.

"This is for you Cassie. Samuel will help you with your driver’s license."

Cassie squealed In delight and thanked her grand father profusely.

"Thank you so much Grandpa. Grandpa is the best."

"We did not treat you well in the past Cassie. We just want to want to make it up to you." Grandpa Lopez said in an emotional voice.

"It is all in the past Grandpa. What is important is the present." She said, her eyes were looking a little bit teary.

Cassie arrived early at the Midnight Club. A driver sent her and her grandpa also assigned her a body guard. She was being pampered by her grandparents and she liked the feeling.

Franco was waiting for her at the VIP room. She looked around and a bit disappointed to only see Franco.

Franco handed her a platinum VIP card. "This is for you Cassie."

"Thank you Franco. By the way, I’ll book a VIP room this Friday night. It’s just a small gathering of our college friends. I hope you can help me invite Marlon, Alex and of course Erik." Casie added.

"Sure Cassie." Franco agreed. "What is your plan? Are you staying for good?"

"Yes. I have already reached my peak as a ramp model in Italy. I wanted to start over here and establish a name for myself." She said sweetly. Of Erik’s friends, she was the closest to Franco.

"That’s good. With your beauty you will definitely be famous in no time. I am rooting for you." Franco praised her honestly.

"Uhmm Franco, can I ask you about Erik?" She hesitated before continuing. "Does he still like the same things? I was secretly following him these past few years and I know he didn’t had any girl friend after me." Cassie said proudly.

Franco stole a glance at her. He felt uncomfortable. Of course he cannot disclose with her that Erik has secretly married Aryana six months ago.

"People change Cassie. Even I am no longer the same Franco from three years ago."

"You are right. So what are the things that Erik like now?" Cassie was persistent.

"Work and nothing else but work. He is still as cold and as domineering as ever. You met him in Italy right. I saw a few photos and he was so gentle to you. He even carried you and fed you. I think only you can tame him." Franco encouraged her.

Cassie gave her a gentle smile, one that can take someone’s breath away.

"Yes, he was gentle." She think thought for a while.

"Does he has an affair with her secretary?" Cassie asked nervously.

"Camille? She has just given birth." Franco pretended to act dumb and not understand her question.

"Uh, I meant the one called Aryana Jones. I thought she is the secretary. They seemed pretty close when they were on that business trip."

"She temporarily acted as Erik’s secretary when Camille had an accident. But Camille is back now as Erik’s secretary."

Cassie seemed happy with the news. Franco sighed inwardly.

"I don’t have much interaction with her other than the few times Erik brought her here for business meeting. She is assisting Marlon in the amusement park project."

"She handles such an important project?" Cassie’s voice hitched. Though she had no idea what the project was, it sounded something important.

Franco shrugged his shoulder. "Well, I don’t really meddle in their business affair."

"Franco, another reason why I came is because I need your help." She looked at Franco with pleading eyes.

"And how may I help you?" Franco has already anticipated the question from Aryana. However he pretended to be innocent.

"I think you know how much I love Erik back then. I was young and reckless... Besides, Erik’s Grandpa and father threatened me with my mother. She was my mother after all so at that time so I left and hurt him." She sounded heartbroken.

Franco was silent. He was waiting for her to make her point.

"I want to get back with Erik. Please help me!"
