THE BILLIONAIRE STILL WANTS HER!
Chapter 57: How did you know?

Chapter 57: How did you know?

"H-How did you know?" Tryson stammered, his eyes widening in shock.

But in that instant, he truly hoped that the news she was talking about would not be the one that involved her in any way.

Angel stood there with a strange calmness, her face showing no clear emotions—until suddenly, she walked up to him with a sense of quiet assurance.

At that moment, he couldn’t take his eyes off her as she made her way closer to him.

"Tryson," she said, her voice smooth yet laced with amusement, "in our generation, information isn’t confined to just one device anymore."

And at that very moment, everything came together in his mind as he quickly turned his eyes towards the television that was situated on the other side of the room.

Of course.

That’s how she knew.

In that moment, something in Tryson softened. The only thing that mattered now was making sure Angel was safe.

"Listen to me, Angel," he said firmly, his voice laced with determination. "I promise you, I’ll do everything in my power to bring that blog down."

His words were filled with utter sincerity, but Angel—seemed like she was not shaken by the news—simply stared at him in silence.

For a long moment, she said nothing, her eyes searching his.

Then, finally, she spoke, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Listen, Tyson," Angel began, her voice laced with amusement. "I really don’t think this is even a big deal anymore. I mean, the whole thing—every last bit of it—is all over the news. And get this, I accidentally switched to a news channel, and guess what? Turns out, I’m their morning headline!"

She let out a soft chuckle, a playful smile creeping onto her face. "How fun is that?"

Instead of worry, there was a spark of mischief in her eyes.

"If you want me to shut down that news, then consider it done," Tryson said with unwavering determination.

But just as the words left his mouth, Angel gently shook her head.

Tryson frowned, caught off guard.

He hadn’t expected her to turn down something that could free her from this chaos.

"Angel, you know everything they’re doing is going to affect you—" he started, his voice laced with concern.

But before he could finish, Angel reached out, touching him softly. A warm smile graced her lips, as if the storm around her didn’t bother her at all.

"Sincerely, Tryson, you really don’t have to worry about it. I’m perfectly fine—especially with the news," Angel interrupted, her voice calm yet firm.

Tryson’s brows knitted together in confusion.

He couldn’t understand why she was so unbothered by something that could easily disrupt her life.

Angel stepped closer, tilting her head up to meet his gaze, her expression unreadable.

"Why?" Tryson asked, his voice laced with surprise. "Why don’t you want me to take down the news?"

She knew the answer, even before she spoke. It wasn’t just about the situation—it was about her choice. She wanted people to see her differently, to understand her in a way they never had before.

Angel had seen many people turn against her and hurt her deeply, and she realized that their actions were simply attempts to show her that she was mistaken.

Even though their words were often hurtful, she decided that she would not let their opinions affect her.

She understood that standing strong in the face of betrayal was important, and she was determined to prove them wrong.

No matter what they said, Angel knew she would continue to hold her head high and stay true to herself.

This time she was going to live her life fully without caring about the comments or the hateful comments people hit at her.

Angel stared at Tryson for a while clearly seeing that he was trying to seek some explanation from her because he was as well confused about her words.

"Tryson, the last time this happened, it was because everyone wanted to know how I ended up as your fiancée," Angel said, her voice steady but filled with unspoken emotions. "I’m not saying you should take the blog down, but this time... I just don’t want to."

She took a deep breath, her eyes unwavering as she continued. "Everyone is questioning my choices—whether I’m a gold digger or not. They’re doubting everything... the truth behind it all. Me and Arthur. And now, me being with you. They’re dissecting every detail, every rumor."

She let out a small, almost resigned chuckle. "And those photos? I’m not going to pretend they didn’t happen."

"But they’re all getting it wrong—just because they don’t know what really happened from the start," Tryson said, his voice laced with frustration.

In that moment, Angel reached out, gently taking his hand in hers. She gazed into his eyes, her touch soft but firm, as if trying to ground him—to make him understand.

"Listen carefully, Tryson," Angel said softly, her voice calm yet unwavering. "You told me yourself—journalists will spin any story, twist our lives into headlines, all just to make money. I know that. I know their words aren’t the truth." She paused, squeezing his hand slightly as she continued. "But the pictures... the reality of it all. Me with Arthur one day, and now with you—it doesn’t matter what’s true or not. To them, it all looks the same."

Everything happening around her wasn’t entirely the truth, yet Angel hoped that by standing her ground, Tryson would see her as strong—unshaken.

But deep down, a small part of her was scared.

Thankfully, Tryson had arranged for them to stay at the resort, giving them a temporary escape.

Still, she knew the truth—just like her, others at the resort had likely seen the news, whispered about it, formed their own conclusions.

And the fact remained... she had said things to both Arthur and Tryson she wasn’t supposed to. Words she couldn’t take back.

The reality that the baby growing inside her was truly the child of the man who stood before her was undeniable.

He was so concerned about this situation that he was putting the well-being of the baby first, even though she had insisted that the baby was someone else’s.

At that moment she watched as Tryson became so sweet towards her and then he stepped towards her staring down at her, he lowered his head gently to kiss her forehead.
