Chapter 653: IT’S ALREADY STARTED (2)
Chapter 653: IT’S ALREADY STARTED (2)
There were total of four huge holes in the Great Walls, which made the fortress was useless, the holes were the magical devices built, but right now, it was ruined.
Decratic stood not too far from it, his expression was ashen, while Kellan stood next to him, he didn’t say anything, but would occasionally glance at him.
Other people saw Decratic as Alan, their king, even though they were a little bit confused with how young he looked, yet there was no one dare enough to question this, neither they dared to ask how prince Kellan, who had been crippled for a decade suddenly was able to walk again.
Some rumor said, it was because of the help of the current head of royal sorcerer...
Other warriors knelt before their king, trembling in fear because they failed to prevent this thing to happen.
"Kellan," Decratic called him, in which Kellan immediately came closer to him.
"Yes, my king."
This was another weird sight for all the warriors there, because as long as they knew, prince Kellan and the current king was not in a good term.
"Lead the Golden Light pack warrior to Diandem pack. Send my word to Dageus... kill them all." Decratic tilted his head and gave a disdainful look on those warriors. These pests couldn’t even work... "Leave all of you."
Kellan nodded solemnly. "Yes, my king." He then proceeded to lead fifteen thousand warriors from the Golden Light pack, marched toward Diandem pack.
Meanwhile, Decratic was left alone. He stared at the hole and touched the rubbles.
Magic.
He could sense the remnants of the magic. Every magic would leave traces...
If he discovered it a little bit late, it would have disappeared, but this trace of magic was enough for Decratic to track it down.
A vicious smirk appeared on the corner of Decratic’s lips, but a second later, his figure vanished into thin air.
=============================
There were a lot of commotion out there, informing them to be prepared for an attack, because the border warriors were making a move on them.
The first line warriors were engaged in a battle at this moment and it wouldn’t take a long time before they went berserk into their garrison.
"Do you want me to stab his eyes? Not to kill him?" Alpha Nolan ignored the commotion out there, because right now, he had his own battle too.
He had never thought that this sorcerer would come to visit him all of sudden. They supposed not to meet until he brought Iris to territory border. The plan was very simple. Somehow, Alan wanted this woman. The luna of the Howling Wolf pack.
Alpha Nolan had heard the dispute between Alan and Cane, thus the plan to kidnap Iris did make sense, knowing how much the alpha favored this runt. He had warned Cane before not to show so much affection toward Iris, but that young alpha simply didn’t want to listen and kept doing what he wanted.
Even though in the original plan, Iris was going to be kidnapped, but the accusation wouldn’t go toward alpha Nolan, in that case, he could continue to stay within Cane and alpha Colter’s party, while maintained the relationship with the royal.
Alpha Nolan’s plan was to see which side had the bigger opportunity to win, only then he would decide, which party he was going to side with.
More so, if Iris was not around, he could shove one of his daughters to Cane. He loved Leane, being with someone that was connected to his first mate, would be something nostalgic.
However, Dexter came here and propose this new plan, in which, wouldn’t allow alpha Nolan to stand in two boats for long. Shit!
"Yes, I want you to stab his eyes. Both of his eyes." Dexter nudged the dagger closer toward alpha Nolan, because his opponent didn’t take the gift, he gave to him.
"You don’t want to kill him?" alpha Nolan could understand if Dexter ordered him to stab Cane and kill him, after all, he spent a lot of time alone with him and he had so many chances to do so, but to specifically stab his eyes...
Even if he managed to do so, what was the point?
"No. You will not be able to kill him anyway," Dexter said, this time he stood up and handed the dagger into his hand. "You will do it, right?"
"You are very specific, it will be difficult to accomplish." Alpha Nolan was trying to keep his position, as part of both parties, until he was certain, who would win this war. "You want luna Iris, right? I think it will be easier for me to get her."
Dexter chuckled. He shook his head. "You don’t need to worry about that. Someone else will get her, since you are very incompetent."
Alpha Nolan held his tongue back from lashing out, he needed to be level headed in this game of power struggle.
"What do you mean?" Alpha Nolan glanced at the black dagger in his hand. It felt heavier than normal dagger.
"You are asking too much, don’t you think?" Dexter raised his brows. He stared deep into alpha Nolan’s eyes. "Don’t be silly, Nolan." Dexter patted his shoulder. "Just because you fooled Cane and Red Claw pack, it doesn’t mean you can fool me and my master."
Dexter couldn’t read people’s mind like Decratic, but he could control them, yet in this matter, he didn’t need to use his ability to know what kind of idea that fleeted across Nolan’s mind.
After all, everyone had their own greediness and it was eerily common in this realm. If someone could betray his companion for you, it didn’t mean, they couldn’t betray you. It was only a game of benefit in the end.
"Your son is very sweet." Dexter smiled harmlessly. "He is smiling at me when I gave him a candy. If he grew up, he will be a great alpha like you."
Alpha Nolan widened his eyes, anger fleeted across his eyes. "Don’t you dare to touch my son," he hissed through his gritted teeth, holding back his wrath to kill the sorcerer before him.
His son. His only son!
After all the daughters that those sluts gave to him, finally he got a son! How dare they threatened him by using his son?!
Alpha Nolan should use the same logic when he warned Cane about his affection toward Iris, where the woman could be his weakness. He should have learned that by himself, because the entire people knew how much he obsessed to have a son and now he only had one!
"’If’..." Dexter emphasized this word. "...he grew up."
The game was over for Nolan.
And right at that time, Jax entered the tent. "Alpha, what is your order?" he asked in low voice, as he closed the curtain behind him, while so many people shouted in the background to get ready for a battle.
Nolan turned his head to see Dexter, but he had gone. He vanished in a blink of an eye, even Jax didn’t have a chance to see him.
"Alpha?" Jax glanced out there, they needed to go out and relay the order, but it had not yet decided, which part they would help. "Your order?"
"Bring our people to the rear and press Cane’s warriors from the south."
With his warriors in the south and the border warriors from the north, Cane’s warriors would be stuck in the middle and fought against both sides. More so, by positioning his five thousand warriors in the south, they could use the gate of the pack as their fortress, if they couldn’t hold back Cane’s warriors.
It was not a secret there was barely warriors in Diandem pack, which meant, it would be easy to seize the area as their base for a meantime, until the royal warriors finished them all.
Without his help, Cane’s warriors wouldn’t stand a chance against the royal warriors, especially when the warrior from the Golden Light pack joined the fray.
"Yes, alpha!" Jax’s eyes lit up, but he turned around again before he walked out of the tent. "Can I have that bastard gamma?" his voice filled with malice. "Please, alpha. He owed me this." Jax showed the scar on his face.
Apparently, Ethan had clawed him very deep, it left a scar, though there was nothing horrendous, since his healing ability took care the worse, but still, the thin scar was there.
"Do as you wish." Alpha Nolan didn’t care much about it, but then he added. "Sent someone to secure Iris. I want that woman."
If Dexter really wanted that woman, he had to make sure he got her first, to ensure the safety of his son. He wouldn’t hesitate to decapitate that woman if that dark sorcerer harmed his heir!
"Yes. Alpha!"
And with that, Jax left to mobilize their warriors.
===========================
Decratic watched a man, as pale as snow, laying down on the bed, sleeping soundly. His red cloak hugged his body loosely.
He remembered this man from Alan’s memories. He supposed to be the merchant, who built the magical devices.
"So, you are a magic user..." Decratic talked to himself. He approached the sleeping man, killing intent filled the air.
However, before he could walk closer toward Lou, the merchant suddenly opened his eyes and glared at him.
"Alan?" Lou’s voice was dark. "How can you be here?"
Decratic smiled harmlessly at the merchant. "Lou, isn’t it?" He walked closer, but Lou didn’t budge, still reeling with the fact he was here.
