Supremely Talented Tyrant -
Chapter 941 - 940: Then Change to Another One...
"Damn it! Kid, are you looking for death?!"
Jiang Hualiang struggled to get up from the ground, dusted off his clothes, a cruel glint flashing in his eyes. He pointed at Hao Jian and shouted angrily.
This bastard dared hit him right in front of his father! There's no way he could let this go! He must make him pay!
"My life-long pet peeve is when someone points their finger at me..." Seeing Jiang Hualiang pointing at him, the gentle smile on Hao Jian's face instantly vanished. His eyes turned icy cold, and his calm voice carried a tinge of killing intent as it struck Jiang Hualiang like a whip: "If you don't put your hand down right now, don't blame me for being merciless."
As if on instinct, Jiang Hualiang retracted the hand he was pointing with. However, he soon realized what he had done and tried to extend his finger again, only to discover, to his horror, that his hand was no longer responding to his will...
Suddenly, a chill surged up from his feet, rapidly spreading throughout his body. His eyes widened, his lips turned an eerie shade of purple, and his teeth began to chatter. Even in the heat of summer, he exhibited symptoms more befitting of a harsh winter.
"Hey! Kid, what are you doing?!" Noticing the strange phenomena occurring to his son, Jiang Bin's face darkened. He stepped towards Hao Jian and growled, "Asking for a beating, huh?!"
"I detest people like you—self-important, pompous fools! Young and ignorant, yet meddling in adults' affairs without the slightest qualm. What, life's too comfortable for you? You itching for some excitement?!" Jiang Bin cursed as he strode up to Hao Jian, reaching out to shove him in disdain. He sneered, "Since you're so eager for a thrill, let me show you what it's like! Let's see if you dare pull this crap again!"
Although Jiang Bin was a policeman, he refrained from escalating to manslaughter. Otherwise, Zhou Yu would've been beaten senseless long ago and wouldn't be standing upright now.
When Jiang Bin saw Hao Jian's wiry frame, paired with his unimpressive brand-name outfit, he gave him even less thought. Had he seen Hao Jian's Lamborghini, perhaps he wouldn't dare utter such arrogant words.
"Move your hand even an inch closer, and you'll regret it..."
Just as Jiang Bin's pudgy hand was about to reach within a centimeter of Hao Jian's shoulder, the latter finally spoke again, his tone faint yet laced with killing intent. These chilling words made Jiang Bin's hand tremble uncontrollably, stopping him from making further contact.
Yet Jiang Bin, dismissing this threat, snorted coldly in reply: "Who the hell do you think you are, threatening me?! Don't you know? Threatening a police officer is grounds for immediate arrest!"
"Acting tough, huh? Let's see how tough you are after this! My son isn't someone just anyone can trample on!"
His hand shoved Hao Jian's shoulder, expecting to send the man flying. Instead, Jiang Bin felt sharp, stabbing pains in his palm, while Hao Jian's body remained unmoved as solid as a rock.
"You touched me..."
The coldness in Hao Jian's eyes deepened as he glanced at the dust on his clothes, a faint smirk appearing on his lips. He spoke icily.
"Touched you and so what..."
Before Jiang Bin could complete his sentence, he suddenly felt the world flip upside down as searing pain coursed through his body. Furious, he scrambled to his feet, about to erupt into curses.
But Hao Jian had no intention of giving Jiang Bin time to speak. Stomping on the ground, he shot forward like a cannonball, his foot extended mid-air, delivering a fierce kick that sent Jiang Bin flying.
Immediately after, Hao Jian pressed his hand to the ground for balance, spinning both legs to send Jiang Hualiang—who had just come over—flying as well. He landed motionless on the ground, unconscious.
"Pa... Pa..."
Dusting off his clothes, Hao Jian cast a glance at the two men lying on the ground, a cold smile on his face. "I'd like to see how you, a so-called cop, plan to arrest me after this beating."
"Damn it! You're begging for death!"
Jiang Bin spat multiple times, ridding his mouth of sand from his fall. His face contorted with rage as he caught sight of his unconscious son lying nearby. His eyes flared with fury, blazing with unrelenting anger!
"To be beaten by a punk like you!"
Seething with rage, Jiang Bin reached for his waist and drew a gun, its pitch-black barrel pointed directly at Hao Jian.
"A gun?!"
The crowd, previously ecstatic to watch Hao Jian beat up Jiang Bin and his son, froze in shock upon seeing the weapon. Panic broke out as everyone scrambled to retreat, including Ye Linglan, whose face was etched with worry.
A gun! No one wanted to risk their lives. Defying television dramatics where a single shot could kill, they had no desire to experience this firsthand.
To avoid any accidents, the crowd distanced themselves further while the school security guards fled to their office. Peering nervously from behind windows, they refused to risk their lives. They weren't heroes willing to take a bullet.
"Do you think a gun will scare me?" Hao Jian, unfazed, sized up the weapon. For him, this low-level handgun posed no threat. As long as he could catch the moment Jiang Bin pulled the trigger, he could easily dodge the bullet.
"It's more than enough for you!"
Killing Hao Jian here and now? No problem! Jiang Bin figured he could fabricate the story later. Surely the crowd wouldn't go out of their way to defend a corpse.
"Try it..."
Before Jiang Bin finished his thought, his ears registered Hao Jian's lazy, teasing voice. Stunned, Jiang Bin turned to find Hao Jian inexplicably standing right next to him, holding the gun he'd just drawn...
This guy… how is this even possible?!
"A policeman, huh? Think you're tough with a gun, huh?!" Hao Jian casually tossed the gun down, then stomped on it, smashing it completely. He looked at Jiang Bin with a wicked grin and said, "If I recall correctly, losing or tampering with a firearm is a serious offense, isn't it? Now that I've destroyed yours, what are you going to do about it?"
"You bastard!"
Jiang Bin turned beet red at Hao Jian's words, finally recalling the regulations forbidding police from losing their weapons. His clenched fist raised in blind fury, swinging towards Hao Jian.
"Without a gun, what else do you have to fight me?"
Effortlessly catching Jiang Bin's punch mid-air, Hao Jian chuckled, applying pressure to his palm. With a light push and pull, he sent Jiang Bin flying again.
The spectators, stunned by the dramatic turn of events, stared at the beaten cop. As Hao Jian delivered another round of punishment, laughter erupted among the crowd.
"Haha! Truly one bull meets another—looks like Jiang Bin found his match today! I wonder which academy this young man attends. If I get a chance, I'd love to meet him!"
"You? Ha! With his skills, I bet even the Martial Arts Association president wouldn't stand a chance against him!"
"Kid, you better wait—I'll find someone to deal with you!"
Jiang Bin's face turned darker with humiliation at the crowd's chatter. These people dared mock him, a police officer?!
"Go ahead, go ahead! Bring whoever you want—I'll take them down one by one!" Hao Jian waved dismissively. He'd heard this kind of threat countless times before, and now it barely registered.
"You… You… Hmph! Fine, you wait!"
Struggling to find something sharp to say, Jiang Bin stammered before admitting defeat, his words left hanging.
"Brother Xiong! It's me, Xiao Bin… I… I've been humiliated at my son's school! Bring the crew to help me out!" Though the request shamed him, Jiang Bin swallowed his pride for reinforcements. Teaching Hao Jian a lesson was all that mattered now!
Everything else could wait until after his revenge. Bleeding dignity had to be avenged first!
"This student, you can't mess with the police! I think you'd better leave. Civilians shouldn't fight the officials; you won't win..."
Among the impassioned crowd, Zhou Yu spoke with pessimism. Limping towards Hao Jian, he advised him with a hint of concern in his voice.
"Teacher Zhou, don't worry. I trust the police will handle this matter impartially!" Seeing Zhou Yu hadn't fled, Hao Jian softened his stance. Offering him a relaxed smile, he shook his head gently as if he hardly cared.
In fact, Hao Jian had yet another thought left unsaid—if this police station couldn't operate impartially, then it'd just have to be replaced.
After all, in Hua City, Hao Jian was the undisputed overlord. No one—politician or otherwise—could defy his word.
Not even those so-called officials held such privilege!
