Chapter 631: THE STORM IS HERE (2)

Chapter 631: THE STORM IS HERE (2)

"What the fuck is happening now?!" Alan stared at his window, while two women were laying naked by his side, the two of them looked terrified to see the rain that spilled into the room, stained the floor with black color, as if someone just poured ink from the sky. "Corry! Corry! Get your ass here!" Alan shouted for his advisor to come inside, as he pushed away the woman on his left to get off the bed.

Corry Maleen, the king advisor, rushed into the bedroom, his face filled with horror. "Yes, my king." He stared at the stain on the floor from the opened window and there were more.

"What the hell is going on?! What is that?!" Alan didn’t want to get close to the window, he was afraid that black water would harm him or something, while the women on the bed were trembling and started sobbing, but Alan snarled at them to shut their mouth.

"I am not sure what is that, my king," Corry said in confusion, he just received the news about it not so long ago and he was still not yet received any reports, but he had his own guess. "Maybe... maybe that... that child has done something."

’That child’.

Corry was well aware of the existence of Decratic, he was smart enough to know that Alan was only king by name, but the person who truly controlled the whole affair was that man named Zeke, who apparently was the father of Lady Cyan, the former mistress of the previous king and Dexter, the head of the royal sorcerer.

Probably, in this whole palace, Corry was the only one, who knew this many information and it didn’t look good for him, since in this place, knowing so many things could shorten your life.

Alan just arrived from the north and he was very upset because he couldn’t kill Kellan. That crippled man was harder to be killed than he thought! That child monster, somehow, wanted that man alive. Not because of the deal with alpha Derick, who begged them to not kill Kellan, since he was his daughter’s mate, but Alan was sure that child monster had something vicious in his mind.

"Where is my uncle?!" Alan demanded. This was the first time for him to see this kind of sight, no matter how stupid and ignorant he could be, he knew this was not a good sign at all!

"He is inside ’that room’..." Corry replied.

’That room’ was the place, where that monster lived and with the mention of that room alone, it sent shiver down Alan’s spine. Because if he could, he didn’t want to be in the same room like that monster. The more he saw that monster, the more terrified he was since he grew up so fast and right now he looked like a twelve years old young boy.

And what freaked Alan out even more, he looked like him! Once he was fully growing up, there was no doubt he would be exactly like him and what happened next, was something very predictable. That was why, Alan had been crazy to think about the possibility of his future.

"Are you going there?" Corry asked in confusion when Alan stepped out of the bedroom.

"How else I can find the answer?!" Alan snarled, his question annoyed him. Despite his fear, he wanted to know what that monster was up to now.

Yet, he was kind of regret it the moment he opened the door to the bedroom and found more corpses on the floor. There were at least three people that this monster had killed, the more he grew up, the more he needed it.

Alan was sure he was not a saint, he had done his part of horrendous habit, but he had never encounter, neither it even crossed his mind about doing something cannibalistic like this monster had done.

And right now, before his eyes, he watched how that monster stood in the balcony, basked himself in the black water of rain, while laughing happily.

"What... what the meaning of this?" Alan asked Dexter, who was standing not too far from him. "What is going on? What is he doing?"

Dexter didn’t even acknowledge his existence. He was the king, but he meant nothing in their eyes.

Right at this moment, the monster turned around and grinned at Dexter. The black water stained his face, clothes and it made him looked unhinged. "It’s time."

"Yes, my lord." Dexter nodded solemnly.

"What do you mean? What are you going to do?" Alan looked confused, but he couldn’t get any answer because they ignored him completely. "What is going on?! I am the king of this continent! I need to know what are you up to!?"

Yet, no one bothered to even spare a glance toward his direction.

Meanwhile, the sky had turned very dark and the wind howling angrily with the occasional lightening that split the sky. This continent was taken by a storm.

Without doubt, this was the most horrifying night.

==========================

"Stay away from the window, luna," Aliana warned her. They were still not sure whether this black rain was safe to be touched or not.

"Where is Cane?" She touched her stomach, she was very worried, he had gone for almost three hours now. It had past midnight and they were closer to the dawn, but the sky was still as black as charcoal.

"The alpha is still with Haco," Aliana replied, that was the last news that she received about the alpha whereabouts.

Because the alpha and luna often asked about each other, thus their warriors kept in touched with the other warriors to know their whereabouts and what currently they were doing.

"I want to see him too." Iris got off the bed, but Aliana stopped her.

"Please, luna, stay here. The alpha must be very worry if you came to him in this kind of weather." Aliana tried to coax her and then she used this ultimate reason. "Think about your baby, what if this strange rain is harmful? You are pregnant now, you need to take care of yourself first. The alpha will be fine."

With the mentioned of the baby, Iris relented. She looked miserable, as she hugged herself and stared at the black sky and the occasional thunder. She had never heard something very ominous and horrifying like this ever since she could hear. It made her heart felt uneasy. There was this unsettling feeling in her stomach.

And then, she heard this whimpered and scratched on the door. Aliana immediately went to see what was going on, only for Lil Thing immediately rushed inside the bedroom and went straight to Iris.

The big bear climbed the bed and curled itself close to her, nudging her stomach, while making this soft whimpering sound.

Aliana was speechless to see the bear acted like a kitten instead. "Do you want me to take Lil Thing away?" she asked, thinking Lil Thing’s presence would bother her, while the other warrior apologized because they couldn’t hold back the bear.

Well, unless you wanted to be on a brawl with Lil Thing, none of them could stop this creature.

"No, it’s okay. I want Lil Thing here." Iris ran her fingers in its soft, white fur, which calmed herself down a little bit. A few days ago, Cane borrowed her lizard and she had not yet it ever since, but she was sure, Cane must have put the creature into some use.

"Okay," Aliana said, she closed the door and approached Iris. "Do you want to eat or drink something?"

Iris shook her head. She didn’t have the appetite.

"Why don’t you rest? You have not yet slept at all. It’s not good for your health. Try to sleep, when you woke up, the alpha would be here." Aliana coaxed Iris again.

Their happiness to learn that Iris was finally pregnant was eclipsed by all these unfortunate events, which worried them greatly.

"I can’t sleep."

However, once she laid down with Lil Thing close to her, she literally hugged the bear, she closed her eyes and ended up sleeping.

Aliana smiled to see her stubbornness. Iris was so young and she had gone through a lot on her own, but she strived. She wished nothing, but for her and all of them could strive during this dark period of time.

It was not until the morning came that Cane finally returned. The sky was still as gloomy as ever and the rain had subsided, yet it painted the whole ground black.

It had been confirmed the black rain was not harmful, but it would be better if they avoided it, which meant, all of the people stayed inside their house and there was no training for the warriors, since their training ground was in an open area.

"Why that thing is here?" Cane furrowed his brows the moment he saw Lil Thing was on his bed and his mate hugged it.

Aliana chuckled and shook her head. She still maintained this positive energy even though the situation looked so grim. "Don’t be so mean, Lil Thing helps the luna to sleep, or else, you will find her wide awake right now, alpha."

Cane was not satisfied with the reply, but he let it slide.

"How is it? Did Haco know something?" Aliana couldn’t help, but asked, she was very concern about this strange phenomenon.

However, before they could continue the conversation, there was rapid rap on the door and Dean’s voice travelled into the bedroom, carried a hint of urgency.

"Alpha! We are under attack!"
