Chapter 142: Close Your Eyes and Make a Wish

“Prince...umm...Leo...I...” I began protesting and shifting slightly in his arms as my nervousness started to get the better of me.

Suddenly, there were sounds of what sounded like explosions in the distance and at the same time colorful lights lit up the view of the night sky right in front of us. My eyes widened as I sucked in a breath at the beauty of the amazing display for fireworks that had sprung up to decorate the dark night sky like rainbow blooming flowers. It was the first time in my life that I had seen actual fireworks.

Was this what the prince really wanted to show me?

“They’re really pretty aren’t they?” he asked in a soft whisper close to my ear.

His arms tightened around my body, and I found myself leaning back against him as I kept my eyes on the firework display in front of me. The colorful array of light that looked like flowers blooming and bursting in the sky slowly faded just to be replaced by another set of blooming flowers. They were indeed very beautiful, and I couldn’t look away. The fireworks captivated all of my attention and brought me so much joy that I couldn’t stop myself from smilingly a very wide and bright smile.

“They’re very beautiful. I’ve never seen anything like this. Thank you...” I thanked him as I turned my head back a little.

“Close your eyes and make a wish, Mila,” the prince said encouragingly.

Make a wish?

“Is that what we’re supposed to do?” I asked with slight confusion.

“In this kingdom, we believe that if we make a wish when the fireworks are on, the wish will be granted. It’s just a belief, though...” he said before smiling at me.

“I’ll do it!” I said excitedly.

With that being said, now that I had my eyes closed, I didn’t really know what I wanted to wish for. If this had happened a while before this, I would have undoubtedly wished to return back to the orphanage and to how life was before this. However, I wasn’t sure if that was what I wanted anymore. I wasn’t certain how to face Monica after what she had done to me and then I wouldn’t know how to face the other girls that may have to suffer the same fate without knowing a way to help them.

It didn’t take long for me to realize that there wasn’t something that I wanted to wish for in particular. However, it wasn’t every day that I could get the see fireworks on display like this so it would be a waste not to wish for anything.

I wonder what the prince is wishing for?

Before I fully understood what I was doing, my mind was already making a silent wish to the fireworks that were still lighting the dark sky above us.

‘I wish that all of Prince Leonard’s wishes will be granted without fail...’

“Mhmm...” I moaned softly with my eyes still closed.

The soft and warm familiar sensation that I felt on my lips told me that the prince was kissing me. I felt heat rise to my cheek and I suddenly forgot everything about making a wish. The sound of the fireworks seemed to fade away as I got captivated by the pleasure of his lips on mine instead. His lips began moving on mine, kissing me from various angles until I made soft whimpering sounds in my throat.

I felt heat flood my face as my face became hot. Prince Leonard continued to hold me in his embrace as his lips worked their magic on mine. His lips only left mine for a moment to change the angle of our kiss. Although I was scared and hesitant at first, that all changed when I felt his lips on mine.

“Ahh...” I moaned softly.

The prince wet tongue slipped between my parted lips and invaded the depth of my mouth. He thrusted his tongue firmly and deeper into my mouth before swiveling it around with mine teasingly. His taste and his scent filled all my senses as his tongue moved inside of my mouth while his hands began moving to tease the curves of my body. I kept my eyes closed as I slowly surrendered myself to the melting pleasure of his ardent kisses. Our kiss quickly deepened as his hand roved around to caress my waist before inching upwards until his large hands cupped my breasts through the dress that I had on.

He sucked on my lower lip teasingly before thrusting his hot wet tongue into my mouth again. His tongue teased mine until I began kissing him back. His large manly hands groped and squeezed my breasts softly as if giving me just a little taste of the pleasure that he could give me. I was panting hard by the time the prince finally released my lips. My eyes slowly opened to find him staring down into my face. His blue eyes seemed a few shades deeper than normal and I could sense the desire burning within them. I wondered for a moment if he could see something similar when he stared deeply into my eyes.

“Ah...Ahh...” lewd-sounding moans escaped my lips to my utter embarrassment.
