Oberon burst into the room, his eyes landed on Nyx who was cuddling herself and cooing sweet words into an invisible baby.

"Nyx?" He called.

She turned to look at him, "Yes?" She stood up.

"Who are you talking to?"

She exchanged glances with the baby, "I.. am.. well, I was.." she gulped down nervously, wondering how to explain the child to them.

"Who are you taking to?" He walked towards her.

She shrunk with fright when he came near to her.

"I was talking to the baby."

He arched his brow, "A baby? Whose baby?"

She pointed to the child, who sat on the floor, darting his large eyes.

He turned to look at where her hand was pointed but didn’t see anyone.

"Are you crazy? There is no one there."

She creased her brows, "What do you mean? He is right there," she pointed to the place where he sat down.

He frowned and looked at the spot again but found no one, "I can not see anyone there," he slapped his forehead gently.

He turned to look at the maid, "Do you see any baby there?"

The maid came closer, looked at the spot and shook her head, "No, I do not see any baby."

He turned to look at Nyx, "Who are you referring to?"

She looked at him, "Why can they not see you?"

"I choose not to appear to them," the baby replied.

"Why? They do not believe me, you should please show yourself to them."

He shook his head, "For some reasons, which you will eventually get to find out, I can not show myself to him."

Oberon gaped at Nyx who was obviously talking to no one.

He looked at the maid, "Go get my mother."

She nodded and ran out of the room to go get Elena.

He held Nyx’s arm, "What are you trying to do? Act abnormal and call for my attention?"

She shook her head, "No, I am not doing that, I am saying the truth, when I say, I can actually see the baby."

"Then why can I not see this baby?"

"Because he chose not to appear to you."

"What do you mean? He appears to you and decides not to appear to me," he scoffed, "This is appalling."

She looked at the baby, "I am sorry mother, do not worry, I will get you out of this."

Elena came into the room looking very worried, "Nyx, what is happening with you?"

She shook her head, "There is nothing wrong with me."

"Then who were you talking to? Whose baby is that?" She asked worriedly.

"It is actually a baby, he is right here," she kept pointing to the spot the baby was seated but still no one could see him so they couldn’t believe her.

"I think you are overwhelmed, do you really want to produce a baby now?" Elena asked in surprise.

Nyx was shocked, that they thought that way, "What? I never said that."

"Then why are you suddenly talking of a baby? Do not tell me all of this baby stuff is just your imagination," Oberon scoffed.

Nyx was fed up, "I do not care what you think, but as far as I can see him sitting right in front of me, then I am saying the truth," she folded her arms.

"This could be hallucination, she could be hallucinating," the maid chipped in.

Elena looked at her, so did Nyx, she creased her brows.

"Hallucination?" She looked at the baby who shook his head.

"I am not hallucinating either," she was almost at her breaking point.

"I think she is just hallucinating, this needs to be attended to immediately."

Nyx shook her head, "No, please, do not take me anywhere, I am only saying the truth."

Oberon grunted, and held Nyx’s hand, "Let us go meet the doctor," he led her out of the room.

"Oberon please listen to me, nothing is wrong with me, you have to believe me."

"You must have probably heard seeing is believing, I will not believe you if I can not see what you are trying to make me believe."

Nyx bit her lips, "Which kind of a misfortune is this?"

"Probably yours?" He muttered but she heard him.

She felt pained, "My misfortune?"

He rolled his eyes, "Mark!" He called.

Mark came running to him, "Yes, your majesty."

"I need the doctor to be here, immediately."

"Oberon, I am fine," she protested.

He made her sit on a chair, waiting impatiently for the doctor.

"I wonder what has gotten into you today," he clenched his fists.

"I am fine," she whined.

Mark came into the living room, "He is on his way, I have sent for him."

He nodded, "I hope he comes here quickly."

After some minutes of waiting, the doctor came in, "You called for me your Majesty," he bowed.

He nodded, "The problem is with her, she has been hallucinating, she says she keeps seeing a baby which no other person does."

The doctor faced her, "My lady, what is the matter?"

"There is nothing wrong with me, I promise, I am actually seeing him, he chose not to appear to anyone else."

"He does not appear to anyone else?"

She shook her head, "Yes."

The doctor was taken aback, "Oh, that is... strange."

She shrugged, "I do not know why."

"Hmm, my lady, permit me to do some check up on you."

She shook her head, "There is nothing wrong with me, I can assure you on that."

Oberon was totally pissed off, "Do what you have to do, do not wait for her consent, I give you my order."

The doctor nodded, "Yes your majesty."

He settled down to commence on his check up, but his box seemed to be walking away.

He was shocked, "Huh?"

Oberon saw it, and was also surprised, "It is walking away."

The doctor walked up to it, but it moved faster away from him.

Nyx saw the baby carrying the box and running around the living room.

"I told you, there is a baby here!"
