Chapter 147: Kidnapped Again!

When Aryana woke up she was inside a small room. The only furniture in the room was a single bed where she was currently lying. She looked for her cellphone but it was gone.

She heard the door opened and she saw Sonia coming in with a tray.

"Have some food. It is past dinner time." Sonia said, her face was devoid of emotion.

"Where am I?" She glared at Sonia. "Where is my cellphone?"

A petite girl came from behind Sonia’s back. "Are you looking for this? Boss X said I can have this."

Aryana studied the two woman before her. Their resemblance was very obvious so she must be Sonia’s daughter. But how can she be Henry’s child?

"Why did you bring me here Sonia?" Aryana wanted to know what was in her mind when she thought of kidnapping her. "Don’t you know that kidnapping is a criminal offense?" Aryana wanted to guilt trip her.

Sonia only looked at her with an emotionless eyes and stayed silent.

’What is wrong with her? Does she have mental problems? Earlier at the cafe, she seemed warm and show a bit of emotion.’

"You are our light at the end of the tunnel. Our redemption. My mom brought you here in exchange for our freedom." The younger woman spoke freely on behalf of her mother. "From now on my bed will be your bed. My fate will be yours." The young girl gave her an impish smile.

"You know you should have asked Erik for help instead of resorting to this. Now Erik will not forgive you." Aryana looked at Sonia coldly.

Sonia looked down. "They will hurt my daughter if I do that." She said without showing any remorse.

"Do you think they will let you go even if they have me? I think you are very naive Sonia."

"Boss X never go back on his word. He will set us free." Sonia said with confidence.

Aryana chuckled. She can’t blame Sonia for being naive.

"So, is she Henry Lee’s daughter or it was all a lie to deceive Erik?" Aryana narrowed her eyes trying to read the woman in front of her. She caught guilt flashed across her eyes but it disappeared in an instant.

"She is Henry’s daughter." Sonia suddenly thought of making her lies the truth.

This time Aryana laughed loudly. "Never mind. It is very easy to check it. There is a process called ’paternity test.’" Aryana stared at Sonia.

Sonia looked away. Her lie was exposed.

"If you don’t want to eat I’ll take the tray outside." Sonia snapped at her.

Aryana took the tray and put it at the top of the bed.

"Mom, can I have her blouse and also her watch? They looked very expensive. I’m pretty sure she also has a necklace." Sonia’s daughter approached her and eyed her watch greedily. The watch was indeed expensive. It was a gift from Erik.

Aryana did not want to waste any more time on these two unworthy people. They do not deserve her or Erik’s help.

When the young girl reached out to take her watch, Aryana grabbed her by her hand, flipped her on the bed and then she knocked her unconscious.

"What did you do to her? You bitch!" Sonia raised her hand to slap Aryana but she slapped her first using her full strength.

Blood gushed out from the corner of Sonia’s lips. "That’s for fooling me and Erik." She slapped her a second time. "This one is for kidnapping me." She then knocked her unconscious. She tied mother and daughter on the bed using the blanket and gagged them.

She took her cellphone from the young woman’s pocket and she also took her cap. She put on the cap and pulled it down to cover most of her face. She dialed Erik’s number.

"Yana are you alright?" Erik’s voice was full of concern.

"Sonia kidnapped me." Aryana sounded aggrieved.

"I know. I had you followed. I’m coming with the police so just stay where you are."

"Erik she fooled us. Her daughter is not Henry’s. She took me to exchange for their freedom. I found the note that the waiter handed her earlier."

"What?" Erik’s fists clenched. "How can she do that?"

"The syndicate has made her a different person Erik. She is no longer the nanny that took care of you. I’ll try to find my way out.."

The door was kicked open. She turned back and saw a tall muscular man with a lot of tattoos on his body. Behind him were a few men whose arms were equally decked with tatoos.

"Alpha omega" Aryana yelled at her cellphone. It was a voice command that will automatically lock her cellphone and cannot be opened by anyone. It will also send her last location to her emergency contacts along with photos that the phone captured of her surroundings. The cellphone will auto shut down once someone attempted to unlock it.

"Look at what we got here Y. Isn’t she’s a beauty?" The man with a tattoo of dragons forming the letter X on his arms jeered.

"You are right X. And she looks like tiger. Look at what she did to these two useless mother and daughter duo." The second man who looked like X spoke. He has the same dragon tattoo. The only difference was the dragon formed the letter Y.

"Brothers can we have fun with her before we sell her to the black market? She is so beautiful."

Aryana’s eyes widened. ’There are three of them? They are triplets? The third one based on his tattoo is called Z.’

"Z, you have a lot of women to choose from but not this one." X approached Aryana. He wanted to trace her face with his hand but Aryana stepped back. He stepped forward. Aryana had no choice but to climb on the bed and stand at the farthest corner.

She was trying to gauge if she can fight them. They were gangsters so they should be good in fighting. For now she can only retreat.

"Ha ha ha. What an interesting girl. Your buyer will definitely love playing with you." X laughed heartily.

Then he looked at her like a predator looked at his prey.

"Come here!" His voice was like the voice of the devil.

He beckoned Aryana with his fingers wearing metal claws.

"Hand me your cellphone little girl."

Aryana hesitated.

"Don’t make me repeat myself!" He roared.

Aryana obediently jumped from the bed and she handed him her cellphone. She pretended to be scared as she grasped her cellphone and did not let go. She was testing his strength.

He grabbed the cellphone from her with ease. Aryna’s heart sunk. ’Damn he is very strong. Looks like I need to train everyday.’

X checked her cellphone. He frowned when it was turned off.

"It ran out of battery earlier." Aryana found a good reason why it was turned off.

"Take her to the arena and dress her well. She will be our final piece for tonight’s auction."

Erik who was sitting on an ordinary car with Lieutenant Rex Abares was sweating when he saw the photos that Aryana’s cellphone send him.

"It is you again Mr Lee. Did I hear you correctly? Is it Miss Jones who was kidnapped?" Rex Abares can’t believe it if not for Erik Lee himself who confirmed it.

’What an unlucky woman.’ He thought.

"I have been following this syndicate for some time now. They are very elusive. They kidnap pretty girls and sold them at an auction in a place called arena. The older and the ugly ones are taught to steal or scam people."

Erik showed the photos to Rex. "Do you know these people?"

"Yes, they are triplets called X, Y and Z. They are the left and right hands of the big boss of the syndicate. That big boss is very elusive. We don’t have any idea who he is."

"Oh shit! They are moving but we don’t see any car leaving the building. How could it be?" Erik cursed.

"Did you install a tracker on her?" Rex asked.

"Yes. Her cellphone and her watch have the tracker. She activated the auto lock feature of the phone and someone just attempted to unlock it so the phone auto shut off. Let’s hurry. They are moving away."

"They are going to the arena. There is a an auction scheduled tonight. There must be an underground escape route." Rex was tapping the steering wheel.

"What are you waiting for?" Erik asked impatiently.

Lieutenant Abes started his car. The car was traveling at over 300kph. It was clearly overspeeding.

"Hey, you have overtaken them. Go back!" Erik looked back trying to figure out in which car Aryana would be.

"No! Lets wait for them at the arena. I have my men stationed there. They will participate in the auction. We will do a synchronize raid so no one can escape."

They stopped in front of a five star hotel. Rex handed him a mask and a cap.

"You have to disguise yourself and try to be low profile."

"This is the arena?" Erik accepted the items that the lieutenant gave him.

"The arena is on the topmost floor. It is the most luxurious banquet hall in this hotel. Who would have thought that what they auctioned are kidnapped girls."
