The Alpha Prince's Purchased Maid
Chapter 252: Bedroom Visitor

Chapter 252: Bedroom Visitor

The strong wind outside made the glass doors to the balcony of Regina’s room shake slightly. At that same moment, a tremor ran through her body as she curled herself in a tighter ball on her bed with her arms around herself. Her entire body felt sluggish and sore, like she had a light fever that wouldn’t go away. Madame Sand’s visit only made her more frustrated and embarrassed about the condition that she was in. Although she knew that it wasn’t abnormal for humans with wolf genes to go into heat like the animal itself, she had never liked it because it simply made her feel like a wild animal.

The only thing that she could do was tell herself that it would soon pass like the many times that it had before. She closed her eyes tightly shut as she moaned softly from the ache that burned deep inside of her core. Despite how much she wanted to believe that her heat would soon pass, she couldn’t deny that each time this vulnerable period came around her desire felt more intense than the times before.

“Ahh...Ahh!” she moaned before crying out.

Regina gritted her teeth together as she placed a hand over her mouth to keep her lewd moans to herself. She hated all the indecent sounds that she was making, and she ended up cursing her father for meddling in her business. Her nipples felt tight as it brushed against the fabric of her nightgown while her chest heaved up and down from her harsh breathing. She pressed her legs together as she felt wetness seeping out from the hole in between her legs.

To her, the night of the full moon had never felt this long and painful. Regina heard the sound of her balcony shaking again and the sound annoyed her as she wondered why the wind had to be so strong. She didn’t believe that there were really any secrets in the palace and although she didn’t want to find out, the news that she dreaded hearing had reached her ears. Knowing about it and having it told to her directly felt like two very different things to her. If she just speculated, she could have denied the truth from registering from her brain and she could be content enough to live in denial.

She had always known that if Leonard did not spend his nights with her then he was spending them with someone else. A growl of frustration tore through her lips before she bit down hard on her lower lip when the innocent smiling face of the girl who used to be her maid until not so long ago popped into her mind. For the life of her, she failed to see what Leonard saw in that maid that was so attractive and appealing to him. Now that girl was an honorable maiden and one that was chosen to mate with Leonard.

“What the...?” she hissed at the loud sound from her balcony.

Her eyes narrowed as she turned toward the balcony while thinking that there was no way that the wind could be that strong. Regina forced her body up into a sitting position before turning toward the balcony of her bedroom where the sound was coming from. Her mouth dropped opened as her eyes widened in shock before she gasped and covered her mouth with her hand when she saw that there was a man outside on her balcony.

It was dark but the shadowy figure that she was standing on the balcony was definitely a man. As for how a man ended up on her balcony at this time of night, Regina had no idea. Her body froze in shock and for a moment the effects of her desire no longer controlled her body as a mix of fear and astonishment took over her.

The man started banging loudly against the glass of her balcony door and that was when Regina finally realized that the loud sounds from the balcony of her room wasn’t caused by the strong wind. For a moment, her body refused to move as she kept on staring at the shadowing figure of the man. It was dark outside and the lighting casted a shadow that obscured the man’s face.

“Regina!”

“Huh?” she gasped in confusion when the man called out her name.

“It can’t be...” she muttered under her breath as she willed her body to move.

After snapping out of her shock, she managed to throw her legs over her bed before getting up to her feet. Her legs felt sluggish, and she had to take a deep breath before she could take her first step forward. The following steps came to her easily as she made her way closer to the balcony. The closer she got, the clearer the man became to her.

“...Florian?” she said in disbelief as she stared at the man standing on the opposite side of the glass.

“Are you just going to keep me standing here?” Florian asked as he lifted his fist to bang on the glass once more.

Regina was scared that he would end up breaking the glass if he kept on pounding on it the way that he had been with so much force. Before she could think things through, her hands moved to unlock the sliding glass doors. Just when he heard the clicking sound of the lock coming undone, Florian slid the glass doors to the side to create an opening for his entrance into her room.

Regina took a step back in shock when it occurred to her that Florian was making his way into her bedroom. Her eyes widened and for a moment she wasn’t sure if what was happening in front of her was real. For the life of her, she had no idea why Florian was in her bedroom or how he ended up on her balcony. The large full moon above shone down from behind his head and casted a shadow on his face that made him look so dangerous and yet so attractively mysterious at the same time.
