“I guess Madame Sand has not explained that to you either...” the prince said.

Well, that was because you came in when she was just about to explain it.

“That’s right. She was just about to explain it to me after I had just asked her about it,” I replied while trying not to make it sound like it was the prince’s fault.

“Sorry for disturbing your precious little lesson...” he said coldly.

“Not at all, Your Highness...” I quickly replied as I waved my hands in front of my chest in denial.

The prince sounded extremely sarcastic just now and I began to wonder why he had to be so hard to deal with. Plus, he still hasn’t answered my question. I pressed my lips into a tight smile as I waited patiently for him to provide an answer to my question.

“The term honorable maiden is completely inaccurate. So let me explain it to you using another term,” he said.

“Ok...” I mumbled as I stared wide-eyed at his face.

“To us princes, we call honorable maidens by another term. We call them ‘Satisfiers’,” he said before pausing to judge my reaction.

“Satisfiers?” I repeated that word curiously.

“That’s correct. Just as the name directly implies, the role of a Satisfier is to satisfy the needs and desires of the one that she serves, her master,” the prince explained.

Satisfy her master’s needs and desires?

I tossed his words around in my mind. Although the words used seem quite elaborate for someone’s role but in the end, doesn’t that make a Satisfier something like a maid that serves her master’s needs and wants?

“Umm...like a maid serves her master?” I asked softly.

The prince could probably sense my confusion before he shook his head softly from side to side before he chuckled softly.

“You’re not completely off but you’re not quite right either. Unlike a maid, a Satisfier is a woman whose role is to solely satisfy her master’s sexual needs and desire. Her role is to sleep or mate with her master whenever he feels the urge to have her,” the prince said emotionlessly.

...What?

“Oh, I guess there is another role that she must fulfill. On top of satisfying her master’s sexual desire, she should aim to become pregnant and give birth to an Ultimate Alpha,” the prince stated matter-of-factly.

“An Ultimate Alpha...” I murmured as my mind suddenly went blank at the prince’s unexpected words.

“That’s right. In this Kingdom, and the other Kingdoms that were once ruled by wolves, it is always an Ultimate Alpha that takes over the throne from the current king. The other condition is that he must have an Ultimate Alpha heir in his direct bloodline...” the prince continued on with his explanation.

My head started to throb from the overload in information. Everything just seemed so complex and unusual.

“I...” I muttered without knowing what exactly I wanted to say.

This is too much. I have no idea what the prince is going on about anymore.

“To put it simply, the factor that will decide who out of the three of us princes will become the next king will be whoever manages to produce an Ultimate Alpha heir first,” the prince summarized before he flashed an amused smile my way.

Whoever produces an Ultimate Alpha heir first...?

“Only Ultimate Alphas that have produced at least one Ultimate Alpha heir can inherit the throne and become the next king,” the prince explained before chuckling darkly.

“Ultimate Alpha heir...” I whispered.

Being an Ultimate Alpha wasn’t enough for Prince Leonard to become king, he also had to have an Ultimate Alpha son?

“You chose me...as your honorable maiden...so...does that mean...?” I murmured hesitantly before I trailed off.

Does he want me to sleep with him and have his child so he can become the next king? Is that it?!

My eyes widened at this sudden realization, and I gasped before my hands flew to cover my mouth. The king made me an honorable maiden after he found out that I spent the night with Prince Leonard. He thinks that the prince has an interest to sleep with me?

‘Wolves mate very differently from humans. A human-wolf hybrid, a specie that is commonly referred to as werewolves, has mating and sexual desires that is also a hybrid between that of a human and a beast...’

I could hear the madame’s words in my head. Is this why she was telling me about the sexual desires of werewolves? How am I supposed to mate with a werewolf? Are they even real to begin with?

The prince did mention them marrying and blending into the human society and creating children...

“Mila...” the prince called my name.

I snapped out of my ominous and confusing thoughts and my eyes immediately met his. He was staring at me and my openly stunned expression. Can anyone blame me for being shocked about this?

My lower lip trembled and suddenly my hands felt very cold. With our eyes still locked in an intense stare, the prince slowly came closer to me. My body froze although I knew that I should get up and run away. I couldn’t move and it felt like my body wasn’t purely my own anymore.

What is happening to me? What is he doing to me?

“Mila...” he called my name again.

His face was right in front of mine now. If he moved in just a little more, our noses would be touching and then...will he kiss me?

Do I want him to...kiss me?

“That’s right. Tonight, and every single night that I choose you as my honorable maiden or as my Satisfier, you will mate with me until I am satisfied...” the prince relied casually to my earlier question.

I screamed loudly in my mind, but my lips wouldn’t move, and I couldn’t produce a sound. He told me that our minds could connect so why isn’t it connecting now? I couldn’t feel his presence inside my mind at all, so does that mean that he can’t hear that I don’t want to do this with him?
