Chapter 111: Taken Hostage

Aryana remained calm as the young man maneuvered her skillfully out of the chaotic crowd. He has two companions.

She was led to a narrow alley, then to the barracks and then to the nearly finished admin building at the far end of the construction site. The man holding a knife on her was the young disheveled man she saw earlier in the crowd.

With her improved skills on self defense she know that she can take her chance to escape but there was something in the man’s eyes that troubled Aryana.

They placed a bomb at the door at the ground floor and took her to the third floor in an inner room away from the windows. They also placed a bomb at the door of the room.

’He is smart.’ Aryana thought.

There were three of them. Aryana watched them carefully. The young man who seemed to be the leader asked the bald man to tie her up. Aryana nicknamed the bald man ’Baldie’.

The bald man who seemed to be in his thirties tied her hands with a rope. He then took Aryana’s safety hat and her vest.

"Oh my! Look at what a beauty we got here." The bald man grinned maliciously and his yellow teeth appeared. Aryana was disgusted.

Their second companion has long hair which he tied up to the top of his head with a ponytail. He has chinky eyes and a flat nose. Aryana named him ’Long Hair’.

"We are lucky to be accompanied by such a beauty tonight." He was ogling Aryana and his saliva was dripping.

Aryana ignored them. She looked at the man who took her earlier. She stared straight into his dark orbs and tried to read what is in them. Again she saw the desperation that she fleetingly saw earlier.

"What is your name? Don’t you know that what you did is kidnapping? It is a crime punishable by death." The young man looked sad for a moment. Then his gaze turned cold.

"I know. I am resigned to whatever fate will befall me after this." He said in a deep magnetic voice.

He has a good voice. He sound better than most of the DJs Aryana knew.

"Why is beauty only talking to Vince. Do we look so bad you don’t want to talk to us?" The bald man said. He approached her and wanted to touch her face.

"What are you doing? Don’t touch her. We only want her for the ransom." Vince glared at the bald man.

Aryana can’t help but chuckle.

"I am just an ordinary employee. I don’t have money. You should have instead taken hostage the CEO of Galaxy engineering." Aryana looked at Vince straight at the eye.

"Do you think I am fool. You are the famous model of Gaeya Corporation. So the company should be willing to pay for your ransom."

While Aryana and Vince were talking, Baldie and Long Hair were whispering in each other’s ears at the corner. They can’t take it anymore.

"Let’s take turns having fun with her. I don’t mind dying after." Baldie said in a voice filled with lust.

They approached Aryana.

"What are you doing! Stop!" Vince was angry but there was apprehension in his voice.

"Why should we listen to you. We are older than you and you are not our boss!" Baldie snapped back at Vince.

"You also have a beautiful wife that’s why you are not attracted to her. But for us this is our only opportunity." Long Hair increased his strides and was now in front of Aryana in no time. He tore away her coat exposing Aryana’s bare arms.

He swallowed and scanned Aryana’s body with lust. Before he pounced on her, he was pulled away and kicked hard at the stomach by Vince.

"Damn you Lance, this not part of what we talked about!" He punched him the face.

’So Long Hair is called Lance.’ Aryana watched as if she was watching a movie.

Lance fought back and Baldie joined him. Two against one. Vince was defeated. Baldie and Lance tied his hands and legs with several layers of rope.

"Now, watch us and enjoy the show." Baldie let out a maniacal laugh.

Vince looked at Aryana with an apologetic look.

"I am sorry" he said with sincerity as he looked at Aryana with pity in his eyes.

His plan failed. He will definitely go to jail without achieving anything at all. He was really useless.

’Jessa, my love, I am sorry I cannot get the money for your operation.’ He closed his eyes as he did not want to witness the beautiful girl molested in front of him.

Vince heard grunts from Lance and Emman. But how come they sound as if they were in pain? He also wondered why he was not hearing any sound from that woman at all.

Vince opened his eyes and his pupils almost popped out from their sockets. He saw the woman hold Lance by his hand. Lance pounced at her. She used the momentum of his body to bring him down on the floor. She twisted his right arm. Lance howled in pain.

Aryana stepped on his crotch using the pointed heel of her right sandal. Lance let out a horrendous cry before he passed out. Vince felt a chill down his spine.

Aryana approached Long Hair who was crouching at the corner. He hasn’t recovered yet from the earlier kick that Aryana delivered to his vital part. Long Hair tightened his hold on the knife. His gun flew out of his hand when the damn woman kicked it away. It was now at the corner of the room and very far from him.

When Aryana was near enough, he lunged at her and slashed her with his knife. Vince held his breath. Aryana dodged and at the same time grabbed Long Hair’s wrist and twisted it. He cried in pain and dropped the knife. Aryana kicked the knife aiming at the handle. It landed right beside the gun.

Aryana beckoned to Long Hair with her finger. He was very angry. He lunged towards Aryana wanting to pin her down with the full weight of his body. Aryana stepped sideways and pushed Long Hair at the back. Long Hair fell down with his face on the floor with a loud thud.

He was lying in supine position and Aryana did not want to flip him around so she just kicked him in the crotch a few times until he stopped howling in pain and passed out.

Aryana dusted her hand. She approached Vince in slow small strides.

Vince heart beat hastened. ’Is she gonna do that to me too?’
