The Alpha Prince's Purchased Maid
Chapter 277: New Instructor

Chapter 277: New Instructor

A special lesson?

“What lesson is it?” I asked because it was the first time that I had heard from her about this.

So far, I had been taking most of my lessons with Prince Leonard, but I could sense that this ‘special lesson’ was going to be different.

“I think that it will be a pleasant surprise and a good change in pace for you. Are you hungry? Why don’t you eat?” she said before smiling at me.

The way she looked at me made me believe that she truly cared for my wellbeing. After a moment of silence where my two friends helped arrange it so that the food was accessible to me without the need for me to climb out of bed, Madame Sand sat down on a chair close to the bed. That was when I realized that she intended to stay with me while I ate my meal.

“I can move to the dining table, you know...” I murmured softly.

Eating in bed like this with everyone watching me just made me feel like I was a very ill patient. Jessie and Salena moved away to stand a little further away from the bed to give Madame Sand and me some space.

“Your maids have already arranged the food for you. Why don’t you just eat here instead of giving them more work?” Madame Sand suggested before she gave me a pointed look.

“Alright...” I agreed softly.

It wasn’t my intention to create more work for my friends and I knew that Madame Sand had said that purposefully to get me to obey her orders. I ate my meal in silence while feeling her eyes on me. Her presence did not disturb me as much as I had feared and that was because my mind kept drifting off to think about Prince Leonard. I wondered where he was and what he was doing. Most importantly, I wondered when I could get to see him again.

“I’m done. Sorry for keeping you waiting,” I said after placing down my fork.

“Your maids will help you get dressed for the day and then I’ll take you to meet your new instructor,” Madame Sand said with a pleased smile.

My new instructor?

The term made me even more curious than before. Instead of teacher, Madame Sand had referred to the person as an instructor. Suddenly, I felt quite energized and didn’t have much trouble getting out of bed. The sooner that I got dressed, the sooner I would find out about the new class that was waiting for me.

“Follow me this way,” Madame Sand instructed.

Salena and Jessie did a magnificent and efficient job of dressing me up for the day. The calf length dress that I had on felt very chic and the skirt twirled around a little when I moved my hips and walked.

“That dress looks good on you,” Madame Sand complimented me without turning back to look my way.

“Thank you...” I mumbled softly.

After a while of walking, I was shown to a floor in a building where I had never been before. The room that awaited me for my lesson surprised me beyond words and I had never seen anything like it.

“This is a dance studio...” Madame Sand informed me as she turned to face me.

“I see. A dance studio...” I murmured as my eyes darted around to take in the vast space.

The room with its sand-colored smooth wooden floor was empty except for bar rails on almost all sides of the wall. The walls were covered with mirrors from floor to ceiling and I could see my entire body reflected in them.

“Am I supposed to dance here?” I asked her to confirm my suspicions.

“Of course. This is a dance studio, so it is supposed to be used for dancing,” Madame Sand replied before grinning at me.

“Umm...I don’t know how to dance,” I confessed truthfully.

I had no experience with dancing in any form at all and throughout my life, I’ve never really had a chance to even observe people dancing. I believe that I’ve heard before that dance lessons would be among one of the lessons that I was expected to take, but now that the time had arrived, I found myself at a loss of what to do.

“Which is exactly why you’re going to learn,” Madame Sand replied.

“Right...” I whispered.

“Your instructor should be here soon,” she said as her eyes travelled toward the door of the room.

My eyes followed her gaze as if expecting that my new dance instructor would waltz his or her way in at any moment. It felt like the most perfect timing when the door to the dance studio suddenly opened. A woman with beautiful posture walked into the room. For a moment, I was enthralled by her beauty that I forgot to breathe. Her auburn hair was swept up in a stylish updo with a few wavy locks strategically framing her face to show off her vivid green eyes. Although I could tell that she was no longer in her younger days as a woman, her beauty seemed timeless, and I wasn’t sure how old she actually was.

“Duchess Flavia...” Madame Sand exclaimed.

I turned to see a very shocked madame with her hand pressed to her chest. She seemed to compose herself before taking a few steps forward and bowing low to show her respect. Although I had no idea what was going on, I quickly bowed as well.

“You don’t have to act this formally in my presence. Just relax...” she said in a sweet sing song voice.

I could feel her eyes on me, but I couldn’t meet her eyes. It wasn’t like I was scared of her, but she was so beautiful that I felt shy.

“You must be Mila, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you,” Duchess Flavia said.

I was forced to look up when her feet came into view. Although I knew that she was now standing right in front of me, it was still quite a shock to see her up close.
