Chapter 94: Sabotaged

Elena in panic rushed to where she heard the sound. Getting there, she saw a trail of blood and and broken glass all over the ground.

"What happened?" She asked no one in particular.

She looked around for any sign of a weapon but there was none.

"Blood," she said when her senses came alive again.

"Nyx went this way, oh my goodness, is she fine?" She followed the trail of blood to an injured Nyx who was groaning in pain.

"Nyx!" She rushed to where she was, sprawling on the floor.

"Oh my goodness, what happened to you?"

Elena screamed when she saw the hole in Nyx’s chest with a lot of blood oozing from it.

She was too weak to reply, her head pounding in pain.

She pointed to a direction but her hand was not steady.

"Who.. where.. what exactly happened? Who did this to you?"

Her eyes were flickering,"I.. do," she inhaled sharply, and groaned.

Elena knew better than to ask questions, she immediately called for help.

"Someone please help! Anyone there?"

Some guards came running in, "Take her to see the doctor now! Be quick, she is losing a lot of blood!" She screamed in panic.

The guards acted swiftly and took Nyx to the doctor as fast as they could.

"Please keep her safe dear moon goddess!"

Archi sniffed in Dora’s arms, "Is she going to die? Is my mother okay?" He cried.

"She will be fine, you should not worry about anything," Dora tried consoling him even though her insides were scared.

They were outside the doctor’s place, patiently waiting for him to come out.

Archi kept crying in fear, "I do not want her to die!"

"She will not die Archi, your mother will be fine, do not worry, she is safe my dear," she pulled him in a hug.

He sniffed, "I hope she is safe," he bit his quivering lips.

The doctor came out, shaking his head. Dora and Archi rushed to meet him, "Doctor, is my mother okay?"

He sighed, "I.. do not know what to say, she is at the brink of death, a metal stake was driven in her chest."

Archi burst again into fresh tears, "Will she die? Please do not let my mother die! Please!"

Dora was shocked, "Me- metal stake?" She placed her hands over her mouth, "Oh my goodness," her eyes watered.

He nodded, "We need a miracle, if she is going to live."

"Are you saying she is about to die?" Dora asked her jaws dropped.

He nodded, "We werewolves do not really agree with metal and it seems that metal was silver."

Dora gasped, "Oh no!"

Archi looked at the two adults in panic, "What is going on?"

Dora glanced at him and back at the doctor, "What are we going to do?"

He sighed, "We can only hope for a miracle, at least, I was to cover up the hole."

Dora was weakened, she looked at Archi who was so scared at that time.

"Is it really bad doctor?" He asked.

He looked at him, "I do not mean to scare you my dear but it is really bad."

His countenance changed again and he began to cry, "I hope nothing happens to her!" H sobbed.

"I hope so too," the doctor muttered.

Dora went closer to the doctor away from the hearing of Archi, "What exactly is the condition of Nyx?"

He looked at her, "She is unconscious, we do not know if she will wake up or die."

She held her head, weakened, "Who could have done this?!"

He shrugged, "We have no idea," he sighed sadly.

"I suggest you leave, I will do my best and try to find any solution at all."

"No, I want to see my mother," Archi refused stubbornly.

The doctor looked at him with pity, "I am so sorry child, but you can not see her now, she is not in the right state to receive visitors," he tried to explain but Archi would hear none of it.

"No! Let me see her, I want to see her," hw tried breezing past the doctor.

"You can not go in Archi, listen to what the doctor says if you want her to recover faster," Dora scolded him.

He sniffed and hugged her crying, "Tell me nothing is going to happen to her!" He cried.

Dora was growing teary, "Nothing will happen to her Archi, I promise you," she bit her lips and took him in her arms.

"Be hopeful, nothing will happen to her," she held him tight.

He buried his face in her neck and wept softly.

A tear ran down Dora’s cheek, ’Dear moon goddess please listen to Archi’s cries, do not let anything happen to Nyx, please,’ she prayed in her heart.

"You may go now, she is with us," the doctor smiled faintly.

Dora nodded and left with Archi.

The doctor’s faint smile turned into an evil grin, "Watch her die," he cackled evily.

He walked back into the room he had left Nyx earlier.

"You can come out now, they are gone."

Risa came out, an evil smirk on her face, "Hmph, poor boy thinking his mother is going to survive," she laughed.

The doctor removed his mask and it revealed Andrew!

"Tsk, it disgusts me to think that child is actually my grandson!" He grimaced, "It would be better off if his mother had died," he rolled his eyes.

"I think so too dad," she smirked. Her eyes fell on Nyx who was laying unconscious on the bed.

"Oh, poor Nyx," she went to her bedside, "So you are the lucky one who carried the Alpha’s heir, that should have been me! You do not deserve being his mate! Ugh!" She hit her unconscious body furiously.

"She is going to die anyway," he laughed.

She nodded, "I know, and I want to watch her die," she cocked her head to the side.

"Watch me Nyx, as I slowly take over your place in the palace," she cackled and uncovered her face, she looked exactly just like Nyx!

"Let a new Luna rule."
