The Alpha's Blind Fate
Chapter 365: Pure Evil

Chapter 365: Pure Evil

ZINA

If ever Zina was asked to describe evil as a from, she would simply point at the sinewy muscles of a thing that balled itself before them as the description.

Yes, tbis notrouous Master she had always heard of could only be described in one word—Evil.

Evil form, evil eyes, evil voice... evil everything.

And honestly, evil was not so terrifying anymore.

Zina thought he would be something more. Something scary and powerful. But looking at half a man, she felt pity for herself at being scared of this thing... if something so incomplete and lacking a definite form it had no choice but to descend into evil.

She had truly always wondered why she never saw him in her visions. She had seen the Red Wolf, seen her mother, but this man, this Master had remained ever elusive.

Now she knew why. Her powers couldn’t have been bothered to descend as low as showing her a dead person.

A dead thing.

The feeling of pity she felt for herself quickly morphed into self loathing. Was this what the Matriachy Pack had submitted to? Was this was what set the motions that executed her pack? Was this what killed Daemon’s mother?

Master? More like servant.

Potruding head attached to an almsot skeletal torso. Missing the lower limb but with its upper limb distended and enlongated, Master walked on his two hands, dragging behind him his broken body.

He was scarred as far as eyes could see. Ancient as far as anyone could feel. But certainly broken, Zina was sure of.

When he opened his mouth to speak, he had sparse number of teeth remaining. Three or four. And his voice came out as air would.

Like wind trapped in a hollow cave.

"Am I not what you’ve expected, Zina WolfKnight." He said to her in his empty voice. Even though he spoke with air, it still managed to weakly echo in the cave.

Zina stared at him. His sight was definitely disgusting but strange enough she didn’t recoil.

She smiled a triumphant smile. Lips stretched wide, eyes glittering with satisfaction. "Not at all, Master. You’re everything that I’ve expected. Even more in fact."

He cackled at her answer—a bone chilling laughter, while Rowan glared at her. "Kneel before the Master." He commanded her, but Zina stood defiantly.

She will be a dead woman the day when she would willingly kneel before that thing. And unfortunately for everyone there, she had no interest in becoming a dead woman—at least not yet.

She still needed to see this through to the end.

Slowly, Zina began to realize why although it was morning, the inside of this cave-like manor was dark. It wasn’t so much as because it was a cave, it was because the Master of the Manor was a man who hadn’t stepped out into the light in centuries.

Zina could clearly imagine how he had lived—feeding off the darkness and never seeing the light.

Naturally, nothing would be expected of such a being if not evil.

The evil laughter stopped and silence descended into the cave anew. If Zina once thought that the steel ad glare her mother’s eyes held for her was far icier than the glaciers in the North, then she was wrong.

Compared to the hate that currently radiated off of her at the sight of the Master, the former steel in her eyes was nothing.

Zina could feel the hate the bound woman held for the man who crawled on the floor. She could taste it even. And somehow, she found herself feeding off the hate and hating all the men in the room for that.

Would she ever have her vengeance against those people who had done a terrible thing to the woman who birthed her? Would she?

"She’s a defiant one," The Master drawled, crawling on his hands until he reached Zina.

He was a Half-Man indeed.

"I apologize for this Master. Zina WolfKnight obviously doesn’t understand why she’s here just yet."

The Master smiled, exposing his horrible dentition. "From the looks of it, she has defiled many times."

Rowan’a face hardened while rattled off his answer. "She claims as a Queen she isn’t used to servants standing so she laid her hands on one of my servants. She claims to hate her mother so much that even if we torture Ameneris, she wouldn’t budge on the whereabouts of the staff."

The smile on the Master’s face disappeared while an ancient sneer overcame him. "In that case, have you found a far more creative way to rid her of her defiance?"

Zina could sense something was coming. Her act was about to come to an end as something far serious would be ushered in.

The door opened, and two figures entered. From the look of it they were both women, but their head was cloaked and lower part of their face masked. Only their eyes were exposed as they marched silently to them.

Zina braced herself, expecting the worse. She had been far uncomfortable when she was sleeping on the fine beds in Rowan’a manor because she knew a harsh reality awaited her. And now that reality was before her, despite knowing pain would follow, she was strangely comfortable.

In the sad kind of way.

"I shall have the tamers break her." Rowan declared while her litter howled.

"NOOOOOOO! You will not have the Tamers touch her! Please anything but them!" Her mother begged, her voice hoarse from probably many days of starvation.

The woman who had been far pretending to hate and despise Zina was suddenly pleading for mercy, and that told Zina all that she needed to know for what was to come.

"Your Tamers are in charge of the Deformed. Zina WolfKnight is bigger than the Deformed. Should we not use something stronger for her?"

Zina froze. What? They wanted to use something far biggger than whatever tamed those unhinged monsters on her?

Rowan smiled slowly as the first trickle of fear seeped from her. "One of the Tamers is the Red Sister Sharia, Master. You know her and her means. Besides, I had at first decided against it. But I think it’s time we took the most precious thing to our experiment, although it’s not precious to her."

No! They couldn’t mean her mother could they?! She was ready to drop the act already. To grovel and beg them not to touch her mother whom she had only just reunited with... but she froze at their next words.

"And what is that?" The Master asked slowly and eerily.

Voice dripping with menace, Rowan answered. "Her unborn child, of course."
