The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter
Chapter 880: TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES

Chapter 880: TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES

Thankfully with the large number of knights, warriors and magic users, the bracken didn’t last for tomorrow, but it made them wondered why the sudden change with their meal.

Still, that was only a silly thing that they pushed on the back of their mind the next day, because there was an important thing to be solved.

The magic users gave up, they had wasted so many magic stones and Elder Rose had been very exhausted when she supported them by summoning the Sylph, still there was no result and Elder Xarex was stubborn enough not to let Abby do anything about this situation.

Instead, he went to bother Cane in order to let Iris solve the problem. Obviously, Cane wouldn’t let them get what they wanted.

"The elders become very restless," Jace said. He informed Cane, as they walked among the warriors to watch their training. "They demand to meet with the luna."

"She is sick."

"Cane, I don’t think you can use that excuse for long. They had seen Iris walked around the tent and she was fine." Jace had not yet learned about Iris’s pregnancy.

Right now, Iris was always accompanied by Hanna, Amee, Aliana and her five warriors, but she was sure Cane had stationed more warriors close to her, because she kept seeing the same warriors hang around her.

And as if what Jace had summoned the elders, they actually bumped onto Elder Dandolf.

"Alpha Cane, beta Jace," he greeted them. "There is something I want to talk with you, alpha Cane."

"If this is about the problem with the shield, I need to reject it. My mate is still sick." Cane immediately cut to the point.

Jace could only grimace, he had told Cane not to overuse the same excuse.

"Let me see her, I think we as the elder from the Holy Kingdom is way more familiar with divine power than your healer." Elder Dandolf talked smoothly, having his way in to see Iris.

"No need to bother. The healer has been taking care of her since the very beginning. She knew what she needs to do."

"But, she is still sick."

"In that case, don’t you think the Serafim is the right person to check on her? Since the two of them have the same divine power?" Cane smiled harmlessly. "I think I will appreciate it more if the Serafim was the one, who came to visit my mate."

Iris had told him about Abby’s offer. She was willing to tell her everything she knew about Rei, the information that even Cane’s spies and Lou couldn’t get.

But, the problem was; they couldn’t meet with Abby. They had not yet seen her for weeks now. It could be said Abby had not yet stepped out of the tent at all.

"Let me know when the Serafim will be able to visit my mate." Cane didn’t wait for elder Dandolf to respond to his suggestion, he walked away with his beta.

If they couldn’t meet with Abby, then let Abby to be the one, who came to them.

This was one of the reasons why Cane intentionally pissed them off by telling the same bullshit about Iris was being sick when she roamed around their tent freely.

Later that night, Cane took Iris out and this was the first time Lou could finally see her.

"Heaven! Why it is so hard to see you?!" Lou’s eyes lit up when he saw Iris inside the tent. She was eating her dinner and looked adorable in her blue dress. "How are you?" Lou took a seat next to Iris and helped her with her meal.

However, a black wisp appeared and dragged his chair away, to create a distance between him and Iris.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Lou groaned at Cane, while Iris chuckled, she had gotten used with their fight.

"Her appetite just returned, stay away from her, unless she lost it again."

"What are you trying to say here?"

Cane ignored him like usual, but Iris actually spoke to Lou and this effectively quietened him down. "Lou, take off your clothes." Iris put down her fork. Her blue eyes fixed on him.

"Wh- what?" Lou stuttered, he glanced at Cane, as if asking for explanation for this. "What do you want to do?" He blinked his eyes.

"There is something I want to check."

"Is it okay to do it in front of him? You can guarantee he will not let that lycan out?" Lou looked doubtful. He always showed his interest on Iris openly, but it didn’t mean, he was willing to lose his life. "Why we don’t do it when he is not here? You make it very obvious."

Iris frowned. "What are you talking about?" but then, it clicked in her head, her little face turned red, as she glared at him. "Your mind is so dirty!"

"Your words were very ambiguous, how can I not jump into that conclusion?" Lou retorted.

"That’s not what I meant! I heard you have a unique birthmark, I want to see it!" She had not yet seen it, but Cane told her about it and she was sure, Lou’s birthmark was the same like the one Zale had.

"Oh, that birthmark." Lou glanced at Cane. Obviously, the alpha was the one, who had told her, but then he remembered his conversation with Cane before this. Could this be... "Do you want me to take off my pants too?" Lou grinned.

But, his grin quickly disappeared when Cane had had enough of him and stood up.

"What? What are you going to do? Sit! Stay there!" Lou widened his eyes. He was being defensive now, he remembered the last time Cane undressed him was not a memory he was fond of.

"Come, I will help you," Cane said darkly. "Do you want to take off your pants too?"

"Hey! I am just joking, okay! Stay away from me!" Lou looked at Iris in panic. "Can you do something to your mate!?"
