"You are not Luna’s only protector." Zale reminded him of his status too. In this case, Zale and Lou were on the same level, which the merchant hated the most.

It didn’t sit well with Cedric. Any kind of abnormality in this situation could be taken as a bad sign. More so, this house didn’t give any good feeling at all.

"Where are they?" Cezi tried to find any of them, but he couldn’t smell their scent in the air, as if they had vanished.

Iris was sure that she came not long after Cane, thus basically she wouldn’t miss him, but when she was inside and searched for him for a while, she couldn’t find Cane, instead it was Rei, who was waiting for her. He was standing in the front table and stared at Iris.

"You don’t need to worry, he is fine for now." Rei’s expression was devoid from any emotions, as if he was not really here. His mind was miles away from here.

"This is not the first time you said that you don’t believe me." Rei narrowed his eyes. He looked sad and tired. "Ever since you met with the lycan, you became less trusting toward me."

Iris immediately notice that Rei was not talking to her, he was talking to Na. He still refused to believe that Na has gone. Completely gone and he didn’t have a chance to see her.to meet her, despite how long he had been waiting for her.
