Chapter 885: THE WARRIOR WAS SO PROUD OF THEIR LUNA

Iris was eating her breakfast with Cane when she heard Abby’s voice from outside. They had been informed that the Serafim would visit to check on Iris’s condition, because Cane kept saying his mate was too sick to do anything, which was a bullshit and everyone involved knew that.

Thus, from what what Cane hinted the other day, the elders decided to send Abby over. It was a tough decision, since they didn’t want her to be in public while she was pregnant.

"Do you want to bet with me?" Lou asked, he grinned. He came here early in the morning to bring her breakfast, which annoyed Cane.

But, the merchant used the excuse that he was Iris’s personal knight and it was only right for him to be close with her.

If it was not for his mate, Cane would have kicked him out of the tent. Iris actually had something to discuss with Lou, since discussing this matter with Zale wouldn’t be essential, because he was literally only a child, there were still a lot for him to learn before Iris could have any discussion with him.

More so, Iris wanted Lou to be there too, as they were going to talk about Rei. Abby must have known about what they really wanted from her.

"I will say she will not be able to shake off that annoying knight." Lou looked in a good mood today.

"I am not betting with you." Iris stood up. She herself annoyed with that knight.

"You don’t need to go out," Cane said. "If she can’t handle her own knight, she will not be able to handle anything." Cane put more meat into her plate. Her appetite had returned and she ate more.

However, as they listened, they realized Abby wouldn’t go anywhere, her knight was simply an obstinate person, who didn’t know his place.

"I don’t think we will have any discussion soon if this kept going on," Lou said, he got bored to hear them.

"I will go." Iris stood up again.

This time, Cane didn’t stop her.

"Well, I am surprised you didn’t go out yourself and let her handle it." Lou raised his brows. Usually, Cane would be the one, who took care of this kind of matter and sheltered his mate protectively, right?

"And let you alone with her?" Cane glanced at the merchant with disdain. He could read what was in his mind. More so, Cane counted this as a practice for Iris about how to handle the situation.

Recently, he had been giving Iris more freedom to assert her presence.

"I really don’t like you, Cane," Lou clicked his tongue, clearly annoyed.

"The feeling is mutual." Cane continued eating, while listening what his mate was going to do.

Right now, Abby was standing right in front of Cane’s tent, but the knight refused to leave. She had had enough with this treatment, but she was powerless to make things better for her.

"I am the Serafim, you should listen to me more and I told you to leave!" Abby said through her gritted teeth.

"My apology, Serafim, but the elders said..."

"What the elders said that make you defied her?" Iris suddenly appeared from behind the curtain, she walked out and immediately Eron and Dyne were by her side.

The warriors didn’t know about Iris’s pregnancy, but the alpha had made it very clear that if he found a single scratch on his mate, there would be a heavy punishment for them, coupled with how murderous the alpha looked like when he said that, none of them dared to put down their guard.

"You should know your place better to refuse a direct order," Iris said, as she walked toward Abby. "This conversation is a private matter, you should back off."

James didn’t seem happy with Iris’s interference, but he was alone in the werewolf’s ground and there were no less than twenty warriors near the tent.

"Luna Iris, you don’t know the rule in our Holy Kingdom, but I supposed to stay with the Serafim." James then added his next word in Andel language, thinking no one knew that language here. "Especially when she is with untrustworthy people."

Abby glared at James, but before she could say something to scold him, Iris already talked.

"And here, is not Andelus Continent, neither it is Holy Kingdom," Iris replied in Andel language too, after all she was fluent in that language, when she learned it, it came so easy to her. "If you wanted to apply your rule, do it in your own land, because here, is obviously not."

James’s face fell when he heard Iris talked in his language. He didn’t have any idea that the luna was able to speak in it.

But, before he could say something else, Iris had turned around and ordered the warriors around the tent with cold voice.

"Only Serafim Abby is allowed to enter the tent, if she came with someone else, I will not receive them."

After saying that, Iris didn’t wait, she went to her tent and continue her breakfast with Cane and Lou.

Meanwhile, what Iris did earlier might only last for a minute, but the way she humiliated James would be a story among the warriors for the next few weeks. They felt so proud of their luna!

Eron and Dyne even couldn’t help, but chuckled and the rest of the warriors had their wolfish grin curled on their lips.

They didn’t know what Iris and James were saying, but from the look on the knight’s face, it safe to say their luna had slapped him so hard on the face.

They really wanted to brag about this!

"Serafim." James tried to stop Abby again when she was about to enter the tent and the other warrior blocked him.

"You heard what she said and knew very well this meeting is important. Or, should we go back and piss the luna off? Can you shoulder the consequences?"
