Supremely Talented Tyrant -
Chapter 937 - 936: Captured?!
"Spice Ginger, notify the families of these guys and tell them to bring money to ransom them back. One person costs one hundred million. As for the Bai Family, ten billion!"
"If they don't plan on paying, just kill these guys directly!"
Glancing at the group of spoiled brats, Hao Jian said to Spice Ginger beside him, "Transfer the funds directly into your account when the money comes, then divide a portion among the brothers under you. You know what to do, right?"
"Haha, Young Master Hao, whatever you say!"
Hearing this, Spice Ginger let out a hearty laugh. Then, giving quick instructions to one of his subordinates to notify the families, he continued standing by Hao Jian's side, staring at the group of men.
Hao Jian didn't bother concealing his words, allowing Bai Herong and the others to hear everything. Their faces turned ashen, filled with anger at Hao Jian's methods. But for now, all they could do was pray their families would cough up the money to save them. If not, they were truly going to die!
"Take them back. Make sure their families pay up by day's end to ransom them. If the deadline passes, send them off to hell." Hao Jian chuckled as he lightly kicked Bai Herong lying at his feet. Then, turning on his heel, he walked toward the car waiting outside.
Watching Hao Jian's retreating figure, Bai Herong's face twisted with fury, his eyes brimming with venomous hatred. When he got back, he was determined to show Hao Jian what he was made of!
"What are you all standing around for?! Didn't you hear Young Master Hao's instructions? Get moving and bring them back right now!" Seeing his men still frozen in place like idiots, Spice Ginger barked at them. Finally, as the group started to act, he let out a cold snort and hurried to catch up with Hao Jian.
Cao Bo followed close behind. Since staying there wouldn't accomplish anything for him, he figured sticking near Spice Ginger might give him a chance to interact with Hao Jian.

Bai Family…
"What?! Are you telling me that my son was captured by that bastard Hao Jian?!" In a lavishly decorated mansion, a man in his fifties shot up from a leather sofa, shouting furiously into the phone he held.
Beside him, a beautiful, elegant woman was equally shocked. Worried, she spoke, "Honey, what happened with Rong'er?! How did Hao Jian catch him?!"
"That idiot! He went to Hua City to have fun and even planned to buy guns to deal with Hao Jian. I honestly don't know what to say about him! That bastard Hao Jian didn't even bother giving us a heads-up and just went ahead and captured Rong'er!"
The man was Bai Jingze, Bai Herong's father, while the woman was Bai Herong's mother, Zhu Tong. At this moment, Bai Jingze was beside himself with rage.
However, hidden deep in his gaze was an undeniable fear. As someone in the Bai Family's management, Bai Jingze was well aware of Hao Jian's terrifying reputation—not only his personal ruthlessness but also the power of the forces backing him.
And now, his foolish son had dared to provoke Hao Jian?! Damn it! Hao Jian wasn't someone a spoiled brat who only knew how to party and indulge could afford to offend! Even the entire Bai Family wouldn't dare to confront him, yet his son... his son had the audacity to trespass on Hao Jian's turf to buy guns and try to take him down!
Bai Jingze didn't even know how to scold his idiotic son anymore. With frustration, he turned to his wife and said, "Now Hao Jian demands we pay ten billion to ransom him back..."
"Then what are we waiting for? Tell your elder brother to send the money immediately and get Rong'er back! It's just ten billion! The Bai Family can afford it!"
Hearing that ten billion was needed to save her son, Zhu Tong's expression turned panicked as she urged her husband repeatedly.
She was deeply worried that if they were late, Hao Jian might kill her beloved son in a fit of rage. She knew who Hao Jian was and was very aware of his methods!
"Hold on. I'll call my elder brother and let him decide." Bai Jingze sighed helplessly and pointed to his phone.
The Bai Family might be wealthy, but ten billion wasn't an amount he could decide to use on his own. Though it wasn't much for the family collectively, such a large transaction still needed proper authorization processes.
"Right, right, right, hurry up!"
Upon hearing this, Zhu Tong quickly nodded.
"Hello? Brother, it's me, Jingze..."
When the call went through, Bai Jingze's tone immediately adopted a respectful edge.
"Jingze, what's up?"
The Bai Family Head's slightly languid voice came through the phone speaker. Hearing it, Bai Jingze's teeth clenched slightly—he didn't believe his elder brother wasn't already aware that his son had been caught!
"Here's the situation: Rong'er was captured by Hao Jian. We need ten billion to ransom him back..."
"If that's the case, then let Bai Yang take the money and retrieve Rong'er."
"Alright!"
Stunned for a moment by the smooth response, Bai Jingze quickly agreed, hung up the phone, and turned to his wife with a puzzled expression. "What's going on with my elder brother today? Why did he agree to hand over the money so readily this time?"
"Obviously because of you!"
Rolling her eyes at her husband's question, Zhu Tong retorted, "You're still one of the Bai Family's top executives, with nearly half the family's power in your hands. If Rong'er isn't ransomed back and you end up having a falling out with him, what good does that do him? Do you think your elder brother wouldn't worry?"
"It's all about protecting his status, that throne of his. You've been at odds with him for so long, and you still fall into such obvious traps!"
Listening to his wife's complaints, Bai Jingze let out a bitter laugh. "I'm just anxious. Even though that brat is always a good-for-nothing, mixing with those other spoiled kids, he's still my son. Now that something's happened to him, how can I not care?"
"But this is good—we save some time doing it this way. Plus, sending Bai Yang shows that my elder brother is serious about bringing Rong'er back this time."
Bai Yang, after all, was the Bai Family's other Young Master. Sending him to negotiate and hand over money was a gesture of respect to Hao Jian! Bai Jingze believed this courtesy would compel Hao Jian to reciprocate.
Unfortunately, Bai Jingze didn't realize Bai Yang had crossed Hao Jian several times before. Sending him might end up being a grave mistake instead...
Meanwhile, at Bai Yang's villa, he had just hung up the phone...
"Do they seriously want me to ransom that idiot?"
Receiving the task assigned by his father, Bai Yang's face contorted with anger. Even he had to tread cautiously around Hao Jian, yet that idiot dared to provoke him head-on in his domain?!
Wasn't that just asking for death?!
"Do I really have to obediently deliver money to Hao Jian?" Bai Yang wasn't concerned about Bai Herong's life; what annoyed him was being positioned as merely a "money delivery boy," implying that he ranked lower than Hao Jian!
Such a setup was intolerable for someone as proud as Bai Yang. Hao Jian might be formidable, but Bai Yang wasn't one to be pushed around either. Why should he sit back while Hao Jian waited leisurely to collect money from him?
Absolutely not!
Bai Yang's eyes flickered with thought, a dangerous glint emerging. His expression hardened, and he growled, "No way I'm going there without a plan!"
"Hao Jian, let's see if you're truly as terrifying as the rumors say. If you want to take money from the Bai Family, we'll see what you're really made of!"
Hatching his scheme, Bai Yang wasted no time calling a gang based in the Capital City—a mid-tier syndicate that ostensibly operated independently but was, in fact, nurtured under Bai Yang's control.
Now was the time to put them to use!
"Hey! It's me, Bai Yang. Get all your members ready immediately. Bring everyone to Hua City—and don't forget your 'tools.' This won't be settled so easily this time!"
By "tools," Bai Yang was referring to firearms. If his subordinate gang couldn't pull together enough weaponry, it would be an embarrassment to his reputation. To maintain his prestige, Bai Yang had spent a fortune assembling over fifty guns in advance.
This arsenal was risky business. If discovered, it wouldn't just mean jail time—it might even result in execution.
"Young Master Hao! We've received intel. Bai Yang appeared at the airport with over sixty men. Judging from their attire, they seem to belong to the Capital's Baisha Gang. The boxes they're carrying are likely weapons. Looks like the Bai Family doesn't intend to pay us obediently after all!"
In Spice Ginger's office, Hao Jian lounged on a sofa while Spice Ginger angrily delivered the report. Were these fools still trying to play games?
"Haha, just as I expected. Assigning Bai Yang for the handoff—given his personality—there's no way he'd meekly hand over the money."
"This isn't the Bai Family's collective decision; it's Bai Yang's personal choice. Still, it doesn't disrupt our plans. In fact, it'll make our strategy even smoother!"
The corners of Hao Jian's lips curled into a menacing grin. Waving a hand casually, he instructed Spice Ginger, "Go have Bai Herong killed immediately. Spread the news to the Capital: Bai Yang refused to pay us and even tried to attack us, so we had no choice but to kill Bai Herong."
"Understood!"
Spice Ginger's face tightened. Hao Jian was clearly aiming to dismantle the Bai Family entirely. Outwardly harmonious, the Bai Family was riddled with internal rivalries!
