Chapter 730: TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES
Chapter 730: TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES
Aliana waited for Cane’s response, but when she realized, the alpha was not going to say anything, she remembered about something else.
"I know this is not the right time to mention about this, neither this is a very important thing, but I only want you to know that I saw the same symbol on Lou’s back, it’s the same like the symbol on the Serafim’s personal knight’s sword. Cedric said it’s their crest."
Aliana had been thinking about this for a while and she didn’t know what the meaning of this, but if this information could help in any way, she needed to let the alpha knew about this.
"On his back." Cane repeated what Aliana said.
"Yes, on his back."
"Thank you for the information, you can leave, Aliana."
And with that Aliana closed the door behind her. She met with Jace and Ethan, who stood on guard in front of Iris’s bedroom.
"How is it?" Jace asked. He was very concern about Cane. He was exceptionally calm and detached himself. One could say he didn’t show any emotion, as if he was shutting down.
"He looks... fine." Aliana didn’t elaborate further and then walked away.
However, she was too deep in her thought, until she didn’t realize that Ethan had been following her. The gamma walked a few steps back behind her and when she realized she had been followed, Aliana turned her body around and frowned at him.
"What are you doing here? You are supposed to be with Jace." Aliana frowned, she needed to admit she didn’t have a presence mind earlier to just notice him right now.
"Your brother gave me permission to accompany you." Ethan showed his carefree self.
Aliana shook her head, she didn’t have the energy to deal with this. "I don’t need your company."
"You look devastated." Ethan walked closer toward Aliana and when he spoke again, his voice was deeper and more serious. "Are you, okay?"
Aliana chuckled, but there was no joy in her voice. "You asked the question to the wrong person, it’s not me, who is mourning."
And with that, Ethan hugged her without saying anything. He wrapped her into a tight, warm embrace and kissed the top of her head. He became even more profound with his feeling for Aliana.
"Wh- what are you doing?" Aliana wanted to push him away, but somehow, her eyes swelled with tears. She didn’t know why she suddenly wanted to cry.
"It’s okay to cry, you know. You are also mourning." Ethan knew the death baby had traumatized Aliana, it reminded her about what happened to her years ago.
However, because it was not her lost, she felt bad if she was being sad more than Iris and Cane. Her mind told her that she should be there for them, instead of crying and showing her sadness, she needed to be strong.
Yet, Ethan knew the deepest pain and the turmoil Aliana felt right now.
And for once, Aliana was very tired and Ethan felt like home, where she could rest her tired body and soul and forget about the rest for a while.
She surrendered and let herself to cry in his arms...

"You said I can have him! You said he will come to me! What the meaning of this?!" Aria was furious. This was not what Decratic promised her. He said she could have Cane!
"Shut your mouth! Watch what you said!" Lady Cyan snapped at Aria for being very disrespectful toward Decratic.
Meanwhile, the man that looked like Alan didn’t show any reaction at all, he only stared at Aria, amused with her reaction.
"The baby is death. Doesn’t that make you happy?" Decratic tilted his head.
"They have twin! You only managed to kill one!" The thought Iris could give Cane an heir irritated her so much. She didn’t want another woman had Cane’s child!
Decratic raised his hand when Lady Cyan wanted to snap at Aria again for her disrespectful behavior, but Decratic seemed to enjoy her outburst.
"The day is still long, it’s just the beginning, the game is not over yet." Decratic stood up from his chair and then walked out of his study room, where alpha Gallot, Dax and Nolan had been waiting for him outside.
"Everything is ready, my king," alpha Gallot said.
Decratic glanced at alpha Nolan. He smiled and patted his arm, as if they were a good friend. "You don’t need to worry, you will get your son back, even if they killed him. I can revive him."
Alpha Nolan clenched his jaw. He glanced at Aria, who was still inside the room. "Thank you, my king." The gratitude sounded hollow. He didn’t want his son to be like Aria.
"When will we start?" Alpha Dax from Golden Light pack asked. He held a strong grudge against alpha Colter and his follower for the lost of his pack. Now, he was an alpha without land of territory. He only had his warriors.
"Let them mourning for three days." Decratic smiled when he saw Kellan walked toward him and knelt down in front of him solemnly.
"My king..." Kellan greeted him. Behind him was Redmond, this was the first time for him to see Decratic and he showed his utmost loyalty to him.

"What is your plan to explain about the black wisp?" Lou asked, he jumped from the window, but he didn’t come closer. He didn’t want to see the dead baby on the crib.
Cane didn’t seem to be surprised with his sudden appearance, he had noticed the merchant when he came closer to this bedroom.
"Are you planning to admit that you are a lycan?" Lou raised his brows. "Don’t worry, if something happened to you, I will take care of your mate and baby. I can get them out of this continent."
This statement would irritate Cane, but he looked detached from any emotions. "You will cover for me."
"Why do you think I will agree to that?" Lou scoffed. "You ask more and more, and I received nothing, but lost after lost. What will you offer to me now?"
Cane lifted his head and glanced at Lou’s body. He remembered what Aliana told him, though he didn’t respond to it.
"Tell me why do you runaway from Karam continent?" Cane asked lightly.
"Who told you I runaway?" Lou clenched his jaw. "I want to expand my business. How do you think I will be able to expand my business if I didn’t get out from that place?"
Of course, Cane wouldn’t miss the opportunity to dig deeper into Lou’s background if he had any chance. The people from Karam, who delivered their grain were not able to go back to their continent because the sea had frozen, so they needed to stay in this continent until the winter ended.
They were Karam people, there was no way, they didn’t know a thing or two about Lou. Even amidst everything that was going on, Cane wouldn’t fail to get more information about him.
Lou scoffed disdainfully when he heard that. "I thought we are friend, but you are still suspicious with me. I can’t believe it..." Lou shook his head dramatically, but Cane was unfazed.
"You came from an honorable family in Karam continent, but you runaway when you were fifteen and built your own guild since then. But, even so, you never stepped in that continent again. What happened?"
Cane could see a killing intent that flash in Lou’s eyes, but he completely ignored that. This was the first time the merchant openly showed his desire to kill him, though it only lasted for two seconds before he grinned ridiculously.
"Secret." Lou put his finger in front of his lips. "Don’t dig deeper, or I can be the one, who told the Serafim about your intimate relationship with the lycan." He winked his eye playfully.
"Black star. That’s how people in Karam continent call you." This one sentence was enough to get rid Lou’s smile. "Let’s mind our own business." Cane shifted his attention back to his baby, but he continued to talk. "You have involved yourself too deep in this matter. There is no way out for you anymore even if you wanted. At this point, being with me is already a benefit for you too."
"How so?" Lou didn’t accept that.
"You need protection after you openly declared yourself to be on my side."
Lou fumed. "I can tell them I will change side. Do you think they will not accept me?"
"You are free to do that." Cane glanced at Lou. "You already know this, that Decratic’s worshipper most of them are mind controller. You can try your luck."
Lou hated it when Cane was being a great observer. Based on his personality, there was no way he would change side. His pride and ego were his worst enemy!
Outside, the sun finally rose and the sky slowly less dark. It would be a clear morning with the winter sun.
"You will cover for me with the incident with the black wisp."
"No way!" Lou grumbled. "I have never agreed to that!"
Once again, Cane ignored his rejection, instead he walked toward Lou and stared at him for a while, but it looked so creepy for the merchant to be stared at this intense.
"What? What do you want?" Lou frowned, he didn’t like the way Cane looked at him.
"Take off your clothes," Cane said coldly, which made Lou widened his eyes.
"Pervert! This is the reason you want to keep me close?!"
